Has a decent stay noting the Selkirk building is older and was under reno. Room was clean but had a strange odor possibly because of the renos. Pool/hot tub was enjoyed. Staff was helpful and offered to see if they could put us in the newer building but unfortunately had no space.

Expedia would not allow me to change my plans. The website stook me in circles and the the wait times for phone calls was listed as over 1,045 minutes. The inflexibility cost me $250.
Juding by the inability to contact Expedia to change plans while traveling or for anything else for that matter, they just lost a repeat customer. Their charge on my Visa will be disputed. Sad.

Awesome clean rooms good stay- Strong safety warning (Sandman Revelstoke BC), the overhead sign that reads-Pet Friendly- over the pedestrian walkway is only secured by one screw. It is large in size and is glass or plastic. In strong winds the sign looks to be ready to fly off and possibly hit a passing person or pet 😬.

This stay was genuinely disappointing. I usually really like Sandman properties and find them to be reliable, comfortable options, but this location is in noticeably poor condition. The staff were kind and helpful, but the building itself is old, heavily worn, and not well maintained. The moment you walk through the front door, there’s a strong, unpleasant smell that sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. The hallways and rooms are dated, and in need of deep cleaning and significant repairs. Even the lighting is bad, feels like a hospital not a hotel. Surfaces are damaged, fixtures are tired, and the overall environment doesn’t feel fresh or inviting. I don’t say this lightly - I wouldn’t stay here again. If this were the only hotel available in Revelstoke, I would choose not to visit. It’s that far below the standard I expect from this brand.

Rooms are clean but the property needs some TLC, holes in wall, lots of scratches everywhere in the room, and most importantly we booked this hotel for the Hot tub and it was ice was cold and didn’t warm up for about 8 hours so we ended up having to use the rec centre and pay.

Don’t expect a luxury experience but well worth the money. Microwave and mini fridge let you buy food at the grocery store instead of buying at restaurants everyday during those week long ski visits. Always coffee at the front desk ready to be poured.. Hot tub, pool and gym are all well maintained. Denny’s within the hotel is always good for a morning breakfast.

Pull-out bed was awful. Ended up pulling the mattress off onto the floor. The pool and hot tub are outdated but clean enough.

Water pressure in the shower was good but it was barely tepid for heat (likely due to demand).

Upside, it was quiet at night.

There is literally no sound proofing in the rooms o could hear every single person coming and going at all hours which is lesss than ideal with small kids . Part of the building is under construction and the pool in the one building isn’t even operational so you have to walk outside to get to the pool and that was less than ideal if you have little kids. There was also no chain or extra door stopping lock which is something I feel almost all hotels have.

The room was large with many cabinets and surfaces to set things on. It was very convenient to park just outside our motel door. The hot tub was hot and clean.

On the other side, many surfaces had not been dusted for a very long time. Also, when I pulled out a cabinet to plug in a device, there were many things behind it. The room needs a deep clean.

I read a few very bad reviews after I booked our trip and we were nervous about our stay. We even brought our own cleaning products and beddings just in case!!

Well, we were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the size of the room since we had a small dog; Scottish Terrier. I am not sure why some people wrote such bad reviews about dirty rooms, unfriendly front desk , etc. maybe those were very isolated incident and sometimes, things happen. Good help is hard to find these days.

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and big room. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced. We have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. In addition, my wife was sick the whole time we were in Revy and literally stayed in bed for three days except for a small 3 hour outing for dinner one evening. If a very sick person can stay in bed and feeling comfortable for three straight days, it’s good enough for us all unless you are looking for 5 STAR LUXURY accommodation with a McDonald’s budget!!

We’d stay there again for sure. No questions ask.

Staff was nice. The sheets on one of the beds had hair all over the sheets, which led me to believe they were not clean. They brought us new linen when asked. The house keeping was not too good. One day they didn’t clean and brought us fresh towels. The second day I left the tag to make beds and clean and they cleaned but didn’t make beds. Also, I didn’t have a kitchen. Pool and hot tub were nice.

I used to really love this hotel, though I don’t see the value for the price now. The check in process was extremely slow. No one was at the front desk for about 20 minutes. I called the number on the business card at the front desk though no answer. The room was also not overly clean. There were brown drip marks down the wall in the bathroom and it seemed like the carpet was vacuumed. The hotel has great parking for snowmobilers and is very close to the chevron gas station. The location is great.
