Good place to chill!

Very nice and conveniently located small hotel on Lake Garda: friendly and effective service, comfortable, clean, a small own pier on the lake to chill: I did enjoy my stay! Two small remarks perhaps:
- there are two wallboxes for electric vehicles on the property, but unless I did not get it, it is only possible to recharge Teslas;
- the atmosphere is a bit too 'Germanic' for a hotel on Lake Garda in Italy.

very welcoming hotel

The hotel is located in the area on the lake that ls very good for watching the sun goes down , Nice beach for swimming yet ,It is not as busy as some bigger towns. The manager Iris and all staff are very nice and hard working people. They made us fell that we were friends. Iris went out her way to meet our needs and even packed a lunch bag for us since we had to leave the hotel early to go to the airport. She speakes garman, italian and english.maybe more.
The dinners were graet , Besides the beautiful view.It is a place for fun especially water sports , visting small and big towns on the lake or wineriers etc. or just stay on the beach all day.I WIIL BE BACK.

Great location, not so great facilities

The hotel is in good condition considering its age. The main plus is the location, just on the other side of the street is Di Garda Lake and the walking area is superb. The double room has two single beds together instead of one big bed and the style is old (although intetionat to keep a romantic atmosphere), the size is small. We only spent one night, and we did not have a good sleep (pillows, bed linen not the best).

Despite the mentioned above, the service is good. Very helpful and nice, that helps to overcome the gap in the expectation for a 3-star hotel.

It was beautifully near the lake.

We were very warmly welcomed by Irisz Schreiter who gave us excellent information about places to visit & offered us maps.
Breakfasts & dinners were served to us very well by Luli & Stefano. We found the food was good & preferred it to nearbye restaurants.
The view from our room was beautiful & we had a large balcony too.

Nice traditional italian hotel with private pier

Hotel manager and staff were the nicest most helpful and friendly people. Beautiful private pier with comfortable sunloungers by lake. Located close to Malcesine which is a beautiful historic town along lake Garda. Parking facilities at hotel but also 200m walk to bus stop and 800m to ferry for lake touring. Great destination for travelling to both north of lake and south. Most relaxing holiday,lots to do and see with lots of lovely resraurants all around. Nice breakfast buffet in hotel.very clean hotel and all around lake Garda. Also flat area for walking around as a lot of hotels can be not as easily accessible on a hill.very quiet area,lovely people.

fantastic views, brilliant host

Car hire is a definite must for this location if you need to see all that lake garda has to offer, although a good number of eateries nearby. We had intended to use public transport for at least one outing but had to abandon this idea as buses not terribly frequent. Make sure you have lots of change with you as the majority of car parks and stopping paces are metered and traffic wardens are around in abundance. Travelled up north to riva del Garda one day and to Sirmione in the south and lots of places in between.
All in all a brilliant 5 day break.

Charming hotel. Great hosts.

I was traveling to Lake Garda with my elderly mother for a few days. We had such a lovely stay. Iris, our hotel hostess, was just wonderful. She was able to direct us on such beautiful mountain drives and to a wonderful winery. We ate one night at the hotel restaurant and had a lovely cold dish with our bottle of yummy local wine while admiring the lake view from the balcony of the hotel. The hotel is located in a more secluded area so it was quaint and quiet. Great restaurants within walking distance along a lakeside walkway that's accessible just across the street form the hotel. Very wheelchair friendly!! The hotel was accessible for my mother who needed a lift and few stairs (small stairway in rear entrance). Rooms were small but clean. We were out most of the day so the size of the room was not an issue for us. It was a very warm and welcoming and affordable hotel. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Swimming in the lake

The hotel is well-located on the edge of Lake Garda. The rooms are a good size, as are the bathrooms, and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately with the summer heat there is no air conditioning and so it made for a rather uncomfortable nights' sleep. Private beach on the lake, opposite the hotel (take care crossing the road) with a platform and ladder for climbing down in to the lake for a swim. Short walk along the edge of the lake in to the nearest village where there are plenty of nice restaurants.

Good 3 star hotel

The Good: 1> Was one of the hotels still available at the lake side when I booked 3 days before, 2> Excellent service - offered to make vegetarian menu with just 2 hours notice and helped with suggestions on what to do around, 3> Loved the jacuzzi - they even opened it one late night on request, 4> the recommended boat trip to the north was lovely - especially loved Riva and Limone. --------- The Not So Good: 1> Malcesine and the Cable Car was extremely disappointing and waste of time and money 2>, the nearest restaurants are a reasonable walk away so if it is hot and you don't feel like getting tied into the Hotel Menu, it is not pleasant 3> You always need to run to cross the road to go to the lake, which was not practical for my elderly parents - the next door hotel had a nice underway.

near Castelletto on east side of lake with mountain views of west side, farther south and it is flatter/less dramatic. enjoyable stay. comfortable lake view room, no problem on site parking but careful entry and exit. nice jetty and pebble beach. good breakfast. hungarian manageress \"Iris\" (pronounced \"eeris\") very good and helpful with local information.

Okay hotel if price is important.

Don't expect anything flash at this hotel. Firstly don't expect any sort of air con. Secondly be aware that the pictures on this site do not reflect the rooms which are basic and dated.
I booked 2 mountain view rooms (me and guests) and initially we were given two dreadful little rooms which looked out onto a grassed hill with no view whatsoever. After raising this with the manager she did move us to nicer rooms as they became available.
Staff were friendly and are what make this hotel. I would recommend this hotel for the staff but not the setting or comfort factor.
For a basic cheap room you can't go wrong but expect any more and you will be disappointed.

Nice place but not a hotel

The reception Klerk was very nice. The room was VERY simple with NO air conditioning just a small table fan. We had to open the windows because of the heat but the mescitos came in as well, not pleasant! Breakfast was as simple as it can get. The only GREAT thing about that place was the restaurant that was 600 meters away by the name of UMBERTO, I highly recommend if u are in that area!!!!!!

Good location for a peaceful break

The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant. I was given good advice about where to go and what to do.

I was surprised that for a 3* hotel that there were no toiletries in the bathroom. I expected the usual small package of basics but there was only showergel in the shower cubicle. There was no bathtub in my room but the shower was sufficent for a short break.

The breakfast was very good and fresh coffee is made on request which was lovely. The view of the lake and the mountains is beautiful.

The hotel is in the North East of the lake which is by far the more beautiful end, where the lake narrows and the Alpine terraine is more close and visable.

I would advise taking a car and making use of the free parking spaces as there is not much to do in the local area unless you have a car or at least a bike.

The private beach is a bonus with access to a pleasant part of the lake.

The room was comfortable and clean. It is not possible to control the temp if it gets too hot or too cold which is not ideal.

I had access to a balcony which enabled a wonderful retreat to watch the sunrise or sunset over the Garda.

Undiscovered Gem !

Lake Garda or Gardasee if German - important, as this is a favourite resort for Germans and Italian families. We were the only Brits and glad of it - No football t-shirts at breakfast, thank god ! This is only a family-owned pension, but a large one and run on precision and ruthless organsiation by Iris, who is amazing and such a lovely person. Liselle runs breakfast and always makes sure you have enough coffee ! IF you want a good, clean hotel, with is away from the main villages on the lake , this is it. Buses and a short walk will get you further into the masses, but nice to be a little further out. GOOD TO KNOW - The hotel issues a simple menu with meals they are cooking that night for €15 p.person - great to know you have a meal ready after a day out, or just say no thnaks and go else where - However the quality is excellent and needed after a good walk. I took my mother who loved it - Kids may need more to do, but if you are going out, no problem. The hotel is always booked, as it is so popular, so get in early ! AND yes, the Germans really do have a sense of humour - we found them great company.

HOTEL IN GARDA LAKE - EXCELLENT STAFF

A good hotel in front of Garda Lake. The rooms are simple but clean and our triple room was spacious. The breakfast is good and the dinner is marvelous, served in a beautiful open air terraced restaurant by candle light in front of he lake - the food is excellent and the portions are generous. The best of all is Iris, the manager who runs this hotel - she is so helpful that one day she drove us in her own car to a town where we wanted to go to pick a boat. She is fantastic.

Værelsesreservation levede i op til forventningern

Havde bestilt 2 dobbeltværelser med udsigt mod vandet. Det ene værelse var ok, men andet værelse var meget lille og skrå kig til vandet. Det ser umiddelbart ud til, det lille værelse var et af hotellets enkeltværelser, vi fik på dag 2 tildelt et værelse med altan til baggården. Ikke helt dom forventet. Ellers meget dejligt hotel og fremragende personale.

Tolle Lage direkt am See (nur durch Straße getrennt), herrlicher Ausblick. Zimmer etwas klein, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Frühstücksbuffet umfasst alles was man braucht. Parkplätze vorhanden, aber tlw schwierig zu parken, wenn viele große Autos da sind bzw alles vollgeparkt. Hotel etwas hellhörig. Service sehr freundlich und bemüht.

5 Tage Gardasee im Hotel Orione

Schön gelegenes 3 Sterne Hotel. Nettes Personal und ein leckeres kleines Frühstücksbüffet. Ein und Auschecken hat Problemlos funktioniert. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten nur mit Frühstück gebucht und waren zum Abendessen im Ort.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mooi hotel aan het Gardameer

Het hotel was mooi, de faciliteiten waren goed en het ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Houdt er alleen weer rekening mee, dat wanneer je geen premiumkamer hebt, je vanaf je kamer geen uitzicht hebt over het Gardameer.
Wat wij van te voren ook niet wisten, is dat je eerst een weg over moet steken om bij het 'strandje' te komen.
De gastvrij was echter ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij, en liet je echt op je gemak voelen
(Het is aan het Gardameer wel echt een Duitse enclave)

Schön angelegtes Hotel, doch in die Jahre gekommen

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Standort, auch die Straße stört kaum. Leider ist das gesamte Hotel doch etwas abgenutzt und bräuchte die eine oder andere Renovierung oder Modernisierung. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und mit dem Nötigsten eingerichtet, für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ging es. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Mittelmäßiges Hotel am Seeufer an der Straße

An sich nettes Hotel aber tendenziell mit Hotelbetrieb und Kinderversorgung überforderte Bewirtschaftung.
Auf dem sauberen Zimmer gut funktionierende Airco aber weder Kühlschrank noch Safe. Dafür gab es ein gut funktionierendes TV, das außer ARD fast alle deutschen Programme zeigte. Wurde zwar nicht gebraucht - für manche aber vielleicht wichtig.
Ich hatte keinen \"Seeblick\" gebucht und so wurde mir das Zimmer neben der Rezeption im Erdgeschoss zugewiesen. Die erste Nacht war wegen einer daneben befindlichen Toilette mit defektem Spülautomat auf Dauerfunktion der Horror und ohne Ohropax nicht zu ertragen. Generell ist das Haus sehr hellhörig, was bauartbedingt dort allerdings weit verbreitet ist.
Das Zimmer ist - auch für zwei Personen - ausreichend groß und verfügt über ein sehr großes Bad mit Badewanne. Da diese weder Duschabtrennung noch Duschvorhang hat, gibt es bei jedem Duschversuch eine Überschwemmung, mit der die kleinen und dünnen Handtücher völlig überfordert sind.
Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer geht auf einen Zaun, eine Betonwand (nach 1m) und ein auf Fensterhöhe ansteigendes Nachbargrundstück. Zum schlafen - bei nicht defekter Toilette nebenan - sicher in Ordnung. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt auch mal bei schlechtem Wetter aus meiner Sicht nicht so geeignet.
Die von anderen Familienmitgliedern bewohnten Seeblick-Zimmer sollen ok aber sehr klein gewesen sein. Die auf der Seeblick-Seite verlaufende Uferstraße ist sicher nichts für sensible Ohren.....

Einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und unsere Wünsche wurden immer prompt ausgeführt. Der Tipp mit der Zimmerwahl gegen die Berge (Hangseitig) war sehr gut da sich die Hauptstrasse auf der Seesichtseite direkt zwischen Hotel und See befindet.

Für den geführten Ausflug mit dem Car nach Venedig gab es dann für jeden noch gratis eine Flasche Wasser (da Venedig teuer und der Weg relativ lang ist) und wichtige Tipps mit auf den Weg, wie z.B. dass man am Markusplatz den Kaffee stehend einnehmen soll, muss man sonst noch fürs Sitzen bezahlen oder man nimmt den Kaffee oder die Mahlzeit am Besten gar nicht am Markusplatz sondern in einem Gässchen wo fürs Sitzen nicht extra bezahlt werden muss ;o)

Auch war sehr nett, da wir nur Zimmer Frühstück gebucht haben, uns empfohlen wurde, dass ca. 800 Meter weiter Richtung Riva del Garda Restaurants sind in welchen wir das Nachtessen einnehmen können. Dies war ein super Tipp ist man dort dann gerade direkt am Gardasee mit einer super Aussicht.
Auch dieser Hinweis nicht selbstverständlich, möchte doch jedes Hotel selber das Nachtessen verkaufen.

Einzig die Parkplatzverhältnisse rund ums Hotel Orione sind für die heutigen Autos ein wenig zu eng.

Aber alles in allem sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, schöne Gegend und gutes Essen. Ist weiter zu empfehlen.

Sehr schön!!!

Wir waren 8 Nächte hier und sind total begeistert. Absolut ausreichende Ausstattung. Mega kinderfreundlich! Wir haben mit Seeblick gebucht und wurden von dem Ausblick überwältigt! Jeder Wunsch wurde umgehend umgesetzt. Trotz direkter Straße trotzdem sehr ruhige Lage! Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!

Hotel anche se non nuovissimo bello e pulito. Piacevolissimo cenare e far colazione sulla terrazza vista lago. Personale gentile e disponibile e colazione e cena molto buone. Unico lato negativo e l'attraversamento della strada (scarsa visuale) per raggiungere la spiaggia.

leider nicht direkt am See+renovierungsbedürftig

trotz Wunsch, das Zimmer, welches auf dem Foto so schön angepriesen wird, zu reservieren, war dies nicht möglich. Dies ist das einzige welches so aussieht und auch renoviert wurde.Wir bekamen dann ein älteres \"Semester\" mit winzigem Bad, Dort war die Kloobrille schon so veraltetet und kaputt, es machte keine Freude...Wer nur etwas Platzangst hat, wäre hier fehl am Platz. Ansonsten war das kleine Doppel-Zimmer mit der Besucheritze und dem Balkon zur Seeseite ok. Leider ist die Hauptverkehrstrasse zwischen dem winzingen Strand und dem Balkon, sodass man nicht unbedingt ruhig den Seeblick geniessen kann. Leider auch Nachts ziemlicher Verkehrslärm. Die Dame an der Rezeption bemühte sich wirklich durch ihre tapfere Freundlichkeit, die Dame im Frühstücksraum könnte etwas Aufheiterung dringend benötigen. Frühstück war spärlich, typisch italiensich eben. Der Kaffee war eher seicht als italienisch. Cappu nur ggf. Bezahlung. Parkplätze sind ideal. Wer nur schnell für eine Nacht was sucht, kann hier fündig werden. Wir waren 3 Nächte und würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmals buchen.

Mysigt hotell

Bra hotell med mycket trevlig personal. Rummen var väldigt rena och sjöutsikten var fantastisk. Hotellet ligger i en mindre by och det är gångavstånd till flera restauranger. Vi trivdes väldigt bra och stannade flera nätter än planerat.

Preisleistung stimmt

Das Hotel liegt direkt am See, die Straße dazwischen stört eigentlich nicht. Liegestühle am Strand stehen zur Verfügung und auch eine Liegewiese direkt am Hotel ist vorhanden, mit Whirlpool. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist völlig ausreichend und wirklich sehr lecker mit Eiern, frischem Obst etc. Auch das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Zimmer werden täglich sauber gereinigt. Ein kleines Manko ist allerdings das Bad, welches wirklich sehr sehr klein ist, und auch dass im Zimmer keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, ist bei hohen Temperaturen unangenehm. Ansonsten war das Zimmer ansich in Ordnung.
Allen in allem ist das Hotel auf jeden fall weiter zu empfehlen , auch die Lage ist sehr günstig. Etwa 15 min von Garda entfernt & auch in Brenzone selbst kann man abends sehr schön essen gehen.

Välj något annat!

Hotellet kändes ganska slitet. Ligger precis vid vägen så mycket trafikljud även om nätterna åtminstone om man har rum mot sjön. Ingen luftkonditionering, bara en fläkt.
Däremot bra service från receptionen.
Vi åt middag på hotellet första kvällen, då de serverar tre-rätters för €15, som man får förbeställa, detta kan inte rekommenderas. Välj en restaurang i byn istället!!
