This is a very beautiful and very expensive hotel. Everything costs extra. Want to park your car? 29.00 per day. There is an additional 49.00 per day resort fee.a glass if house wine is 18.00 and they include 20% service fee. Oh and its called a beach resort. Want a chair at the beach it will cost you 49.00 for half day. Hmmm. We had to have our refrigerator replaced because it didn't work, then the tv kept going out (not that we were watching it much but it didnt work when we did. The sensor on the balcony door was broken so sometimes we didn’t have a working thermostat because it thought the door was open. I did take advantage of the spa, and had a nice massage, chilled out in the lavender room with a glass of bubbly. Prices were high but expected , they also included a 20% service charge. The view from the balcony was beautiful. A little annoying to have the helicopter tours overhead. Beautiful sunset spot. Restaurant was ok , not great and again very expensive. There is a service charge and some sort if use charge for room service so a 16.00 salad costs over 40. There is free fresh brewed Starbucks coffee on every floor, i would suggest taking advantage of that. I will likely pick another hotel or resort when returning to the area. Overall beautiful and high end, and quite enjoyable. but not worth all the extra fees they charge.

I cannot say enough nice things about this property. I went for a mother daughter long weekend and everything was perfect. This location is very convenient from the airport and the positioning to all of the activities couldn’t be better. The private Beach was amazing. We only ate at the BeachWalk Cafe and that was great! Our hotel room was clean, the pools were beautiful. The only negative was that the walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors very easily when they were loud. I would stay here again.

The resort was a pleasant stay. The property is well maintained. It has no beach view. The beach is a short walk and there are chairs to rent for the day. My only negative comment is that the whole resort seems understaffed in all areas from the check-in process through the restaurants. The staff is friendly and trying very hard to accommodate but it is obvious they feel harried and stressed from lack of support .

The bartenders by the pool were great. You can’t beat the amenities here. The fitness facility has more options than most resorts but it was very dirty and the equipment needed service.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Would go again on a couples trip or with my kids. It had a private beach so it didn’t seem crowded and there was a lot of amenities to relax and enjoy. Perfect vacation. We even had a massage at their spa which was a perfect way to end our mini vacation.

The room was wonderful and the view of the ocean a nature preserve was beautiful. The resort wasn’t on the beach but the walk was less than a minute from the property. The only issue I would say was the 526 dollar hold for incidentals and resort fees. This really should be stated in the reservation so it isn’t a surprise when arriving. Reservation made through Expedia. Staff had a hard time finding our reservation. When asked about the silver status (free beverages), it appeared they did not know about the program. They were able to accommodate and informed me to charge beverages to my room and they would figure it out at check out. Only one pool was open (adult only), but staff was able to accommodate, since our family had small children excited about the pool. After settling in our room, and I attempted to use the t.v., I was disappointed that it did not work. The hotel sent a technician to our room. The technician reset the television, but upon testing it realized that the channels were still not loading appropriately. After a couple of attempts, the channels finally loaded and worked. So far, the property is gorgeous, but the experience is not what I would have expected for this hotel.

First they had a big party there that night and I wasn’t informed. It was about 100 people’s or more attending a party that over crowded the hotel and parking space. Plus it was a party that you had to be invited to and they took over the hotel the lobby, the parking lot and the bars. You had to walk a mile to get to the hotel because the self parking was full. The person who help me with my bags was expecting a big tip and I had only like a suit case and a book bag. So he had attitude and plus the valet was mad because I wasn’t paying 40 bucks for them to park my car when they was super busy with the party. So the night only get worst from there because hotel was just over packed with peoples that wasn’t friendly. I don’t know if racist played a role in this but the vibes was off. You could feel the bad energy in the air. So I decide to go right across the street to get some food then when I got back to the hotel I took shower and got dressed. Here comes the weird part of my night. When I realize I was dealing with some shady and dishonest valet workers i had forgot something upstairs so pulled up in fronted of the hotel not blocking no other cars and the valet pressure me into given him my keys even the I was only going to be few seconds. The worst mistake of my life I came back to my car and several things was missing out my car but I didnt noticed right away. So I turn around and this is where it goes from a bad night to terrible night. Won’t let me right no more

During my stay a staff member was rushing and went around my family up the beach stairs and bumped into my 2 year old and sent her head flying into the steps, she bled everywhere. I told the front staff about it and they went me up smores to apologize. It’s been months and there is a permanent scar. S’mores for a permanent scar on a 2 year old is insane. I have been looking into a lawyer for this.

Very nice resort, obviously… But when booking from out of town, it should be noted that none of the rooms nor the resort are directly on the ocean (the gulf). It’s about two blocks away. Staff super friendly. Room was very clean, unfortunately, we could not turn the ceiling fan up because it made a very loud squeaky noise, and one of the shutters that block the bathroom from the bedroom was loose and kept protruding into the room and we kept walking into it. minor issues… but issues you shouldn’t have for such a high-end resort. All at the say, we still enjoyed our stay!

We expected the hotel to be more family-friendly. The kids club was always closed and it was impossible to reach anyone there. There weren’t many kids’ menu options and not a lot of activities for children.
On the positive side, the hotel is very beautiful, clean, and the staff is friendly. However, the price feels very high compared to the overall value received.

We like the location, and the hotel is clean. However, checking in at 4 PM is frustrating. We arrived from Vegas around 11 AM but had to wait 3 hours for our room. The beach is crystal clear, and we can see fish in the warm water, but jellyfish can be scary and can cause temporary itchiness.

One of the pools was under construction and closed while we were there. Luckily there were two other pools to use. They have great amenities. Walking distance to the ocean with chairs/ umbrellas for a daily fee. They had plenty of spots to wash sand off your feet. Bar by the private beach had good lunch type food. The water pressure in the tub was terrible- want to take a bath forget it. The tub might fill in a few hours. The toilet also ran for an unusually long time and their WiFi was done for the last part of our trip which also mean all their systems were down. The Nespresso in room and Starbucks machine down the hall will chilled water fill up stations was amazing. We were not impressed with the Spa Massages or pedicures as they weren’t the quality we get at home and cost about triple. Overall we had a great time.

The only thing I didn’t like was both days at the beach after we reserved an umbrella and chairs…we had to wait 30-35minutes for towels.

Overall, i loved our stay at the henderson, most staff were helpful and accommodating. Renting a spot on the now private beach was a nightmare and we were never confirmed and that was our only issue. The pools were beautifully kept and our room as well. The younger valet men were also great and helpful, we enjoyed conversing with then.

The hotel its self was very nice but of course its much more than if you stayed at a Hampton so you expect five star service. We had issue which where the person beside us had dog which was very loud barking non stop and we requested to be moved to another room but only if it could be one bed and pull couch and again the amount of money being paid pull out couch is not option . I called about beach service to be set up on the Saturday before coming the woman on the phone was very unhelpful she kept wanting to direct me online. I advise that would be fine but there is few questions that online does not address she was still very reluctant to answer. The beach service was behind on beach towels for 30 minutes. The hotel and pool very nice and the parking staff was nice as well but I can not say much regarding the rest of the staff.
