Rooms windows were not properly installed and they were gaps around them. Tv was 13in and horrible reception so nothing came in clear. Sink in the bathroom leaked and the shower head was all clogged up and I did bring that to there attention and they did fix it after the second night. I guess for the amount of time we were there it wasn't bad but it could have been better.

The staff is very nice they made my experience very pleasant.
I would rate the hotel a 3 star, as there is no AC and the rooms are dated. The Morning Restaurant chef is amazing but in the evening it was not good.
Overall good place to stay convenient and close to restaurants and museums.

I didn't pay attention, and I didn't notice none of the rooms have AC until we arrived.

We booked a room with a king size bed (the only reasonwe booked it there), but were given a room with 2 queen/full beds, we were so tired when we arrived that we didn't ask to be moved to the right room.

Honestly the worst! First, we overpaid - $50 USD & we paid $180 with tax. Then, no help with bags (& we had 4). Relied on kindness of stranger to haul them into lobby from curb. Knew room would be small but... bags barely fit! Then the noise... unbelieveable! Never again! STAY AWAY!

We have been frequent guests of this hotel for several years, but we will not be returning after this visit. It seems to be under new management, corners cut and what was a reasonable and friendly place, decent for the price, is now less than reasonable. The sheets were old, no mattress protector, half of the lightbulbs were burned out in the room as well as the bathroom, and the sink barely drained. We never expect great towels, as we have been staying here often over several years, but these were horrible. And we were told they no longer give extra towels (although they have never given hand towels, they always used to give us an extra towel to use). No longer give 2 bottles of water daily, and no longer give glasses. The only “glass” I was able to get at all was from the hotel bar- a styrofoam cup! New staff at check in didn’t know we were frequent guests, and although we didn’t care about a bellboy helping us with luggage and showing us our room, the fact that we weren’t even asked was strange.
Bottom line- there are less expensive hotels in the area with better service. Or pay an extra $10 per night for a much better hotel.

It's a decent budget option, altgough there are much better options to consider. The best thing was the location and the worst the breakfast. The room was very small and basic with uncomfortable beds and a bad toilet. Service was good, although the service at breakfast was excruciatingly slow. Don't opt for breakfast. It will do for a couple nights. No fridge, no ice machine, no comforts.

Good overall.

The Hotel overall is good, but the service in the restaurant is much slower than in other places, so you have to be patient. The Hotel is kept very clean, but still saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Some friends from Mexico told me this is an ongoing problem in several parts of the city even when people clean, so I let it be. Other than that, I felt safe in the hotel and the staff was friendly. You do get free water bottle, which is much welcomed.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The front desk was so amazing!! The room is a bit small but if you just need a place to crash while you're out on the town then it's great. It's also really close to restaurants and turibus pickup/drop off.
The only down side is that the wifi was terrible. I'm not sure if it's because we were on the 8th floor but we had a difficult time connecting.
All in all a great place.

It’s an old hotel, but they do good job keeping the hotel clean. workers here are reasonably kind and friendly. Only thing I’d like to mention is that they don’t have A/C in the room. We personally didn’t have any problem, but some people might find it uncomfortable or too hot. The location is great, 15 minutes walk to everything, such as US Embassy, metro station, etc.

Hotel is near the Reforma, but quite a long walk from metro stations. Also several blocks west from the Ciudadela. Breakfast is included but can be stingy. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Get room on higher floor, outside can be very loud at night. No computer for guests to use. Sent across road to other hotel who charge exorbitantly for the privilege.

the Hotel staff were very friendly. The restaurant is very slow. and the room was comfortable, except that mosquitoes invaded our room at night. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning in the rooms, so to cool the room, you must open the windows. However, the windows do not have screens, so the mosquitoes came in. Around 2AM, the mosquito problem became intolerable, so I called downstairs to see if they had bug stray.. about 10 minutes later they brought up a bottle. We sprayed the room and it took care of the mosquitoes, but then we had to put up with the strong smell of the bug spray. It's a nice hotel and i would go back, but not until they replace the window screens.

Good hotel for sleeping

The hotel is good for sleeping only, like when you're on vacations around the city and sightseeing all day since it has no pool or gym and the bar is always empty. The restaurant is not good and if you have the option without breakfast is better since they have the same menu every day and it's not good either. The restaurant staff is rude.
The building is not new but is well maintained and it's located in a very convenient location near many landmarks and the neighborhood is safe.
There are rooms with and without a/c so make sure that you get a one with a/c in summer time.
The hotel staff is helpful and courteous.
The hotel looks clean and the rooms as well, however I found some little cockroaches in my room.

Cheap but okay. Good location. No AC, last time they even forgot the water bottles. Only if you won’t stay more time than necessary.
Not for vacation, as I stated before, does the job, but nothing more.
Wifi not working . Hitel is inclined due to earthquakes.
Well, still standing,so probably safe. Kind of uneasy feeling about it though. Very noisy due to non existent noise isolation. Paperthin walls. Well what do you expect at 35 us ?

The hotel is inclined (earhquake) so the doors shut by themselves (no joke) . Walkable . Would I come back ? Not really. I was just choosing this one because my favourite hotels (five stars) were all having triple rates thanks to lots of conventions in the city. As I said, this barely does the job,but nothing more.

Apparently people in this hotel are avid door-bangers , because there were neverending door-slamming noises outside. Really not suitable if you love it quiet !

This hotel is right at the center of the city only a block away from Reforma, an impressive wide Avenue designed to assimilate the Champs D. Avenue in Paris by Maximilian the French ruler of Mexico in the 1800s.
Very nice rooms,very clean,friendly and helpful staff, modern building.
Definitely I recomend this hotel to anyone.
A four star hotel with a two star price. Not expensive and very convenient.

The hotel is tilted and you can see it from inside. It is scary. Rooms are clean but there are some bars nearby which make a lot of noise at night.. Also, rooms do not have a refrigerator or iron. If you want to use the remote control, they'll ask you for a deposit. Also, be informed that some rooms do not have air conditioner, and it is kind of hot in Mexico City.

Home away from Home.

Great Breakfast and Excellent location. Hotel provided everything needed for stay. And close by to many markets and bars and clubs. Also if you have a chance visit Lucerna it's a spot where you can get drinks and all kinds of food options, sample a little of everything. You won't regret your stay there. We also rented a car and the hotel offered free parking for us.

Decent hotel in a good neighborhood

If you need Wi-Fi, this is not the hotel for you. It is unworkable in the rooms, and barely functional in the lobby, which at times was full of guests trying to get a connection. It was also annoying that they seem to deactivate room keys/cards every single day, requiring daily visits to the front desk to get it fixed. Location is good in terms of being centrally-located and having many amenities, but if you want to use public transportation, it's a long walk to any Metro (Subway) station.

No A/C, no Fridge, the whole hotel is leaning to the west . Not joking. A remnant of the last earth-quake. Highly dangerous. Breakfast nothing special, no jam on the last day ( doesnt matter,was terrible jam). So noisy you can not sleep. Either door-banging guests or stomping and trampling from thebother floors.
Really bad. TV only 15 inches...just forget about this place.

Nice hotel For the cost.

Tried to rent a car from airport. Out $75 rental now became $480. Alamo would not accept our worldwide coverage with our visa. We declined. Hotel is in zone 3, so we hired a CDMX taxi and it was only 200 pesos ($10) to hotel. So we used the metro. All was fine til we were in area of the Bellas Artes where our son had his wallet stolen from his front picket on the metro. Keep your hand on your wallet, guys! Metro is 5 pesos (25 cents) for as far as you want to go, even with transfers, as long as you don't leave the station.
Our last day we got up to leave after eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant and my purse was missing. We had been sitting close to the counter with a woman worker watching the restaurant. It was a secluded area and the restaurant was not busy. I asked for the manager and the police. We were shown the video from the security camera and I could see 2 women enter, pause, and head straight for our table. My son was on my left and my husband sitting across from me. They stopped behind me and with the woman watching proceeded to steal my purse. There was no way they saw my purse from the entryway. I strongly feel that a staff member (probably the young male waiter at the counter also) called someone and informed them of my purse hanging on my chair and where we were sitting. If the woman had been hostessing this wouldn't have happened! She would be seating people as they came in.

We have to check out a day early

The bellmen and the bartender were nice, however the lady at the front desk looks upset all the time, looked bothered every time I asked a question (no, not a language barrier-I speak Spanish); breakfast is included, it's a good deal, but we would rather go out because of the BAD SERVICE, servers will not acknowledge you and they will have a very bad attitude. Don't expect a refill on your coffee or any follow up after your food is dropped to your table. Do they think we are not goit to tip, so why should the severs bother? It feels like the hotel management is pinching so many pennies they forgot what hospitality is. We asked for two cups of ice one night, but were told by the bartender he could only spare enough ice for one. You have to re-activate your room card everyday, otherwise you're locked out of your room. You have to pay for A/C and wait for someone to come up to your room and switch it on. You have to pay for a TV remote. Forget about towels..2 days with out it, if you ask for it either you get ignored or get the bad atitude of the front desk telling you they won't have any towels until the next day and you will have nothing to dry yourself, not even your hands .... however they are really attentive if someone visits you-if it's late they'll make sure to let you know you will be charged for the extra person.

My stay at Hotel Premier was short; I arrived late at night and left early in the morning. The room was clean and had comfortable beds; however, I have a couple of observations: 1. There were no electrical outlets near the bed or night stands; I had to string an extension cord clear across the room for overnight electrical service. 2. Only bath towels were provided, no hand towels, and no wash-cloths.

A good choice if you want to be close to the Ciudad de Mexico downtown... so many places to go around... you can use a taxi or rent a bike (temporary rental) for 1,3 or 5 days...so you're always at the right place.

1. Las personas del Mostrador tienen un terrible servicio al cliente, no ayudan en nada, son abusivos, es decir, que no puedes esperar ningún tipo de ayuda por parte de ellos.

you get what you pay for...

you can feel the hotel foundation slant as you walk the hallway to your room probably because of the mexico city earthquake a few years back or the fact that the city is naturally sinking. The location however was great, and was walking distance to many key landmarks. Price of the hotel, however was extremely affordable.

NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK SPOKE ANY ENGLISH. NONE, NADA, NEIN.
VERY DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO CONVEY ANY NEED, (I. e. call a taxi,
wake up call, problem in the room, like can't work the safe). Absolutely no
comprehension whatsoever. Nice little restaurant, but they also have no English
so can't even understand coffee is cold. Better know some Spanish.
Expedia needs to find a hotel where there is some reasonable English at front desk.

We have a lot of problems with towels, they didn´t have enough. I booked seven rooms because I travel with my family and we all have troubles with towels. The breakfast service is quite slow, food could be better and cleanness too. Having lunch or dinner at the restaurant is not a good idea.

quaint, pretty modern, great location

It was perfect for what I needed and price was awesome for location. One downfall.. a friend stopped by to say hello and I said come up and they did not allow that. To me that seemed strange as when travelling my hotel room is my home away from home and I would have preferred us hanging out in my \"home\" then having to drive aroubd to find a place to hang out late at night. He was working and got out of work late.

Hotels room bathrooms are dirty, bed bugs, check in-out staff and restaurant staff rude, NO laundry service as stated on website.

Awful Service

We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! The internet is minimal, the service at front desk & restaurant was awful, there is no laundry service as they indicate on website & there is construction that doesn't let u sleep... To top it all off there was BEDBUGS!! We were a large group & more than half of the adults & kids were bitten :(
