Night 1 - no coat hangers in room, also no towels, soap, key for safe,
No coffee available unless one had breakfast, lunch or dinner. If no guests were eating there that day, then no coffee was available at all.

Coronado Inn is one of the nicest stays in the area. The staff members are professional, welcoming and very patient. While their English is limited, and my Spanish nonexistent, we were able to communicate and understand each other. The rooms and towels were cleaned and refreshed daily. They also left folded \"towel creatures\" on the bed which provided a nice, soft touch. Also, the restaurant on the premises provides some delicious, upscale meals. I will be staying here when I return.
Let me just add, on our last day, when hubby and I didn't return as we had previously done six nights in a row, the staff called my cell phone to check on our well-being. I've NEVER had that happen before. I was appreciative and impressed by their thoughtfulness. Thank you!

After reviewing their daily rates, I made an easy online reservation. This hotel is located along the highway, behind a casino. I took a San Carlos coaster from Albrook and was a short walk from the bus stop to the hotel. With a few malls closeby and plenty of restaurants in the area, I was able to find everything I needed. Hotel staff did a great job of answering any questions. I was able to converse in English. I requested an apartment refrigerator and they accommodated my request. The facility was clean and inviting. My room was spacious and had a comfortable queen size bed. I opted for $10 laundry and was very pleased with the service. They have a small in ground pool.

The in-room safe did not operate because it did not have batteries. Many basic amenities were missing - no microwave, coffee maker, iron, hair dryer. The hotel runs front to back with open interior hallways. Truck and bus traffic could be heard from the highway.

My biggest concern was the WiFi. With just a few English channels on the cable, I tried to watch YouTube videos, but the internet would quit and restart every few minutes. Eventually, on my last day I was not able to pull up any videos at all. Similar for WhatsApp calls, my call would start and be cut off after a short time. Text messages went through in place of voice calls.

I understand the hotel is under new management and it appears they are working daily to improve conditions there. With such a nice staff, I can overlook any discrepancies.

Billing discrepancy is curious

Coronado Inn is just fine. We had stayed there before. But it was an unpleasant surprise getting billed $183.54 by Hotels.com and later receiving the cc receipt from Coronado Inn bill for only $141.84. Difference = $41.70. Tried asking why on Hotels.com virtual chat, but never got through. Curious.

Great place to stay, basic low budget, no desk. or chairs for sitting and working on computer, etc.
No glass wear, plastic or other wise.
Unknown if was ice available or not.
Unknown if they had a restaurant.
Great place het in and out ina quick overnight stay.

I arrived early by 30 minutes, the receptionist just let me check in around 15 minutes before 3 o'clock. They give you a single key. The AC was really bad during the day the room was hot. But the room was clean. The restaurant is closed so you need to buy your food on the area.

Definitely a no frills. You want a place to lay your head for overnight, this is it. And thats all it is. Splash pool. No coffee maker or refrig, just bed and bathroom. Didnt lookf dirty, just felt dirty.off a main road so noisy but on a Tuesday night there was also an all night party (untill 130 am) across the road. No rest for the weary!!!

NOT in Coronado but on the Pan American Highway which is not nice. In addition they changed the name to “Coronado Inn” so never found it the first night and had to stay in $275 a night hotel.

The hotel was good, once we found it. The name had been changed to the Coronado Inn. The place seemed to be a family run hotel, where the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was clean, but a very simple type hotel.

Ok Hotel to stay the night in this area

We have looked for a place to stay close to the beach, but outside of Panama City.
There weren't many options that are affordable, so we picked this hotel.
The rooms are outdated and everything feels old, but it is ok to stay for one night. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast was good.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel was walking distance to a supermarket, which made the location very convenient. We'll be back. Our only complaint was that the hotel was hard to find, especially at night.

Nice clean welcoming hotel close to all amenities. Good air conditioning. Fridge was a welcome. No tea or coffee making facilities. Good bathroom but water only warm and not hot. Good TV channels. This is really a place to stay if you are passing through. Local restaurants not very good. Too many fast food outlets

Pleasantly surprised

We were going in blind but were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff was very friendly and worked through our language difference. Room was very nice and they moved us when the wifi was weak. Breakfast was delicious. Close to the bus stop and to a shopping area for groceries. Would definitely return here.

Good hotel for a night or 2

Fine stay for the night. Don't think I could do more then a few nights, but it worked perfect for us as we were just passing thru. Room clean, a/c worked great, staff wonderful, but on a the highway, above a casino/nightclub. But all and all, we would probably stay there again.

OK for one night business trip.

One night before a business meeting in Gorgona. Room is OK for business trip, but nothing extra. Could use a covered walkway to Riba Smith next door to get snacks and drinks, got soaked in the rain. Exit stairway by room had exit door locked, big fire hazard, if I had not discovered that.

Electricity & consequently the water went out 4 times during a 4 night stay for several hours at a time during a rainy season. Outside generator didn't help much and added to the street noise coming from being right on the Interamerican Highway.

Petit hôtel au calme et pourtant donnant sur la Panaméricaine. Hôtel de taille familiale avec piscine et terrasse très agréable. Une très belle surprise pour nous à tel point que nous sommes restés 1 nuit de plus. L'hôtel est en pleine rénovation et nous sommes certain d'y retourner. Une simple petite critique : il serait idéal de pouvoir avoir un café au réveil. Peut-être une simple machine dolce gusto ferait l'affaire, afin de pouvoir proposer un café, thé ou chocolat en se reveillant après une bonne nuit... A très vite...
