This place is horrible. Bathroom was so duty. Only one towel and was used. No trash can, weed odor so strong that I requested to move to another one, hoping the other ones would be better. But I was wrong. It was in the same condition as the prior one. Aldo, card reading didn’t work. I was told I was gonna get a working replacement. But I never did. It was a horrible experience.

Worst experience ever. No contest. No refrigerator or microwave oven. Broken down motel in a bad part of town. Homeless people nearby. This was absolutely not the Best Western Desert Winds motel, which according to hotels.com, was where I attempted to make a reservation. Not the former Red Roof Inn, which has fallen into needs of major gross repairs. Just bed, AC, bathroom sink, toilet, shower. That's about it. The office forgot to turn the outside lighting for parking lot & outside porch lights to rooms until 7:50 pm, nearly an hour after the sun went down. Not a restful visit for the money.

Left a necklace there and when I called to ask if they found it hanging on the shower rod, they were so rude and told me sure would check 1 time and if she doesn’t see it there. There’s nothing she is going to do about it. She didn’t even give a call back so make sure not to leave anything there because you will not get it back!!

Owner was very nice and friendly. The hotel room was very dirty. Room was cheap. Don’t walk around your room barefoot. Definitely an old smoking room that was never cleaned properly. The hotel is not in the best area of town.

Do not stay in this hotel. It is old and not quite clean. You cannot even get to the reception area - communications are through the small opening in the window. Receptionist demanded to pay cash for the stay (even though it was booked with credit card). He wouldn't even talk to me before getting money. No coffer in the morning (not in the room, and other areas are closed).

The Shower head was broken. Told manager he said cancel and get a refund. But its the Thanksgiving holiday that was impossible. He gave my husband a new shower head and tild us to replace it. Wow will never stay there again. No toilet paper in room. No housekeeping and no clean towels. Worst place we ever stayed.

Refused a confirmed booking saying they did not have rooms available. They then magically had the rooms available, but only upon paying a 150 USD cash only deposit. Owner swore at us when we refused to pay the deposit without looking at the rooms.

It's also a regular motel, highly doubt the rooms look like that (if you can get one)

You get what you pay for… we didn’t pay much and didn’t get much. The AC worked sporadically through the night probably from having half the desert in the vent. There were skittles stuck to the floor and the washcloth looked like it had been used for a mechanics rag in a previous life. The TV remote was missing a battery.

So the night manager is either a thief or the biggest Ahole or both. First I show up and he won't even talk to me without $50 Cash deposit and the welcome email said there would be $100 deposit, nothing stating that it had to be cash. I'm traveling I don't carry cash all I have are credit cards. He says he doesn't take reservations wouldn't look my name up or anything. So I left and lost my prepaid room I \"slept\" in my car at the reststop. what a fin dick wad

You get what you pay for

This is definitely a bargain hotel, so you have to set your expectations accordingly. The pictures manage to make the place appear nicer than it is - it is old, but the rooms have been redone, kind of.
Issues:
- Was given wi-fi network and password, but my cell could not find the network
- Room had A/C. But it would trip the (built-in) breaker. So I had to keep resetting the breaker to get it to run.
- There was a TV, but all I ever got was snow.
- The bed was reasonably comfortable, but very noisy when you moved.

Our room was absolutely disgusting and the pictures that were advertised looked nothing like how the room actually looked. There was dirt, spills all over the walls, and it was clearly not cleaned before we arrived because there was socks and a loose pill of some sort in the room. It was supposed to be a no smoking room but reeked like smoke. The curtains were torn up, the beds were terrible, drawers were missing from the dresser, the bathroom had exposed studs with mold on it to name a few... absolutely filthy. We had to get a hotel somewhere else. Definitely avoid !!

Clerk was at work and 3 hours after checking in he pounded on our door and said meet me in the office. No introduction We were just supposed to follow this stranger. Lots of people in the parking area smoking marijuana all day and night. Room reeked but we had driven from Texas and needed a bed. Would not stay again nor recommend

Worst Hotel Stay I've Ever Had

It's a cheap hotel, so I wasn't expecting much, but they still managed to disappoint. The door to the hotel lobby was always locked, and I had to check in via a teller window on the side of the building.

The Wifi password they gave me didn't work on any of the networks in range; I spent the whole week there with no internet. I tried to contact the front desk about this, but the phone had no listed number or button for the lobby. I walked to the lobby but the door was locked (at 6 in the afternoon) and nobody came when I rang the button for service.

The room was filthy, as you can see in the pictures. Some of the towels still had hair on them from previous occupants. The furniture was in disrepair, handprints all over the headboard of the bed. At least the bed was made and the sheets at least LOOKED clean.

Plumbing is very loud. Anytime somebody in another room takes a shower, flushes a toilet, or runs the sink, you can hear it like it's in the room. Water pressure in the shower was terrible, and the shower handle was not intuitive at all. It took me a solid 5-10 minutes to get it to a temperature that wasn't either scalding hot or freezing because it had to be in just the right spot.

This place would be okay for a single night if you're just passing through, otherwise, I would never recommend this place to anybody, and I will certainly never stay here again.

Friendly Staff & Good Priced Hotel

Place was good for the price. Check in was easy and owners were very nice. When we got into the room it smelled like bug spray. I sprayed everything down with Lysol & my perfume, but the strong smell never left the room. Bathroom was clean. Bed was noisy and mattress felt older but pillows were okay. Pillow cases could have had a better quality fabric. There were holes in the curtains of the windows, and we heard a train a couple times while sleeping. You can also hear everything from people next door easily. Walls are thin.
Fire alarm battery was low so it started chirping. Manager came and handled it right away. He was nice and friendly. It’s a clean place to lay your head, but there might be noise from people around there either outside or in parking lot that could wake you up. The AC worked well and the room got cold - I was happy since it was over 109 that day. Overall you get what you pay for and it was definitely worth the price. Not bad just bring your own waters, snacks, and food in a container.

The stay was decent for the middle of the desert, management was very accommodating and respectful, not a bad location to save some money and have a decent stay. You can walk dogs in the lot next to the motel, the rooms have plenty of space, and if you have any concerns they are addressed immediately. Would stay again.

We got there and the owner wouldn’t even let us in the lobby. Just turned us away and he had no rooms. I tried to explain I had a reservation and already paid for it and he basically chased us away with security. I had a tired crying baby in the car and all we wanted was a place to rest after driving for 15+ hours. Worst experience of my life. Couldn’t find another hotel in the area that wasn’t full so we ended up just having to drive the rest of the way home

the cleanliness was awful! the toilet had obviously not been cleaned. the bedspread looked like someone had been lying on it.
The pillow cases were not ironed. The water glasses were not in the bathroom but were in an in an obvious place. The whole facility was in deplorable condition and the room in the photo looked far different than the room we were give. We DID NOT STAY MORE THAN TEN MIN. BEFORE LEAVING1

Half of the rooms were rented out to off-site workman. The room was reasonably clean but was missing half of the bath linens. I asked for another set from the older male management and was barked at as if I were wrong at my request. Odd odor was present, next morning discovered a cooked microwave dinner lingering behind the closed glass door. This property allows dogs, management needs to be more diligent in cleaning areas where they(the dogs) choose to do their business.

Got there at around 3:30 pm door was locked. When the guy came out and I told him I had a reservation he had an attitude like I was bothering him or something. I've stayed at a few Red Roofs and have always expected a decent hotel at a fair price this one had aboned cars,portable BBQ in front of rooms along with toys,clothes,boxes and some trash throughout the complex office wasn't even open when I went to check out at 9:00 am was wanting a printed receipt. I think Red Roof corporate needs to pay this place a visit!

It was a very poor hotel. A junker car with flat tires and broken rear view mirrors sat in front of my room. Bathroom was gross. Mold covered entire ceiling over shower.
Cable tv never worked.
People live there and keep their bbq’s in front of their rooms.
Not even a parking space available.
Was told to park in handicap space. Hoped no one disabled needed it

Very convenient location. Have plenty of food and gas options minutes away. Cheap and has plenty of parking. Relatively quiet considering its half a mile from train tracks

Main issue was roaches. First room I walk into, 4 inch roach posted up on the ceiling. Switch room and a couple hours into my stay, another roach pops from under the bed.

Definitely a place that needs some pest control. Also there is sizable amounts of trash/litter right outside the property fence which probably contributes to the problem
