Rooms and common areas were clean, staff were friendly with great customer service. Will stay again.
Vladimir
The hotel is conveniently situated 10 minute walking distance from the beach. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi which were opened until 11 pm. Our party had 3 adults and we stayed in one-bedroom suite. The room was clean and spacious. The living room and the bedroom had 2 separate air conditioners. The hotel served full breakfast every morning. Also good-quality coffee machines served coffee around the clock. Our room had a microwave and a refrigerator. It would be nice to have a microwave in a breakfast area as well. Overall our stay in the hotel was very enjoyable.
David
Staff was helpful and the breakfast area was clean and restocked frequently!
Kenneth
A wonderful place to stay!
Erica
This hotel is a perfect location to everything and close to the beach. Staff was super nice and it was very clean. Will definitely stay here again when we come back on vacation.

We stay 2 nights here, but they just come to bring some new towels. That’s it! No clean up or change the sheets as some hotels I used to stay! But the staff is good! The breakfast was great too!
Laisha
There was black mold all over the ceiling above the shower.
Douglas
Súper buen lugar, limpio y muy rico el buffet de la mañana
Luisa
The time is too short.
Jeff
The continental breakfast was unique in providing omelets with the breakfast. They did have expired milk in the cooler which was a letdown as it was definitely curdled. Overall, a great experience.
STEPHANIE
Clean spacious room. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.
SHIVANA
Our first room had water damage on the ceiling they did change out the rooms but only after we made a complaint, the shower pressure was low , breakfast is great, pool was great, just an okay stay was too expensive for not having upgraded amenities eg old chargers, no smart TV. Upgrade the hotel please
Myriam
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. We got there around 2:20 p.m., even though check-in wasn't until 3:00 p.m. The front desk gentleman was very friendly and let us check in early, which we really appreciated.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioner worked perfectly—it felt so nice after being out in the Texas heat. Our room had a sofa bed, and when we asked for the bedding, the front desk lady was very kind and quickly gave us a bag with everything we needed.
The pool was a pleasant surprise because it was heated. The evening breeze was starting to get chilly, so the warm water made it very comfortable. They also provided pool towels, which was a nice touch. My daughter had so much fun swimming.
Breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the pancake machine—it was so easy to use! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming.
The best part happened when we were checking out. We had already loaded our car when one of the employees came running outside to return the AirPods I had accidentally left in our room. That was incredibly thoughtful, and I was so grateful for their honesty and kindness.
The hotel's location is excellent—it's within walking distance of the beach, which made everything even more convenient.
Overall, everything was perfect. The clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, heated pool, and outstanding customer service made this one of the best hotel stay

Great place stayed here 10 years in a row.
Ezra
It was ok so i gave 4, but really more like 3.5. We stayed for a quick family of 4 trip to Port A. First time staying in the city. The hotel seems to have been updated/ remodeled in the past few years so it looks nice but wear and tear starting to show. Rooms are very spacious. Given room on second floor. 2nd floor hallway smelled horrible. a mix of strong cleaner and vomit is what i can liken it to. Room we were given had a water leak in the ceiling. We told staff and they gave us a larger room which was nice. Staff was helpful but I can't say friendly. Fitness room small but had good weights selection. Pool was nice and spacious. Hotel is walking distance from beach and nice places to have a drink. Breakfast was ok but not great and they stop serving at 9:30am which we thought was weird for a beach hotel where most may want to wake up late. Overall we had a good time but I don't think we'll choose this hotel again.
David
Great IHG that’s reasonably priced and puts you a few minutes away from the beach and entertainment.
Briseida
If you’re looking for a good place to stay I definitely recommend staying at Holiday Inn! Staff was amazing everything was very clean and the breakfast was delicious! Beach access is just around the corner! I will definitely be going back next stay at port aransas!
Rachel
The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location for walking to the beach (if you want) and from restaurants.
Bradley
We really enjoyed this this hotel for its location, within walking distance of the beach. The property is a little dated, but the room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and included breakfast. One recommendation would be to offer better dairy free and gluten-free options - my wife and daughter had very few options to choose from.
Sandy
Everything was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Chris
The room was a little dank smelling and the windows don’t open. But to be expected on the coast. All in all it was last minute and it worked for us. Hot tub and pool was nice. Good location but no views or anything. Bed was surprisingly comfy, nice pillows!
Anthony
Very good

The restroom could benefit from renovation, as there were multiple areas with mold on the bathtub and visible cracks. The lighting was somewhat dim, and the toilet was not flushing properly, which we had to address ourselves. Additionally, the breakfast options could be improved. On a positive note, the staff were courteous and friendly.
Magan
The front desk girl was rude and didn’t even look up off her phone when being talked to. If I knew her name I’d let corporate know other then that it wasn’t bad
Rodolfo
Breakfast was really good staff were nice
Claudia Malray
Check in was great, Staff very accommodating.
Hotel and area was very busy due to Texas Sand Festival. So pricing was a little more than expected. Due to soo many people in the area.
The Pool bathroom was a little unkept and could have used a bit more of extra attention.
Room was clean but had that mildewy smell about it. Kept it pretty freezing so the smell wouldn't over take. Carpets in the room could use a little steam cleaning.
Breakfast has been great, but then we went like right at 6 a.m., So everything was fresh and hot.
Hot tub was nice could have done without the kids in it, but it wasn't like super negative.
Pool was nice and you can get a few laps in.

JACQUELINE
Room was very nice and hot breakfast was awesome! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at this location again.
Albert
Room was cleaned but did smell like outside or humid. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. Hot tub came in clutch, pool was not headed. Overall not a bad stay at all. Room was big that’s a huge plus for my family.
Michele
We stay here often always clean, breakfast is amazing! Highly recommended
Ariana
Marissa at front desk has poor customer service.
Amanda
Check in staff were not very friendly and didn’t explain anything about the hotel like others felt like I was bothering them for checking in. They don't clean your room daily, we had to throw away the trash in a bigger trash outside the room. Pool was supper cold and hot tub was supper warm. Breakfast was okay. Checking out staff was nicer. Rooms furniture had like water damage.
Jennifer
This property was great. Loved that it was a short 5 minute walk to the Beach. Very convenient.
Teresa
This Holiday in was so close to the beach walking distance from restaurants and golf cart rental!
The breakfast was amazing, they have a coffee machine out all day. And the pool area is very nice, has plenty of seating.

The room was clean, the parking was good, and it is close to the beach and walking distance to everything. Pool was clean and breakfast was better than expected.
Galadriel
Room smelled musty/moldy. The room was also not very clean and very shabby and ugly. The TV stand was in very poor condition, peeling wood grain on everything. Horrible experience
Paul
Open parking. Adequate, easily accessible spaces.

While the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, the overall experience was satisfactory. The breakfast options were diverse and well-prepared. The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive.

Carolina
Great breakfast choices. Very clean room
Frank
Room and service were great
Ralph
A/C worked terribly. When we checked in, the front desk clerk looked as if she didn’t want to be there. There’s is NO smart TV’s in the rooms, so forget about streaming. The TV’s were smaller than other hotels.
Tory
The room was too hot
Susan
I found pubic hair on my sheets, two black curly hairs. The breakfast were mediocre. The eggs and sausage were mushy and the baked goods stale.
I am having billing problems too, another charge for $560 pending and a $650 fee. I had two rooms and was not aware of pet charges were going to be charged. It would have been courtesy to at least inform me of these charges and purpose. Two rooms $170 one night turned into a nightmare.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming, contributing to a truly great stay. We enjoyed the fantastic breakfast, which featured a wide variety of options. A relaxing soak in the wonderful hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Our overall experience was excellent, and we highly recommend this hotel.
Alphia
Did not eat breakfast. Handicapped Parking was okay. Over all our stay was fine.

There were roaches in our room which was the most terrible thing we encountered. We refused to change room and was offered a discount but the folio receipt showed full charge and we were ready to get the hell out. After the infestation incident, we didn't eat the breakfast the next day for fear that maybe the kitchen had pests as well. Nice staff but maybe oblivious to knowing there are roaches.
Victor
In good shape

The hotel was nice , clean and updated! Breakfast was delicious!

Clean with good amenities
Clean, friendly staff and nice breakfast
Tanya
We had a double queen bed on the 1st floor with a view of the pool. Room#102 was close to the side door and parking. The room was clean modern everything worked fine fridge, air conditioner, tv etc. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was good, except the link sausage a lityle over cooked. The staff was very polite and helpful. Will stay here again. I always stay at Best Western on the same street. But it is getting very run down. I think they have new owners and dont look like they are doing any repairs or up dates.
Mark
One of the easiest check in at hotel that I have experienced. Room was great and the bed was so comfortable!! Would stay here again for sure.
Amy

Will look elsewhere next visit
Staff were OK and breakfast was decent. Hotel room was dirty and had an unpleasant smell for the whole duration of our stay. Other guests were unruly in communal areas and slamming doors at all hours of the night
Hugh
We have stayed here a few times, no surprise at check in and wonderful staff
Jesse
Room 119 nightmare!!!!
Room 119 was horrible location right across from the laundry room, the room had a bad odor smell like a combination of vomit and sewer smell. I went to make adjustments to the A/C and the vents had an orange substance that seamed to look like vomit. The smell was horrible, the furniture needs to be replaced, coffee table is badly water damaged along with the entertainment cabinet where the refrigerator sits, and the shelf/ cabinets below the television. The house keeping crew was very nice in providing towels and necessities. One of my daughters works as a housekeeper for a hotel organization so I know a lot of the staff is always very friendly and helpful. For the price I paid for the three nights at this hotel is not acceptable in my past experience with the same line of hotels.

Best Staying Over
Staying here was amazing! The room is large and clean. Beds are great and comfortable. The free breakfast and food are delicious! Location is a few minutes walk to the beach - we love it!

Love the area. Everything is pretty much walking distance to the beach and dine in restaurants. Highly recommend if your not trying to drive around in traffic.

Clean, sleep is comfotable with their bed, pillows, bedding ensembles. Daily clean up and replenishment of towels. Free breakfast. Nothing to say bad about the property. It's just the other guests staying who is making loud noises when it's already nighttime.

Room was very large. No noise issues very quiet. Very clean. Beds were great, pillows great. Pool needs attention, needs renovation and was cloudy with algea. Disappointed in that.
Barbara
The staff was great! The breakfast was also a hit.An additional hour of service would make it perfect. Regarding our room, there were areas that had not been cleaned in a while. The pool has furniture that is broken or in bad shape that needs to be removed.
