Our room was very clean and quite comfortable. The hotel is decorated in a very eclectic style that makes for interesting viewing. I really liked the historical pictures in the dining room. The front desk staff were quite nice. Lack of an elevator to the second floor is the only drawback we found.

The lounge was closed during my stay, I was looking forward to playing the pool table, the original room i was given the bathroom wasn't clean, there was hair on the toliet and around the bathroom... the worker at the front desk was able to move us to a new room but still felt uncomfortable as i questioned if the new room was cleaned

Room was comfortable decent size and well kept. Updated including nice shower.
Standard hotel room coffee with whitener.
Walls are thin. Lots of hallway noise and some traffic noise from downtown. Might want to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
For the price of the room, the complimentary continental breakfast is on par with what you’d expect. Cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs, cafeteria coffee, teas and juice dispenser juice.
Overall, it’s a good economical stay that is right in the heart of downtown Revelstoke.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The restaurant onsite was only open for tour buses in the afternoon and evening which was not stated on their website. We had to be on the road before the restaurant opened for the continental breakfast.
The room above us was quite noisy however, the website informs guests that the main floor is more noisy. We wanted to be best our vehicle as it was loaded with our son’s belongings. Hence the main floor room.
I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to others.

The only issues hardware the extremely fat pillows. I sleep with a thin pillow and found it almost impossible to sleep with those huge ones.
The other thing is the breakfast. The only thing warm was the coffee. We decided to skip the breakfast there and go somewhere else.

Otherwise the stay was fine. Staff were excellent. The room was very clean.

It's 1962 building renovated a few years ago. The location is right at the middle of downtown Revelstoke. Everything is just a minutes of walk including the riverside park. If you have a room at downstairs you will hear whenever someone walks upstairs. Sonic you are sensitive to sound book a room upstairs. Kudos to the hotel management for giving a disclaimer while booking that the room downstairs can be prone to noise. We booked knowing it and it did not really bother us. The staff is super helpful. The included continental breakfast is minimal but fantastic. Couldn't ask for anything more. Will be back here for sure.

This is a very pleasant hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the parking is convenient, the restaurant is good, unfortunately there is no elevator. The rooms on the lower floor will be very noisy so if you are able, take a top floor room. Room is nice, bed is firm, tv has a good selection of channels and the bathroom has a great shower. Large fridge, bright windows and a very good and quiet air conditioner.

This is an old hotel in downtown Revelstoke that is getting updated. The bed was excellent and much appreciated. The decor is a mix of newer Chinese furnishings with the original stuff and creates a unique exchange of styles. The Breakfast was very basic and it would be nice if they had better coffee to get the day started. Overall it is good value for Revelstoke which is getting pricey and delivers on a good sleep.

I booked this place because one night of the Alpine was all I could take. I came to the grizz just based off the photos alone. The rooms were very nice. I reserved a second floor because I didn’t want to hear upstairs noise. And that worked out great. However the people right near us were super loud and we could hear them most of the night. The beds were very comfortable just don’t sit on the edge of the bed because the whole other half will come off of the floor. There is a small mini fridge in the rooms but the only microwave is right near the check in desk. Super weird when you want to heat something up. When cleaning they need to clean all of the walls in the bathroom. Not just the shower walls. The bathroom walls had this gross yellow stuff dripping down the entirety of the walls. Also it’s weird that when asking for extra towels instead of just marking my room down noting I had the 4 extra towels. They have to come to my room to collect the dirty towels. Breakfast - 5 choices of cereal, hard boiled eggs, orange slices, coffee, bread and juice. That is NOT considered breakfast also not $20 worth of breakfast for each extra person you charge for in a room per night. The outside looks very dumpy but the inside is really nice. If the windows were updated to new ones the place would look great from the outside.

Very tired property. The decore is mid 20th century Chinese. The bathroom door was squeaky. No hot tub. Breakfast was minimal. No elevator to the second floor and no one to assist with luggage. Two positives: the location is great and the hard boiled eggs were freshly prepared. No way I would book here again.

I had higher expectations from the reviews and overall rating. Nothing wrong but not great. Lack of parking, no staff overnight, sub standard continental breakfast, only giant firm pillows, no more wood paneling as per pictures( cheap ceeling tiles). Picked it over the major chains, but next time would try elsewhere at a slightly higher price point. Would stay again if a great price.
