No breakfast offerings during our stay. Coffee was available. There were two restaurants in the downtown area for breakfast. We stayed in the old inn portion of the hotel. Temperatures varied during our stay. The only air conditioning was a window unit which was noisy! The heating was spotty. The bathroom never warmed up. If i stayed again I’d opt for the newer section of the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay. It was quiet at night, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. I was slightly surprised that the bar stopped serving at 9pm but the bar tender was gracious in pouring an ale for me even though they had just closed.

We like Historic so this was perfect for us. It is a 300 year old building. If you want a modern room-stay in their new addition. Our room was perfect and it was used as the \"morgue\" during the Revolution. It is supposed to be haunted but we didn't see and ghosts-sadly. LOL. The staff were very professional, helpful yet quite friendly. We would stay here again. The food in the dining room is excellent.

There is plenty of things to do outside of the hotel. The town has cute little shops and a great breakfast place. Lots of historical sights. Where the Revolutionary War battles took place in Concord to grave sites.

This hotel is in the middle of Concord historic district, so it’s a great location for sightseeing and walking around shopping or eating. It’s a very charming and historic old building, so the rooms/bathrooms are small and staircases are steep and narrow, and no elevator. The parking is free in the back, but it is difficult to get the entrance. There is a restaurant on the first floor, so very convenient to enjoy lunch and dinner. The staff are friendly and we got free bottles of water when we checked in, so I made coffee in the room. My room was facing a busy road, so the speeding cars made me wake up at night.

Not a very clean place. The tub was peeling, and the corners were not clean. The room smelled like men's cologne. The room was situated along the main road and the vehicles were loud. The heat: the heat was up so high I thought I was going to freak out. I was unable to adjust the temperature, so had to turn on the A/C and put that on 68F. It was so hot that I became very thirsty. The man who was working late-night at the desk got angry at me when I asked him if I could get a cup of ice water he had in a pitcher. He growled that it was HIS water and he had just taken a sip out of the pitcher without using a glass. Very awkward! I told him I was all set, then he told me I could buy a bottled water from the fridge by the front desk. I wouldn't have needed the water if it wasn't so hot in the room! Restaurant: I got the Butternut Squash Bisque, and it was devoid of flavor. I appreciated the wonderful friendly service of the younger workers who were there during the daytime hours at check-in, and check-out. I have to confess that staying here gave me no comfort at all during my travels. Other suggestions: have a list of local events and things to do for guests! I truly wish I could say better things about this stay since I was really looking forward to it.

It was unfortunate breakfast is not served M-F. A coffee machine in the lobby just isn’t quite what I would’ve expected. We are regular guests at the Publick House Inn in Sturbridge, probably staying there 4 times each year as we travel back and forth between Ohio and Maine. The Professional staff, cleanliness, and supplied soaps, shampoo, and lotion are the only things in common. I will definitely make the Publick House Inn our continued choice. The bakery onsite alone is worth an extra drive.

This is a historical property. Thus is does not have an ELEVATOR to the 2nd and 3rd floors which is incredibly difficult for those of us that don't do stair or carrying heavy objects like luggage up stairs. In addition, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are small and the shower is smaller than some cruise ships or RVs I've been in. But the history is everywhere! In addition, there is inadequate parking for the number of guests this property can accommodate.

Never rent directly from this hotel - You will pay a minimum $60 more than if you went through a third party app. Expect to be warm during your stay unless it's the middle of summer, as the hotel pretends their air conditioning units are \"out of order.\" I stayed in two separate rooms on consecutive nights, and both cooling units had the same \"out of order sign.\" It's a lie. Also, the room had a dysfunctional security lock on the door, to which housekeeping claimed that the latch lock was all they have at their hotel after a failed attempt to fix the dead bolt. If you stay at this place, expect the restaurants and tavern to be full of locals. If you wish to eat from the restaurant or visit the bar, you will need either a reservation or arrive at the tavern very early. Your love of history should be high if you're going to stay here. Otherwise, expect frustrations and high prices.

This is an old place -- duh. It is charming, perfect, literally perfect location to explore the awesome town of Concord (Its right out the front door) KInda old and tired, but makes up in charm. I wish I would have known that the back door to the bar/stage was going to be across the hall from my room as the band was loud on Friday and Saturday nights. Other than that -- lovely and perfectly situated.

Staying in the Historic Inn makes the quirks fade away. We've stayed in the main house and the basement annex when we travel with our dog. The main Inn is preferable but I appreciate the dog friendly option.

Our room was an incredible value! The location of the hotel couldn’t be beat. While we couldn’t take full advantage of all that Concord had to offer, we certainly hope to during future stays! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The receptionists, kitchen staff, and snow crew specifically went above and beyond to ensure our stay during the blizzard was comfortable. After I asked if there was a microwave available for me to make oatmeal for my 1 year old daughter, the kitchen (which was closed for breakfast that day) staff insisted on delivering eggs, toast, and hot chocolate to our room, and so graciously! If I hadn’t stopped them, I think they would have included a four course meal on the house! We had a lovely lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant later that day too. Snow crews worked diligently to plow and shovel out all of the cars from the hotel lot in what seemed like record time. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We only wish we had a couple more days to enjoy.

Because of snow storm, they let us check in early. We had dinner in hotel which was delicious and convenient. The most outstanding thing was all cars in the parking lot were cleared around and each car, besides snow plowing the lot completely.
Very impressive considering the 20 inches of snow.

Only draw back is the heater in the room was quite loud, as it kicked in to maintain heat throughout night. If you are a light sleeper, it can be hard to sleep through.

Don’t go in room 3 in the winter. It was 55 degrees with the thermostat on 90 and the front desks solution was to offer more blankets. If you want a cheap motel with a colonial flare, you’ve found it!

The room was very clean. We were in a pet-friendly room so it was away from the main part of the Inn. We really just went to our room and never saw anyone. It was a little annoying that when I went to the front desk at about 9:30 pm to ask for 2 bottles of water since none had been put in our room, the older gentleman said they only had 1 bottle and didn't offer to get another bottle.

A nice visit. The historic aspect added to the overall stay. There is a lot of interesting trivia to browse. Our room was in the back over the delivery entrance and was very loud at 5am. No breakfast during the week in spite of several large serving areas but there's good options close by.

Room had no artwork. Bare walls View of the roof. Bed not comfortable. Only thing good about this place is location and a nice bar. Front desk people are not cordial at all. Act like they hate their jobs. I really do t understand this place. It’s like the management is completely out to lunch. Customer service except in tavern is nonexistent. I’ve been here 5 x in a year and not once ever greeted as a return customer. Why do I keep going back? No other good options and bar is great as is Main Street in concord for shopping etc.

I love historic properties so this one was especially delightful close to so many sites of interest. Love the decor and all the Americana, with the history comes older facilities but if you can get past that it’s wonderful to stay in a charming original place. I especially enjoyed the dining options and decor- completed visit with a “shot heard round the world” shot glass for sale at the front desk! Great friendly staff as well.

Had specifically booked a room in the historic part of the inn but when I got there they didn't have any. But they did upgrade me to a suite! Very clean, comfortable bed. Check in employee was scrolling on his cell phone and ignored me and another guest so not super attentive. They do have free coffee in the lobby from one of those automated espresso machines. Location is terrific - you can walk everywhere.

The Inn was beautifully decorated with colonial furnishings
& lovely atmosphere. Our room was on the lower level just next to parking lot. It was very noisy at night when the workers came on to do laundry. They were loud equipment was banging on walls outside our room. They were.not considerate of guests resting or sleeping. Also, the room was not cleaned or towels changed or bed made. We stayed for two nights I was told they were trying a new system to conserve costs.

The room was small. Noise from water pipes and parking/delivery. Limited parking for small cars. This is way more $$$ than our typical stays, not our crowd. Historic hotel... do some research first. It is convenient to the historic sites in the area.
