It’s a cool spot in a great location right downtown Revelstoke. Convenient access to all of the cute little shops and many dining options. Loved the convenience of the full kitchen. A couple of issues came up, like the cleaning was pretty poor in the upstairs area. The staff offered to come in and re-clean, or move us to a different room, but by that point we were already unpacked in the bedrooms downstairs and it felt more intrusive to have someone come into our space once we were already settled. We did appreciate the offer, however. A weird thing that is not explicit is there is no elevator on sight, or if there is it is not marked, so just be aware that you’ll be lugging your heavy bags up two flights of stairs to get to your room. The other weird thing was that on our second day one of the staff just walked in. My sister heard the door open and called downstairs and one of the staff had let themselves into the room and said he was told we needed more hand towels. We did not ask for more hand towels. Also, what happened to knocking and waiting for someone to answer the door? It was very unwelcome and made us feel kind of sketchy that just anyone could walk in as there is no latch on the door to add extra security. Also two of the windows were broken and couldn’t be opened. Overall just not great.

The room was very quiet, clean and fully equipped. Best equipped kitchen with top quality utensils and pots & pans. The only thing we had a problem with was operating the bedroom tv which was turning it on. Having the phone call trouble shooting was awkward. But in the end I suggested unplugging & replugging tv which seems to reset the system to work. Our room was awkward to reach as oir access door was on the opposite side of our parked vehicle l. We ended up passing our stuff through the window

The room was dirty. I had to clean the floors which were covered with rocks and some sort of filth. The room was not as pictured when I booked. For example, there is no counter in the bathroom. I had to sit in the parking lot because there is no onsite check-in. The bar across the street was super loud as were the couple next door to me - I could hear every word of their private conversation. The heat did not work and the only way I could warm the room was by turning on the oven. There is no onsite staff to deal with any of these issues.

I was so excited to stay here that I can’t believe how utterly disappointed I was with this place. The service and communication was the worst I have seen in years. And thats not a statement I make lightly.

I made a booking and then basically right after I would have been able to cancel it I got the phone saying my two night stay was going to be split into two rooms. No option to cancel anymore and I felt like that was done purposefully. Even though they changed what was agreed upon when I booked I had no options.

Talked repeatedly on the phone with different people, no one was any help. For a two nights reservation the bill was around $1200. I got $65 refund for the hassle. I was told to write an email to the manager and they never got back to me. Everyone was always passing the buck.

It was a computer glitch which I understand can happen. But it was zero of my fault and I was the only one paying the price. They tried to make it sound like they were doing me a favour giving me a late check out and an early check in when switching the rooms. Someone tried to get into the room both mornings at 9am even after we told them we would not be out early. There was no communication with the people I spoke to on the telephone to the people cleaning the rooms.

So disappointed with this stay but I guess what can you expect from companies now a-days. They dont care about your business and you are just a credit cars number to them.

Great room -- very clean, spacious, modern. Very well-equipped kitchen (best I've ever seen in a rental). Self check-in, so there is no management staff on premises -- but they were quick to respond to text messages. We forgot a bunch of hanging clothes when we left, and had to make arrangements for them to be picked up by a friend and brought to us in Golden -- guest services was very accommodating and helpful to make it happen. Only complaint is that the door to an adjoining room allowed noise to come through -- loud talking and laughter from next door was clearly audible at times.

Be warned- there are TWO Basecamp places in Revelstoke- we only stayed at the downtown location but friends ended up at the other one at the other end of town. The downtown one is managed by the other so you won’t have a front desk or staff around should you need anything. The space is comfortable and the location is ideal. Parking is super convenient. There is not much insulation between the units so if you are a light sleeper- it may not be ideal but it didn’t bother us. The top floor hot tub is fun and social. We will stay here again!

When asking for an earlier check-in than 4pm, we were told over the phone that we would receive a message when the room was done being cleaned. We ended up just parking outside an hour prior to checkin due to a storm, and did not receive any messages. The room was clearly done being cleaned even earlier than that, as no one came in/out of the room in the time that we were sitting outside. Although it sounds like a minor inconvenience, we really would have liked to settle in after a long day of driving. The room itself was clean and the check-in process was easy.

The kitchen was fully stocked with full size bags of coffee and all the fixings. They had 2 rooftop hot tubs which were clean and had plenty of towels. The only thing i would mention with the check in process is to state that you can only access the codes to punch in through the parking lot side, not the street side. Very clean! Love the Rocky Mountain products that were in the room. Loved our stay and did not want to leave. Will definitely be back!!!!

Booked for three days. Only stayed the last day. When I arrived I noticed the safety entrance was broken to get to suites. When arrived I entered the code they sent me and it did not work. Strangely heard people inside my suite. I knocked then housekeeping came out. I asked why they were in there because it hadn’t been used. All they would say is (we do deep clean). OK strange…so they start to leave and I mentioned the code not working for the door. They responded (well it’s broken). Sooo you’re leaving me without access to the suite I say and then they just said (well take this key then. That just told me base camp couldn’t care less if I had access to the suite I rented. And 2 out 3 tv remote’s didn’t work either so my guest that stayed in the second room stared at the wall.

Great location in a quiet, friendly town. Hot Tub was good to relax in after a day of walking. Only negative was that the access code is sent via SMS and does not arrive if you have an international number, so we had to drive back to the main hotel on the other side of the town to get our code.

This is the first time we tried a staff-less hotel and the email communications were great. the hotel rooms are complete apartments (except no living room) and even have a washer/dryer. Excellent for skiers and travellers. there were 2 rooftop hot tubs with perfect temperature for those long tired days. Overall and excellent stay.

The property was good and the apartment we rented was large and very well equipped. The beds were excellent.
The site is situated in downtown so there is a short walk to everything there. The only other thing to know is that to get to the 2nd floor apartments you need to walk up a flight of stairs, other than that it was great.

Property and room were great. We enjoyed the hot tubs too! Location is awesome - right downtown so super close to coffee shops, restaurants, etc.

Check-in however is a pretty poor system. No reception or front desk agent. We called to inquire about early check-in, they said it's based on the cleaners. However when we arrived and asked the cleaners, they seemed confused and said it's not possible to check in early. I also had to help two other people with the online check-in process. It's not easy for older people who aren't tech savvy or visiting from another country and don't have data on their phones.

Pros- new, clean, comfy bed, easy access to shopping and food, hot tub (good views), quiet, easy parking, easy check in, good price, rocky soap products.

I don’t really have any cons to my stay, but just a few comments. While our room had a huge closet, there were only 5 hangers and there are no coat hooks anywhere in the room. The towels were really rough. The hot tub views were great, but wish you would have done a glass insert in the railings, instead of black bars, so you can enjoy the view better.

We enjoyed our stay here and plan to stay again in October.

Highly recommend - only thing i didn't like: the late check-in time and not a minute earlier than 4pm.
I was and needed to use the rest room and get ready for an evening event.
The excuse I received was “the room is currently being inspected”- no one was there inspecting it. I was parked in front of the room and had been waiting a while already before asking if i could be let in 30 minutes early. Nope.

Enjoyed our stays here especially with a bigger family. Was in the heart of downtown very walkable close to eateries. Only downside is after staying in a few of these suites. Some of them have different sizes of sofa with a three bedroom. It would’ve been convenient to have a sectional sofa in both suites. We only had that one night out of the two.

Beautiful suites right in the heart of Revelstoke. Our family had a 2 story, superior 2 bedroom unit with 2 and a half bathrooms. Lots of room for 4 adults and 2 children. The unit was on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. The mainstreet is 1 block away with coffee shops and restaurants. Parking was easy and we could park 2 vehicles. Very comfortable beds. We would absolutely stay here again.

The property is very new and spacious. However, the 2nd floor suites are only accessible by stairs. No elevator so it will be hard to bring in the luggages.

The over the head microwave is unconventionally too high.

Extra linens for Sofa bed do not feel fresh and thoroughly cleaned. Fabric feels very dry and dusty.

Remote control and TV are useless. Not setup for connection and remotes not working.

Missing hand towels in the washrooms and not enough bath towels. We have to call the reception and pickup towels in the hot tub because no one is around to help us out.

This was my families first time staying in Revelstoke and the first time at basecamp suites. We stayes in a two bedroom and were very happy with the accommodations. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only inconvenience was that there are no elevators and we have an infant in a stroller. But we managed and it didn’t sour out experience.
