Overall the stay was fine but the hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Our outlet in the bathroom was broken, tub had a weird spot in it (wearing), and the hot tub jets were not working and making a horrendous noise. Tried to use the pool but got out when we realized there was a bunch of brown pieces of something floating in it. My hotel in DC cost half the price of this hotel and it was 10x better. Not horrible but not what I expected, nor is it worth the price.

BEWARE of the new revenue stream of paying for parking on site through a separate company. A dishonest addition to the total cost for an overnight stay, and while I do not post very often, a review that I will provide in as many places as possible for travelers to know. To make matters worse, you then begin getting text messages to renew your parking 24 hours later.

We received excellent service and our needs were cared for. The hotel's WiFi went on tne fritz on Thursday but was fully restored by Thursday night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The first room we were offered, the battery for the door died therefore we ended up being locked out at midnight. The lady working at the front desk was really friendly and tried to be as helpful as she could. Beyond her control, the second room was dirty. The bed wasn't made and there were finger nails near the bed. Further there was toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror. The front desk attendant offered us their final king size bedroom and which was cleaner and better than the first two with the exception that the thermostat was broken so the room got really warm at night and nothing we could do about it. We informed a different front desk attendant of this and his solution was to offer us 2000 rewards points. Mind you, we did not have a Marriott account. The First desk attendant gave us 5000 rewards points. They stated they couldn't provide a refund because we booked through Expedia and no manager was on site that day. We ended up just dealing with the warm nights for 3 nights. Would not visit this or other Marriott properties again.

Discovering after arriving that there was a $10 per night Parking Fee in the parking area around the hotel that is usually free was very off-putting and made me wonder why Expedia didnt have this information more prominently displayed on this property's Expedia booking tab. In addition as a further inconvenience, the $10 parking fee had to be done via bar code in the parking lot. I would have chosen a different hotel had i known that.

Arrival went well; however, the property assessed an unannounced self-parking fee of $9.50 per night. Spent only two nights but got no towel or trash service.
