An absolute gem. The private beach is much nicer than the photos, perfect for snorkelling, the two pools are great and all the amenities kept in great condition. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff always friendly. It’s probably the best hotel anywhere near this price, fully recommend!

Stunning. We had one of our best holidays here, the pool area overlooking the beach is just beautiful, with an infinity pool that was really quiet throughout our stay. Sunset from the restaurant was out of this world. Room was huge, given an apartment with a cooker and lounge area. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, especially Yota on the front desk who helped organise a tour to a beautiful lagoon. The two men working the pool bar were great too. Lovely local area with easy bus links, great food everywhere you go, lovely trinket shops and lovely wildlife around. We even saw turtle hatchlings run into the sea. 10/10.

We spent a very enjoyable 3 days here. The hotel is on the shoreline with a wonderful sandy beach a few minutes walk away. Chania old town is a 25 minute bus ride away with cheap frequent buses from pretty much outside the hotel.

The room was kept very tidy and clean. The pool area is fantastic, though a bit small for the number of guests when the hotel is fully booked. Bus stop, convenience stores and good places to eat are at close walking distance. If you rent a car, they have parking. Staff at the front desk was very helpful with booking tours and providing directions and recommendations. Great beach for the family at close walking distance. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel. Room was kept spotlessly clean, and very comfortable bed. Friendly staff but not intrusive. Food and drink very reasonably priced, comparable to local restaurants etc. Beautiful clear and clean swimming pools. Lovely pebble beach area, with rocky ocean access via steps. Perfect for snorkeling, though take beach shoes. Sandy beach few minutes walk from hotel if preferred. Most amazing sunset views from hotel every day. Bus stop just outside for easy 20-30 minute inexpensive ride into Chania old town. A handful of nice shops, supermarkets and restaurants within short walking distance.

Corinna Mare is THE BEST! We had an absolutely idyllic stay for 10 days. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful---they arranged rental cars and taxis for us, gave us great recommendations, and were super friendly and warm. The food in the restaurant is DIVINE and the sunbathing set up was ideal. We LOVED IT here. Highly recommend.

The reception staff are exceptional . Helpful and easy to commincate with. The hotel is In a good spot for the bus into.Chania too. Buses run really.frequently. A shop opposite the hotel , which we found very useful. Wine food bus tickets etc. In all a lovely place to.stay.

The stay here was amazing. A few days before getting there I was emailed and asked for my expected arrival time. The room was immaculate and cleaned daily by the lovely staff. I had a balcony with partial view. The hotel has an amazing view of the sea with both pools over looking it. Also the bar and restaurant are located by the pools too, so we spent many evenings chilled out having either a pre drink before heading out or night cap on return. Also the food here was great, I loved the chicken and couscous, the Corinna salad and a side of air fried zucchini slices. It was perfection 👌

Also the location was amazing too, only a 15 minute drive into Chania old town. And if you like running its about a mile to run to Iguana beach where i would then go for a morning swim. Exactly what i needed. I will definitely be returning to Corinna Mare.

The 12 euro breakfast was an excellent value, and their restaurant was very good. There was convenient, on-site parking. The staff was very helpful . The Corinna del Mare is a wonderful property and a great value!

Fantastic location for young families that want to relax by the pool / pebbled beach. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor. Very small tvs and old style coffee filter. Might benefit from a small upgrade to nespresso and slightly better entertainment system. But these are minor issues. If you have an ocean view suite, you can spend lots of happy hours on the balcony enjoying a book. Chania old town is also very close .

Great little hotel.

Only regret was that I didn’t stay longer (opted to spend an extra day in Heraklion to make my departure more convenient). Great private beach to watch the sunset - absolutely beautiful and very positive stay overall.

Staff was friendly and helpful and shows the owners care.

It’s hike to Chania (walk was about 1.5hrs to the old town on day one) but there is a bus stop right across the street that takes you right downtown in 20mins for less than 2 euros.

The only knock on the place is that breakfast wasnt included (it was available for purchase which I did try once - just a little too pricy for me).

Would definitely looks to return if ever in Chania.

Great place for holiday. Parking is very easy if you rent a car. Restaurants all close by. Grocery store across the street, and another corner store down the road. Dinner at the hotel is great. Beach is all rocks but absolutely lovely to relax at. Would recommend.

Such a hidden gem, with a superb location on the beach. Great to relax by the pool and order delicious food and drinks. Great for couples or families
Restaurant was picturesque, looking over the pool and ocean. We enjoyed dining here often for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We loved the location and were only a short drive to other beaches and wineries that we wanted to visit. Parking is offered complimentary in a locked parking lot and was very convenient.

The location was ideal. Just 30min from Chania airport. Swift and clear communication from all staff. Friendly staff. Staff organise tours and taxi and nothing is too much trouble. Perfect layout having the restaurant and two swimming pools 3meters from sunloungers by the sea. Beautiful bay with loads of different fish and lovely to swim in. We will definitely return.

A lovely hotel with a resort like feel! It is very well kept and the pool with the ocean view is amazing. We ended up spending a lot more of our time here than planned to explore due to loving it so much.

Just a heads up, I’ve never gone back to a front desk to check out, usually the keys can be left in the room. We had to leave at 5am to catch our flight and were in the parking lot and had a man approach our window while we were heads down which scared us a bit, turns out it was front desk and he was asking where the keys are and stating we didn’t follow the rules to check out. This was never made clear so just be aware to do that! I won’t let one individuals odd behaviour ruin the review or experience though.

Only downside is the pools both close by 7:45pm, would be nice if they had one pool at least open a little later for those warm nights.
Yiota from reception was absolutely lovely. So helpful with recommendations and organising car hire for us.

We had a lovely stay. Everything was really clean. Staff friendly. Good air conditioning. Pools great. View was nice and location good. Hotel arranged our airport transfer which were great and on time. They also gave us information about buses and local area.
Two negatives. Kitchen was very dated and small. Also only place to boil kettle or use toaster was on sink right next to the taps or hob which was part of draining board. The beach was disappointing as only stone and sea only accessible by ladder which was no good for 3 year old grandson. Also very rocky with big rocks. The beach next door was great and only cost €10 per day for 2 sunbeds and umbrella and water there shallow for quite a way in. Would return to hotel but book different room as others updated.

Highly recommend Corinna Mare!
Amazing location overlooking the sea, two pools (one predominantly used by adults) and a second pool used by children.
The restaurant and breakfast are both excellent and reasonably priced.
Our return flight back to the UK was cancelled by EasyJet overnight, my first thought was to call Corinna Mare and see if they had a room. They were incredibly accommodating and understanding.
Wouldn’t think twice about going back!

It was great location and stay but the only complaint was that the adult only pool closed at 6pm, and the kids pool closed around 7:30. They said this was because the resteraunt was serving dinner. This was sort of annoying since i want to swim in the early evening after coming back from being away from the hotel doing other activities during the day. It was still very warm and there were over two hours of sun after the pool closed.

Other than that though it was a great place and we had an amazing time in Crete.

The room although clean is a bit dated. The breakfast and lunch is mediocre although the dinner was fantastic (think they have a different chef). People working there incredibly kind and attentive. I'm going to keep this short. THE POSITIVES
The exterior of the property near the restaurant, outdoor bar, and pool areas were very clean.
The breakfast buffet was amazing.
The front desk was helpful in getting taxicabs to go exploring.
THE NEGATIVES
The bugs. The owners decided not to put screens on the windows. Mosquitos and flies were horrible. No such thing as opening your windows for fresh sea air.
2 days in a row I had GIANT cockroaches in my room. I had to be moved to a different room after the 2nd day of cockroaches.
Lunch/snack and dinner menu never changes and is ok but not great.
THERE'S NO BEACH. There are rocks, no sand.
After being moved to a different room I realized how inferior the first room was compared to the 2nd one. I feel like I was taken advantage of.
There are many other places to stay on Crete. I would suggest looking at other places.

The place was great overall, well located in a quite area with nice access to the sea. The common areas were well maintained as well as the rooms were clean and comfortable. Just one point of feedback is that the appartments with kitchen are not fully equiped, there are some essentials missing such as a frying pan and proper cutting knives and there is no microwave.

Property was very clean with two excellent pools. There were also lots of sunbeds both next to the pool and facing the sea (private beach but beach is filled with pebbles and rocks- so not the sandy type). The hotel had a great view of the sunset which can be seen very easily from the sunbeds. We had breakfast every morning and had dinner once. Both were amazing. Menu was small but this just meant all the foods were cooked fresh and tasted amazing.

Rooms, showers etc were all clean and spacious with balconies. We got a room with a city view so the view was just facing the building opposite so I would recommend getting a Seaview (though the price of city view was very cheap). Free beach towels were also provided which was great. Also fast free Wi-Fi.

If you walk along the coast towards Chania - you can access 3/4 beaches within 20 min walking distance. All excellent beaches. There is grocery store across the street, but it was very overpriced. Would recommend going to one of the bigger stores like Lidl or local supermarket that are within walking distance. Was disappointed with the restaurant options nearby- nothing else was that exceptional. Would recommend going into Chania since there are lots of good options there. There is a bus that comes by every hour- ask reception about bus timetables because information online seems outdated.

The staff at Corinna Mare was incredibly friendly and so helpful the entire stay, especially Katerina! The hotel has great amenities and a beautiful view. Rooms were clean and the breakfast buffet was great (we didn’t dine at the hotel for dinner). There is a couple other hotels and a convenience store/ bakery beside so I’d recommend renting a car if you’re looking to explore Crete. Overall an amazing stay, and we’d stay again!

La struttura è stupenda con grandiosa location. Il ristorante della struttura favoloso. La vista dalla nostra suite fronte mare era meravigliosa.
L’interno della stanza ha bisogno di una rimodernata, mobili ed alcune strutture, il bagno era scomodo, la porta non si apriva tutta perchè il lavabo era proprio di fronte, riuscivi ad entrare ed a chiudere la porta. La doccia non ha porta ed è stretta, quindi l’acqua finiva dappertutto. Ma nonostante tutto 5 stelle su 5. Caterina, la receptionist è stata favolosa, super simpatica e disponibilissima. Spero di rivederla in Sicilia.

I liked everything and every person that worked there. A fantastic staff. Felt extremely comfortable. The restaurant, on the premises, was an excellent place for breakfast and dinner and prices were good. Clean, neat and tidy. Pool area was superb and so was the small beach on the sea.

The guy in the reception from Saturday night to Sunday morning is the best. We arrived late and hungry. He did a superb service to ensure we don’t go sleep hungry. You have to give more of him that goes above and beyond

We loved our stay at this property, the staff were very friendly, especially Katerina on reception who was wonderful with our little boy. Our room was street view, not the best of views but the road was not too busy so didn''t bother us, balcony was large & caught the sun. The apartment was spacious, modern & clean. Property is right on the sea front with an amazing view from restaurant & pool area, breakfast was reasonable price & very nice, lovely beach 2 min walk away. Highly recommend if your visiting the area.

We had a sea view apartment and wow what a sea view it was! Beautiful! The apartment was a good size with a comfortable bathroom big King bed. The pools were clean but a bit too cold to swim in for us. The on site restaurant serves great food and the breakfast is bargain at 10€ - a really good choice of fruit, youghurt, cereals, breads, pasteurised etc and freshly cooked eggs and bacon.
The staff were all super friendly and the ground were great well kept.
It had a charming, personal feel to the small complex and was a chilled vibe.

Perfect hotel for a peaceful, scenic stay

We stayed late October and we enjoyed our time here. The hotel’s location is in a quiet spot but it’s perfect for those looking for a relaxing holiday, and there were just enough shops and restaurants nearby. The Chania old town was an hour walk away, but we walked there on 3 separate occasions as it’s a lovely walk route. The hotel’s staff are very warm and friendly and the Corinna Star restaurant made amazing food that we could not fault. The only fault for the hotel we can think of is the sofa not being comfortable in the living area of our room, as well as no toaster in our kitchenette which would have been handy for us. Other than that, the hotel was spotless and you can really see that the staff take pride in it’s presentation and service. We got lucky with the weather too which is an added bonus for the hotel’s sea view. We can only imagine how amazing it would be in the peak of summer. We fell in love with the local cats that lounged around the outdoor area too. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed with warmth and kindness.
The room was comfortable and spacious and even though it was booked as a street view there was a second balcony with beautiful view of the sea.
The staff are very professional and capture the wonderful Greek hospitality, nothing is too much trouble.
The restaurant is excellent.
Breakfast buffet has great variety and of course the fresh juicer is a bonus.
We had a couple of evening meals during our stay. Very good quality and price and again friendly and attentive service.
The gardens are beautiful, the two pools fantastic.
Lovely little rocky beach as well.
I will recommend the Corinna Mare to friends and family without hesitation.
Thanks so much for a lovely restful holiday.
