The location to the Naval Academy is excellent. We dropped our son off for I-Day.The hotel is between two other hotels - the Graduate and the Westin which are really nice hotels. Unfortunately HGI didn't match up to the other hotels especially in detail at the entry to the hotel. Dead plants in the planters. The rooms were \"clean\" and the hallways need to be vacuumed regularly. The hotel has great potential. Attention to detail will make this hotel a great choice. Sadly my first impression is making me consider another hotel for Parent Weekend.

The hotel is located not far from the historic district of Annapolis. It is a nice walk towards this area. The hotel staff at the reception are very welcoming. The room is nice. I didn’t like the carpet, but it’s a matter of taste ))) Selection for breakfast is very good and tastes good, but on the second day we had to wait for quite for the food to arrive. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it to others. Good value for money.

Besides being in a great location--only 15 minutes from downtown Annapolis, the hotel fit our needs perfectly. Nice size and clean room, breakfast available (although not included in the price), parking conveniently located next to hotel. Just excellent.

Day and Evening front desk staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The room itself as well as the general condition of the hotel, luggage carts, ice dispensers, carpet condition, especially in room were torn, worn and in need of repair or replacement. The bathroom has peeling wall paper, the refrigerators had broken door rails and the first one we had, froze everything in it on the first day we were there. The exhaust fans in the bathroom operate on their own accord and would cut on with any motion, even coming into the room sometimes. They are old motors, with rattling and a constant loud hum, and the first night stayed on till 5am, the second night till 3am in the morning. After calling the nightstaff, was told \"they will eventually cut off\". Spoke with the general manager and was moved on the 3rd day to a quiter room in better condition. The fan had to be disconnected, as it was said to have no manual controls. This was a long standing problem, as it appears many guest have complained before, and no one has sought to put a manual switch in the rooms.

While the staff were very pleasant and helpful—the physical property has seen better days. Our first room had a leaking shower and a non-working refrigerator. We were moved to a different room without question. This room was laid out a little better. But, both rooms had the a/c & heat vents right next to the bed. We had to turn the system off at night so the cold air wouldn’t blast onto the person on that side of the bed.

Nice room and hotel. But staff were not at all helpful and parking was a nightmare for something that they charge $35 per day for...up front. Location decent but depending on what you're looking for it might be better to stay down the street at the Graduate.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. We did not use the hotel bar or eat breakfast there so can’t really speak on that. It’s close to a lot of great spots. We walked everywhere we went! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I have is parking. Very small parking lot unless you use valet and even then, you run the risk of getting blocked in.

Very friendly staff!! Room needs an upgrade, linen covers overused, same carpets and furniture. Good mattress. bathroom specious but not 100% clean. Same for coffee machines. Great location.

Parking is awful! The tiniest cramped parking garage I’ve ever seen. I parked in their lot, paid for parking upon check in and they still somehow gave me a parking citation. When I called the hotel to ask why I received the parking citation they said not to worry about it. Regardless worry about it, and have to deal with it later. Such an inconvenience.

The hotel is in a good location, walkable to restaurants, nightlife. The room was worn, but clean. The lobby coffee carafe was empty at 7 am on a Sunday morning, very surprising. Did not have time to wait for a new carafe to brew, as Uber was waiting. There was a dog wandering around the lobby, unleashed, I think belonging to a guest, but they were not near him. Parking is very limited, though there was a valet to help with parking.

Front desk lady was kind a rude, we was charged $85 dollars for late check-out and for some snacks that we supposed took and was a mistake on the hotel, we checked out around 10:20am and they reviewed cameras and the snacks was for a different guess!!! The guy on the phone didn’t like the fact that we requested review the cameras! Overall this is the first Hilton with a POOR customer service! They need to be conscious that customer pay their salary’s! Lady on the front desk not even greeting instead she said “you have a reservation “” vallet parking never asked for assistance guy was on the phone all the time!!! I do not recommend this hotel at all nex trip I will stay on Graduate hotel down the street

We were there due to an event at the Fleet Reserve. The hotel was fine, a little bit of a walk to the Annapolis waterfront. The breakfast prices were a little high, in my opinion. The parking was safe, but also a little pricey for a one night stay.

Always best value vis-a-vis location in Annapolis, by far. My only gripe is their parking area can be very tight…it’s often a tightrope walk to get into one of the spots under cover without hitting another car or a pole. And the uncovered lot is often full if you arrive later in the evening

Glad we were only in the room for one night… the bed was uncomfortable, rolled into the middle, the switch plates were all messed up, electric exposed in the bathroom, no coffee provided had to go to the front desk. Minor inconveniences but was there for a staycation/anniversary so wanted it to feel a little less “inconvenient” and clean/comfortable.

Really glad I booked this hotel. It was within walking distance to main street and the dock. Very clean and safe. Breakfast was fantastic. Loved having a balcony. The only negative thing is how small their parking lot is for SUVs.

The housekeeper on duty the 26th on the 5th floor was an exceptional individual. Pleasant, efficient, and very customer oriented. I would like you to let her know that I listed her here. Unfortunately I did not see her name. The front desk staff was mediocre. I was checked into a double and had reserved a king. She did not tell me this! I had a meeting so no time to change to the room I had paid for! It was odd, really. So they compled my 35$$ parking fee, which is outrageous anyway, frankly. Annapolis does not aspire to 35$ parking. 36$+ wth the tax. Seriously??
Breakfast we waited about 25 minutes for coffee and our order taken. The food was OK, no seasonings, no garnish and poor portioning of side dishes. No silverware with the plates delivered. The waitress seemed overworked even though it wasn't particularly busy. The whole stay was simply mediocre, at best. We come to Annapolis to go to Ram's Head and hear the music at 49 West so this property is a great location. If you comp me a room for my experience so we can try again I'l recover for you with a better review.

I’m not a fan of pets in hotels, so it was particularly disturbing to step into the elevator and find pet feces.

Guests next to us were questionable. Slamming against furniture and yelling and screaming meant a disturbed sleep. Not the property’s fault, but the response to my phone call to the front desk was appalling, I was advised to call the police if I thought safety was an issue. The male front desk associate communicated with irritation and a pompous attitude. I’m not looking to get anybody fired, but it would seem to me that a guest services refresher course would be a good idea.

The Hilton Garden Inn located in historic Annapolis is an excellent value. Though the rooms are fine, the exceptional staff is what makes the hotel outstanding. Greta, a morning restaurant server, went beyond the call of duty by ensuring that iced tea was available for me each morning, even on her days off.

We stayed here for our 17th anniversary and reserved the best room in the hotel; king suite w/terrace. Let me a start with the good... ALL of the staff are super friendly and helpful, minus the cleaning staff who didnt speak and didn'tdo a good job cleaning our room; the staff is not the problem with this place in my opinion. We immediately walked in to a dead stickbug on the tv stand that looked like it had been there a while. We examined the room and found cobwebs all over the batroom. All the HVAC units stated \"change filter\". There was a broken tile at the base of the shower where you step inand one of the dispenser in the bathroom was broken off from the shower; never would have noticed accept they didnt even remove the broken part. The curtains in yhe living room were litterally falling off due to being broken. There furniture is arranged in the bedroom so that you can't actually close the door. There were stains all over the rug in the living room. All of the decore and furniture looked at least 20 years old, and seemed like a random put together room with leftover furniture and decore. This was supposed to be the nicest room I was told, h to see the others. We only didn't leave or complain cause we hadn't planned on spending much time in the room. We have stayed in a lot of places much nicer than this for less and way better for not much more then we spent here. The room is not worth the money at all. I could go on about a few other small things but you get the point

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The King Room was nice and clean. Located in a nice area. The drinks and food at the bar were nice. The only downside was the parking. The lot is small luckily I have a small car but once you’re parked you’re hesitant to leave because there may not be a space available. The overflow lot isn’t finished. Overall I’d stay there again especially when visiting the area for a night or two.

We arrived for a short stay for a wedding in the area. We arrived super late on Thursday. It’s a nice hotel however I asked for the sheets to be changed because there were black marks on them and they never got changed.

Also the remote was not working and we mentioned it to front desk but again nothing was done until we had to call again for it.

I was under the impression that breakfast was complimentary but were wrong. It’s only for certain members of Hiltons reward program.

The hotel was nice the room comfortable and spacious. The front desk staff was attentive and present. The location was in the center of town and close to everything. I hated the parking, the spaces were tight and somewhat limited but that is to be expected the hotel is in a very historic part of the city so the availability of a broad spacious parking lot was not expected. I am happy there was parking available and I did not need to move my car because of the great location.

very basic room in need of updating. poor lighting. rock hard mattress, so couldn't sleep. old wall heater made lots of noise. parking lot is small and very tight. towels were too small and thin. overall the place is dingy. I will say the staff were nice and the location is good. but definitely needs a face lift.
