The host is incredibly friendly and cleans the room daily. Although the outdoor area is somewhat cluttered, the space is kept clean. He assisted us in finding a trustworthy taxi driver who charged fair rates and generously lent us beach equipment at no cost.

This was a great place to stay, location was great , parking was easy and the beach was less than a 3 minute walk away. Andreas is amazing, he makes an awesome Turkish coffee and recommended some great places to eat, places to visit. This place was low pressure and it was a perfect place to relax. The pool was perfect and the vibe was chill. I even met some great travelers who had been here before.

I had such a wonderful time in this space! It was clean and so lovely and very family centered. It was very close to the beach and easy access to the bus stop to go to old town. The host are some of the nicest people I ever met! I really enjoyed my stay.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elma's Dream Apartments. The owners are very kind and helpful, the food is excellent and there's a nice swimming pool. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed having a large patio at our entrance! We hope to return in the future!

Amazing place!

Love this place! The apartments are clean and functional and the air con works perfect. The resort is nice and small and there is always room around the pool.

Andreas and his family are very attentive and eager to help if they can - they printed all our covid paperwork for our return trip without charge.

Great location 15 minutes from Chania old town by bus (number 21 bus). Beach is a stone's throw away too.

Second year coming here and just as good. We have a different apartment this time but it is equally well equipped.

Aircon works well and there is a nice area out the front of the apartment with tables and chairs.

Service is great as usual, and the pool is perfect!

Quiet, Comfortable, Nice and Small

Wow, what a place. Tucked out of the way but just 5 minutes walk from an amazing beach, within 2 minutes of a bus stop (take bus 21 to get in to Chania) and supermarkets right outside the complex.

We took the Maisonette apartment, which has a bedroom, bathroom (with shower) and balcony upstairs, kitchenette (with Hob, Grill and Oven and Fridge), 2 sofas/beds and TV downstairs. Outside is a small seating area.

Fully working Air Conditioning both upstairs and downstairs.

The pool is not too big but very deep and warm. Small bar where you can buy a range of drinks and snacks - at reasonable prices.

Andreas and his Wife are excellent!

Cleaners cleaned every day.

I cannot fault this place and look forward to visiting again.

We had a great 8 night stay. The staff were very friendly, it’s in a great location and we were lucky to have an apartment with 2 balconies, one for the morning sun and one for the afternoon. The place was cleaned to a very high standard.

Great little family run apartment hotel. We felt comfortable and safe there. Our little kitchen was great for breakfast and to make morning coffee. There was a nice eating area, patio and living room. We only put our feet in the pool but it was nice too. The host was so nice and welcoming and offered great advice on the area. We walked to the old city each day.

We had a great time. The location is near Chania, however far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. Lots of parking and nice pool available. Good value for money. The beach is super near and very nice. 24x7 grocery available within 300m walk and some nice bakeries also.

Great apartments, new looking building, clean and tidy. Rooms are spacious, clean and pretty modern. Everything you need is there. The beach was closer than I thought it will be- literally 2-3min walk and sandy beach is at your feet. And there are few amazing beaches near by (ie iguana beach)
Staff always with the smile and very helpful of you need anything.
Close to Chania town and supermarkets.
Would be staying again.

From first to last moment this was a wonderful stay in a delightful studio apartment. Everything that I needed was provided in the apartment.

I stayed at Elmer's for 3 nights and was made to feel most welcome by Andreas.The hotel had a good pool and sun loungers and the studio apartment was really good value.It was quiet at night apart from the sound of waves crashing against the shore reminding one of how close the beach was.I would return without hesitation.

Very Pleasant Relaxing Stay

Was very pleasantly surprised with this place. It's very well run and an excellent deal for a two floor townhouse with balcony. The atmosphere was great. It was a perfect location for me being quiet and secluded yet close to everything. 3 minute walk to the beach. Just before the beach there's a nice dirt walking/bike path which runs along the coast. There's a convenience store, grocery store and outdoor cafe/restaurant just next to the property. Very family friendly and perfect environment for kids.

It's more of a family oriented small resort. The pool (rather small) has always kids and teenagers jumping and playing.
The apartment was spacious and had 2 floors. However, both Air Conditioning units (which are old) were not working which made it unbearable by night. We did mention this to Andreas on Sunday morning, but we had to wait until Monday night to have them fixed because he can't find someone to fix it on a Sunday.

In a boiling hot weather, this stay was ruined by not being able to sleep well without AC's.

Only thing that was missing was a toaster.

5-10 minute drive into Chania center.
There was a bus stop just outside, I presume this goes to the center too.

Pool was great, diving board was a lot of fun.

Nice apartments in a great location

The beds were very comfy, the staff polite and the area great. Apartments were cleaned regularly and good size. Not far from Chania centre and a regular bus service there. Beach 3 min walk away and a few to choose from. The only thing that we marked down was the reception area, it was untidy and had lots of toys/things around. It really needs to be organised to make a good first impression. It may have been because it was the school holidays.Overall, if we returned to Chania again, we would return for sure.

We stayed at Elmas Dream apartments in April arriving to worst weather in 40 years. The warm welcome we received helped us get through the storm. The staff were helpful and friendly, very personable in approach. The apartment complex is very well run, bright and clean and only minutes from the beach and shops. Chania is accessible in by bus or taxi.

Nice little hotel

It's a nice little hotel. It is near a decent beach, and is a pretty short cab ride to Chania Old Town, but isn't really close to anything. Andreas goes out of his way to make things as easy and comfortable as possible.

There is a nice little kitchen, and some markets nearby, so you can handle some meals that way. Overall, it is a good value for the money, but is not anything fancy.

Fantastic welcome and service from the owners

We only booked for 3 nights but after the first day we booked for the whole week and returned for the last 3 nights of our holiday. The owner, Andreas as very welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate our needs and even helped us find an apartment in the South of Crete, overall exceptional treatment. Perfect for a family holiday, ideal to do with the little ones too, as we had our 14 months old son. Highly recommended.

Perfect for the family!

We had a great trip (for me and my 4 boys aged 4-12). The owner was able to provide us clear directions on how to drive to the hotel from the airport (less than 30 minutes). Parking was available right outside. The room (one queen bed in the bedroom and then single beds in the living room) was very clean and comfortable. The family-friendly beach was a short walk away and it was fantastic -- the sand was soft and water blue. Based on the owner's helpful recommendation, we drove to a nearby gyro place that everyone enjoyed. In the afternoon, we played in the hotel pool, which the kids loved (it had a small shallow area for the younger kids connected to the rest of the pool). In the evening, it was a short drive to the city center. All in all, a perfect place for our visit to Chania. Our only regret is that we left too soon, but we'll be back!

great hotel for value !

Firstlyni never take the time tonwrite reviews for hotels but i felt this place deserving. This hotel was more than we expected, we were two couples staying in 2 rooms and we were all very pleased with everything. The rooms were spacious and had seperate bedroom and living room. It was more like a 1 bedroom apartment! Great hosts very pleasent experience. We stayed in another hotel for twice the price and wished we had stayed here longer. If you want to support the economy i would recommend staying in a family run hotel like elmas versus a hotel chain you will have a superior experience.

Great hotel for an affordable family holiday

Hotel is clean but basic, as you would expect from the price. Ideal location if you prefer to be by the beach but want to be able to get to Chania old town easily. Also close to supermarkets and a few small bars and restaurants.

We hebben begin oktober een heerlijke week gehad bij Elma’s Dream Apartments. Het appartement was zeer ruim, met een groot terras waar de hele dag zon op stond – perfect om te ontspannen. Alles was schoon en goed onderhouden, al is het geheel wat gedateerd van stijl.

De gastheer Andreas en zijn vrouw waren buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden een klein incident tijdens ons verblijf, en Andreas heeft ons fantastisch geholpen – echte Griekse gastvrijheid!

De voorzieningen zijn uitstekend: goede airco, oven, koelkast/vriezer, sterke wifi en dagelijks schone handdoeken. Het bed lag heerlijk en de lakens waren fris. De badkamer is wat klein en de douche heeft geen harde straal, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem.

De ligging is top: een paar minuten lopen naar een prachtig zandstrand met blauwe vlag, waar je voor een klein bedrag ligbedden kunt huren. Via het strand kun je zelfs helemaal naar Chania lopen.

Kortom: uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en een plek waar we zeker graag nog eens terugkomen.

Viihtyisä pieni apartementoshotelli. Kotoisa fiilis kun kaikki oli helposti lähellä. Andreas on erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias. Huone oli siisti ja kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Ihan vieressä on ruokakauppa ja rannallekin lyhyt kävely. Hotellista saa tilattua ruokaa myös.
Hotellin uima-allas oli syvä, mutta lapsille oma pieni alue.
Rennolla ja hyvällä otteella hoidettu kokonaisuus.
Iso suositus jos isot hotellikompleksit ei kiinnosta.

Cozy, relax, lovely place. Big recommendation if you are looking something else than big hotel chain. Andreas is very polite, helpful and has great sense of humor. The room was clean and there was everything you needed. Nice pool area. And the beach and supermarkets are very close.
We stayed only three nights but Im sure we'll come back some day.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable !

Un grand merci à Andreas pour son accompagnement du début à la fin : toujours disponible, réactif et de bon conseil, il a su répondre à toutes nos questions et nous proposer des solutions efficaces dès que nous en avons eu besoin.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé : à seulement deux minutes à pied de la plage, avec un arrêt de bus à proximité ainsi qu’un supermarché, ce qui est très pratique au quotidien.
La piscine est superbe, bien entretenue et suffisamment profonde pour les nageurs.

Nous avons vraiment pu nous détendre et profiter pleinement de cette semaine de vacances. Tout était réuni pour un séjour reposant et agréable.

Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés, et reviendrons sans hésiter si l’occasion se présente !

Ihana perheyritys! Huoneet ja yleiset tilat siistejä ja remontoituja, paikkaa todella pidetään rakkaudella. Yrittäjäpariskunta on sydämellinen ja he todella tekivät kaikkensa viihtyvyytemme eteen. Esimerkiksi aamupalasta saimme itse esittää toiveita, mitä haluaisimme syödä. Sijainti oli todella hyvä, lähin minimarket muutaman minuutin kävelyn päässä, samoin kuin Golden Beach. Vanhaankaupunkiin tai keskustan suunnille pääsi kätevästi bussilla. Kaiken kaikkiaan ihana paikka.

Mahtava majoitus!

Olimme viikon lomalla kahden pienen lapsen kanssa ja olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä majoitukseen!
Huoneisto oli siisti, hyväkuntoinen ja hyvin varusteltu.
Omistaja oli todella ystävällinen ja avulias. Oli myös erityisen mukavaa, että saapuessamme myöhään illalla, oli hän vielä ottamassa vastaan ja valmisti meille iltapalan.

Pihapiiri oli turvallinen ja viihtyisä, mikä oli lasten kannalta iso plussa. He saivat touhuta ulkona huoletta, ja piha oli siisti ja varjoisa, mikä teki siitä miellyttävän paikan myös aikuisille seurata lasten leikkejä.

We hadden een uitstekend verblijf bij Andreas. Een gastvrij echtpaar runt het complex. Er is een fijn zwembad, een mini market met verse broodjes op nog geen 100 meter en het mooie zand strand is op loopafstand. Je kunt ook ontbijten en dineren bij het appartement.

Rauhallinen ja kodikas huoneistohotelli. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Vain 100 metriä rannalle ja pieni kauppa nurkan takana. Sopii erityisen hyvin lapsiperheille ja niille jotka kaipaavat rauhaa. Bussi vanhaan kaupunkiin menee myös ihan läheltä. Isompia marketteja vartin kävelymatkan päässä. Huoneistossa oli hyvin varusteltu keittiö ja jääkaappi, joten oma kokkailu onnistuu.

Helt forfærdelig oplevelse. Værelset var der ikke noget galt med, det var pænt og rent. Men hele natten er jeg blevet vækket af folk der råbte, skændtes og bankede på min dør. Det er bestemt ikke betryggende når man rejser alene.

Horrible séjour, à fuir !

Accueil glacial par la gérante qui me fusille du regard pensant que je n’ai pas lu les 10 panneaux à l’entrée signalant que l’entrée est réservé aux clients.
Logement en duplex alors que j’avais demandé de ne pas avoir d’escalier à l’intérieur à cause du danger pour mon bébé de 18 mois et qu’on m’avait bien assuré par mail 1 mois et demi avant que ma demande était prise en compte et que je n’aurais pas d’escalier… !
ODEUR nauséabonde et omniprésente de CIGARETTE, c’était invivable !
SALE à l’arrivée : touche de cheveux et insectes/toiles d’araignées/escargots dans la salle de bain, poils sur les wc, lentille de contact par terre dans la chambre… et aucun ménage pendant 8 nuits ! Juste les poubelles vidées et les serviettes/draps changés quelques fois.
Pas de lumière dans la SDB puisque la fenêtre est ensevelie sous les plantes.
Par contre réveillé tous les matins avec le lever du soleil car il n’y aucun volet à la fenêtre qui se situe au niveau de la tête de lit !
Pas de wifi ni même de réseau à l’étage.
Bref, horrible expérience, à fuir !!!

Nous n'y avons séjourné que 3 jours mais nous avons passé un très bon moment. Pas de parking privé mais des places sont accessibles à proximité (grand parking gratuit ouvert).

L'entrée de l'appart'hôtel est un peu caché (petite riel pour y accéder. Le bâtiment est à 2 pas de la plage et à 15 minutes en voiture du centre de Chania.
Côté apparemment, nous avons eu la bonne surprise d'être surclassé.
Le studio était très propre et très fonctionnel côté cuisine.
Quelques restrictions au niveau des horaires pour la piscine pour cause sanitaire qui ne nous ont pas vraiment fait défaut. Des serviettes nous ont été prêtée pour la baignade.

NIce and cosy hotel, 2min walk to fabulous beach!

Great small hotel near Chrissi akti beach. This beach is fabulous, shallow and 2 chairs with umbrellas only 7e (June-19). Couple supermarkets and tavernas in walking distance. The kids loved pool - kids section for toddlers and bigger section with nice spot to jump to pool!

Very easy to communicate with Andreas before vacation. He arranged taxi (and the key for us in the middle of night 2am) and check-in was easy next morning. We had few issues (some bugs in bathroom) but that was fixed immediatly. Warmly recommend!

Henkilökunta erittäin iloista ja avuliasta. Huoneet siistejä ja mukavia. Siisti uima-allas alue. Todella hyvää ruokaa mm. kreikkalainen salaatti ja valkosipulileivät ja erittin hyvää olutta.

Ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer, ein schöner sauberer Pool, ein grosszügiges Zimmer und eine gute ruhige Lage. Alles zu empfehlen!!

Fantastisk beliggenhed og fantastisk personale

Fantastisk beliggenhed, tæt på strand og et lille supermarked lige ved siden af. Meget venlige ejere af stedet. Serverer dejlig kold øl fra et lokalt bryggeri. Dejlig smag. Værelset jeg fik var rummelig og manglede intet. Positivt overrasket. Vil helt sikker anbefale dette sted
