Very close to Peace Park and across road from Hiroshima dome ruin. Many restaurants within walking distance. Clean room. Easy check in and out. Five minutes from river cruise to Miyajima island 4000 yen return that departs from Peace Park. 15 minutes to central station and Shikasen. Beware long queue at Hiroshima station to pick up tickets -45 minutes at 5pm.

A great place. Very friendly and helpful desk, a nice big room by Japanese standards, and super-convenient to both public transport and sights. The whole time I was there, I kept thinking about what a bargain I got.

The Mielparque (pronounced Meh-roo-pahk-oo if you ask about it at the Tourist Information Center or take a taxi) is located minutes away from the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Memorial Park on the way to the Memorial Hall Museum in beautiful Hiroshima. There is good shopping and eating to be had across the street and down a small street a block or two. The room is clean, comfortable, and convenient, if a bit dated. I would have been happier if there was WIFI in the room, but that is still fairly uncommon in Japan. The hotel is easily and cheaply accessible from the train station by tram but not readily identifiable, as the sign is only in Japanese. Have someone at the Tourist Information Center mark it for you on a map before you head out.

チェックインの時間より１時間早めにロビーで待ってました。今まで利用したホテルは１時間早めでも声を掛けて頂いて準備が出来てるのでチェックインどうぞと部屋を案内して下さいましたが
こちらは結局５分前まで準備が出来てなくてとの事で利用者が多いのかホテルが本業ではないからか気が利かなく、対応もお待たせしましたの一言も無く残念でした。

広島バスセンターと直接アクセス出来るので、早朝に広島バスセンターを利用する目的で宿泊しました。室内は至って普通ですが、アニメティーは綿棒や洗体用のスポンジなど一通り揃っていました。室内の飲み物はほうじ茶1回分のみで、コーヒーはありませんでした。

場所が原爆ドームのすぐ北なので、観光地、歓楽街に近く、何処に行くにも便利です。大通りに面しているので、夜でも車の音はしますが、それほど気になりませんでした。朝食のバイキングはなかなか良いです。

１２月にも宿泊したのですが，エアコンの温度が上がらない部屋で，寒くて寝れませんでした。また，この部屋のバスタブの排水が悪く，お湯につかることができませんでした。アンケート用紙にも，このことは書いたのですが，反応が無かったので，ホームページに書き込んだところ，やっと電話がありました。改善をするので，もう一度チャレンジしてくださいと言われたので，今回，宿泊することとしました。今回は朝、ゆっくり出発しようと思ってましたか、排水管の悪臭では、我慢できなくチェックアウトしました。煙草すら、吸う気になりませんでした。禁煙できますかねー笑。
