The staff at this hotel were brilliant and very welcoming. The room was exactly as advertised and the whirlpool was a great novelty for the children.
The only negative was breakfast; it was very expensive and had a poor selcction - especially for children. It’s also worth noting that the pool is not available to under 16s.

We had a generator starting every fifteen minutes for two minutes, all night long under our closed window. When I made the remark that we didn’t sleep well, the clerk said “next time we will put you in an another room”

Friendly staff, good parking facility. Covid 19 precautions were good and adhered to,although it helped that the hotel appeared to be fairly empty.
Food in the restaurant was very good, at sensible prices.The Spa and pool were also very clean and spacious.location close to main routes, but not too far from town centre.

We chose this hotel because it says indoor pool and we have 2 little kids. It turns out the indoor pool is in the spa and is for adults only.
The pool was rather small. The sauna and steam room though nice and very modern only fit two or three people at a time.
The room is alright. We were expecting more for the price. No kettle for coffee or tea 👎

very bad services... the hotel is full of painting fume which makes is really hard to stay in. The hotel did not clean our room because we had some clothes on the bed and for them, it is their policy not to clean the room if you have couple of shirts on the bed or else. We were there for 2 days so not really a lot. When we complained they pretty much told us it was like that... not even a free coffee for not cleaning the room. They gave us a strong attitude... very bad place do not go!! I usually do not write reviews but here I had to warn future possible guests. Moreover it is outside the city center so avoid.

Good local hotel at good price.

Overnight business stay. For the price the hotel was very reasonable. Rooms were comfy and adequately equipped. Breakfast was reasonable but nothing fancy.
Local town is rather sleepy but there are a few nice places to eat rather than the hotel.
Ther is even a small pool! Outdoors

We stayed here when we visited Strasbourg, on our way down to the Black Forest in Germany. The hotel is located a short drive from Strasbourg but as we were driving it was close enough for our needs. The reception staff were kind and welcoming. The room was simple, clean and everything we needed, including free wifi. We had a drink in the bar in the evening and the beer served on tap was very nice. We didn't eat so can't comment on the restaurant but there's a lovely good size dining room and the food that was coming out smelt very nice!

Modest but acceptable.

Good price for the quality. Not far from Strasbourg, however if you do not have a car, train station is not that close to hotel. Swimming pool and big free parking is real advantage. Though the hotel is a little shabby overall stay was OK.

Value for money at the discounted rate

Got a big discount when booking and for that price the hotel was value. had it been at full rate we would have been quite disappointed in the comfort and size of the rooms - which are very small! Breakfast was very good and the areas of hotel that are refurbished look nice.

Good value hotel

Friendly staff, clean room, bed comfortable enough although slight sag so that as a couple we rolled slightly into the middle - but not bad enough so that I kept waking up. Air Con worked well. No UK channels on the TV though. Not a lot going on in the surrounding area but it was a stop over whilst passing through so I wasn't too worried about that. Pool a nice temperature and although a fairly busy main road right next to it which was fairly noisy it was still a good sun trap.

Don't trust the photos!!!!

The rooms were not clean. There was 1 washrag for "towels". There was mildew and yellow stains throughout the rooms. There were holes in the wall of the rooms. The hotel smelled like my 90 year old grandma's house. There was no lighting in the hallways so it was impossible to find your room without tripping into things. It was one of the grossest hotels I have ever seen. The photos might have been taken 10 years ago - they could not have been recent.

Needs work

On arrival I was pleasantly surprised at the overall look of this hotel as we hadnt paid very much. Lovely gardens and pool. Attractive outside eating area. Our room though was quite shocking. Very tired and not cleaned very well. Holes punched in wall. Textured wallpaper around toilet which would be hard to keep clean. Grotty tiling in bathroom and tap sinks so worn I had trouble working out whether it was dirt or just worn. Wood surround around bed had footprints on it. When my husband checked under the bed to make sure we hadnt left anything on departure there was a collection of stuff, none of which belonged to us. Fortunately the bed was clean and very comfortable. Our room was on poolside quite a busy road. I am sure that when I read description of this hotel it said it was in shopping district. We walked in lots of directions but found nothing but car dealers and car repair garages. Nor could we find anywhere around to eat which meant we had to eat in the Hotels very expensive "Chez Ernest" restaurant. Seemed a strange combination. Budget room in Hotel with expensive restaurant.

Room small but clea. No TV remore control. Also, there was a light switch on the wall a few inches above the bed head (no headboard) so you couldn't sit up in bed without switching on and off the light! Bathroom clean but there was a mouldy smell coming from somewhere and no air vent.

No waiting staff in breakfast room, and all tables needed clearng.so had to wait for waitress to come on duty.

Ceci n’est pas un hôtel avec piscine pour les familles avec enfants !! La piscine n’est accessible que pour les adultes et rien ne pouvait nous préparer à cela. Nous sommes très déçu car rien ne prévient les clients sur la description !!
Un week-end raté pour mes enfants et un accueil psycho rigide à l’accueil de l’hôtel..bref nous ne reviendrons jamais..

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Hotel Europe. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wege sind sehr kurz im Hotel zum Restauarn und Spa. Alles ist sehr sauber, ordenlich und super freundlich.
Das Deluxe Zimmer ist mit eingebauten Whirlpool ein Spitzenzimmer der Oberklasse. Gefehlt hat uns ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, weiterer Stuhl, sowie Handtuch-Ablagen und Haltestangen um den Whirlpool.
Das Frühstück ist für ein sehr einfaches Continental Frühstück überschaubar. Bei dem Preis haben wir uns etwas umfangreichere Auswahl vorgestellt und sind an den übrigen Tagen lieber in der Innenstadt frühstücken gegangen.
Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel Europ und können das Hotel mit seinem Deluxe Zimmer und Spa nur weiterempfehlen.

Die Unterkunft hat uns gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch der Spa Bereich war sehr schön.

Nous venons dans cet hôtel depuis maintenant 2018-2019 il me semble, et nous sommes plus que déçus par notre dernier séjour là-bas. Premièrement la qualité de la chambre était médiocre, des taches au niveau du mur et plafond, sur la moquette également. L’eau du spa était plus que limite en ce qui concerne la température. C’était l’un de mes premiers hôtels en amoureux, j'en avais gardé un très bon souvenir, je ne sais pas si nous reviendrions un jour. Nous avons été très déçus !
Des personnes ce sont également permises d’écouter à notre porte et de ricaner… je ne pense vraiment pouvoir passer un autre moment romantique dans cet hôtel qui a été auparavant mon préféré.

Soggiorno di 4 giorni con famiglia... Camera spaziosa e comoda, non abbiamo usufruito del servizio colazione e cena, a pochi minuti nel centro del paese trovata pasticceria favolosa per colazione e ristoranti nelle vicinanze.
Unica pecca avrei preferito trovare ogni giorno l'acqua in camera non essendo presente il frigobar

Friendly staff but would not go there again

We arrived late night just before the kitchen closed. We ordered food, but it was really bad - the steak was raw and when it was sent back, it came back as if it had been in the microwave

The room was clean, but it smelled really bad. Could have been from the drain in bathroom, but it also smelled in the hallway

The room was really cold in the night, and we all ended up freezing.

The staff was really friendly and good service.
