Budget hotel but it’s very clean, the AC worked well and they had hot water. Water pressure is best later at night. The front desk has 24 hour staff so if you are looking for a late night check in this place can accommodate you. Good rate

The location is excellent and just out of the main area of town, and off the roadway to be quiet especially in the back rooms with small balcony. The host is amazing, he is always willing to help and always available. The building itself, is not that old to have the issues that it does. The door knobs don't work on many of the rooms, the fixtures are about as cheap as you can buy as well as the bedding. The stay is a total value however and I would absolutely recommend foo a family on a budget stay

Bad. Key wouldn’t work well, toilet seat broken. Had to move to another room. Breakfast was not served as the website said. It smelled of urine. The swimming pool was green from being unkept.

Only local channels, and even they were cutting out. YouTube available and NetFlix, but have to have own account.

Not really close to anything, so I would recommend a car. Coronado beach is amazing.

A smile cost nothing

Overpriced for sure and the place needs a makeover. The service was soso and they don’t like to smile . Even when I returned the remote of the airco ( I drove back for 30 minutes ) the only response was ‘OK ‘ No thank you or nothing. Unfortunately there is not much better in that area for that price or you have to pay $200,- plus . Panama City has much better hotels for reasonable prices

The rooms are not comfortable. The beds are hard and the pillows are small and few. The air conditioned was noisy and leaking water. Had a nice pool.

It is perfect to sleep and continue your travel next day. Bedroom is simple and clean. I didn't like that it said breakfast included but it is not true, and also the air-conditioning started dripping water.

“Hotel camping”

This place was not as advertised. Clearly states on website free local shuttle which is a big part of why we booked. It does not exist. As we arrived. By bus we were forced to take taxis back and forth to Coronado for meals. The place also advertised a restaurant but never once in our 3 day stay did we see anyone eat there. Also mentioned a room safe,also not available. We even had to ask for toilet paper as there was not a single piece to be found in our room. The room also had a very odd smell. On the plus side we had the pool to our selves and the shower water pressure was very good. Bring your own shampoo. This was definitely “hotel camping”. If you do decide to stay there.....eat
T breakfast at 7am when they put it out as it sits there till 10. Be prepared to make your own bed too. Took 6 hours for the air conditioning to catch up after we arrived. Photos also show a nice display on desk with bottled water, yes well also non existent.

All the rooms are on the second floor so this is not a good hotel for someone that has a problem with climbing stairs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was an issue with the electricity, it went out 3 times during the night but for short periods of time. Im sure this is beyond the hotels control.

Room quality much lower than shown in pictures

Our bed was broke/hanging through on left side, entrance door key defective, towels very old, WIFI does not work, TV has only 4 channels, no pool towels and pretty bad breakfast \"buffet\"

Positive note: staff is friendly and helpful. Changed our room and tried to fix the wifi.

On the highway away from everything

Even though the hotel is new, construction is poor. When you turn on the shower it shoots into bathroom (not opposite wall of shower). Air conditioning hits center of bed so you either freeze or sweat. Even though room was second floor there were ants on the walls I kept killing. There were few other guests and when I asked for a hairdryer at the front desk they didn't have one.

Watch out for rooms on the front side

The hotel is normal, next to the highway. Rooms are relatively ok cleaned, and ample. The only big issue I had, is the first night we were given a room towards the highway and the noise didn't allow me to sleep. Next night, room towards the back, good night sleep. The hotel is basic, but for the price, it's ok.

The hotel looks nice in pictures, but is nothing as depicted. The room smell funny and the bathroom wasnt pristine clean. Breakfast buffet left a lot to desire, not enough choices. Full of flies, even in the food.
Didnt go to the pool, we saw it and didnt luke it.

For one night, good if you just want to sleep.

The hotel does not compare well with other Panamanian facilities in which we have stayed. Staff was competent or better. Beds excellent, free breakfast average. Reception/restaurant, halls, rooms and pool clean. Stairs only to second floor. AC in rooms only and located so it blew directly on one bed. Excluding towels, soap only in bath, no other amenities. WiFi intermittent and seldom available. TV three channels only, in Spanish--cartoons, local news and something else. Virtually impossible to find at night, a simple banner labeled \"HOTEL\" is on the face of the black building about 150' from the road behind a fence; a more suitable sign seemed to under construction. For a new facility, Express Inn appears to be a work in progress and there's a lot to do.

Location close to Playa iCoronado a plus

We have traveled in Panama before and were surprised at this \"new\" facility. It was difficult to find from the road; an unlighted banner saying only \"HOTEL\" on a building more than 150' from the highway is of little value, particularly at night. Only the rooms had AC, the restaurant and sitting area did not. WiFi worked intermittently and seldom, a staffer our second day apologized for outages and was very helpful. If in-room TV is for you, there are 3 channels only, one cartoon, one undetermined, one local news--all in Spanish. Beds were excellent. Shower had no mat, shower floor serving as soap, shampoo holder, only soap provided. Pool was excellent, breakfast good. We quite understand that the hotel is new, but there is much to be done to bring it to the standards that we found elsewhere in Panamanian lodgings of comparable value.

New hotel, not quite into customer service yet.

Not happy! It was hard to find, the hotel did not have a decent sign yet. The shower is not properly installed, the water goes straight to the head, not the body. Stepping into the room is a bit dangerous, the room floor is an inch lower than the hallway, tricky for the back. No elevators, and all of the rooms are on the second floor, absolutely no help with the suitcases. Extra charges for silly stuff, like ice for example. No Premium TV channels, as announced on the company website, only three local channels. And the list goes on, loud music all afternoon and evening (noise!). Disappointing.

You get what you pay for

Rates are decent for the area. However, several 'poor' services made us question this newly opened hotel. The write-up mentioned 'Premium TV channels', all we got was 3 local Panamanian channels in Spanish. Breakfast was the exact same eggs every morning and a tiny bit of fruit. We had to pay for a little bit of ice, no ice machine. The shower in the room was hopeless, the tiny shower head pretty much sprayed the water straight on our heads and could not be adjusted, plus, the shower itself was very poorly designed. Also, watch your step when walking into the room, the room floor is about 1 inch lower than the hallway floor. We hurt our backs a few times. The loud and 'dumb' (noise) music in the afternoon and evenings was not appropriate either. These people have to learn how to build hotels and how to manage them: with a client centered attitude would be better. It was also hard to find, they could have placed a decent hotel sign.

It's located very close to the beaches and other amenities, the only thing I did not like is the appearance of the hotel, it is not related with the service and quality which are very good. A place to stay if you want to know the beaches, mountains and valleys surrounding the area.

Best bang for your buck!

The location is convenient, as it's on the main highway. right between Coronado and Nueva Gorgona--perfect since I was house hunting between the two towns. The hotel is brand new, so everything is clean and in great shape. The hotel staff was all very friendly, check-in / out were fast, the breakfast was basic (self-service toast, coffee, juice, pineapple chunks, and eggs cooked to order), but that's to be expected at this price level. The pool area is clean and hast plenty of palapas and lounge chairs.

Brand new hotel on the Inter Americana highway

This hotel opened 2 weeks prior to our stay & probably wasn't ready to open. Many construction workers still on site. Problems with the air conditioning in some of the rooms as well the dining room. The pool was closed for 1&1/2 days for maintenance.

The room furnishings were minimal & although all rooms had nice balconies, none of them were furnished.

No bath mats , no pillow cases under the pillow shams.

Hotel viejo.

El hotel ya es viejo, pero por el costo que se paga es razonable, la habitación al llegar tenía algunos bichos muertos cerca de la ventana, lo que nos dio descinfianza, el baño teníamos que revisar bien porque sino el agua se quedaba saliendo de la taza de baño, las sabanas estaban viejas y rota. Adicional la reservacion decía que incluía desayuno y al llegar nos dijeron que eso no estaba incluido. Pero por como se veía el lugar tampoco nos apetecía.
