Great value decent rooms and this Hotel exactly where you want to be in the quarter. The hotel bar has \"swing nights\" , the pool is the largest you will see in the quarter with very large courtyard. The hotel itself is very large. Staff was attentive. I also understand this place will be renovated soon.

The $50 a night valet only parking should be included in the price of the room or let people park themselves.

The rooms need more trash cans

And you need ashtrays outside the hotel since you have to go down and smoke. I hated putting them on in the street

First, the staff here are exceptionally friendly and warm. From the young lady that helped with my rather stressing check in all the way to the doorman and other staff. However, the hotel is in dire need of updating their systems to operate with the trends of the industry. The building need many repairs and the carpets are absolutely filthy, disgustingly filthy. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms given the rest of the hotel is so dirty, but the rooms and the bathroom I had was very very clean. The furniture was pretty worn out and had some staining so I did not use the living area, but the bedroom and bathroom were top notch and felt like a different hotel. Unfortunately, I did not get much sleep as the air conditioning was full blast and it was too cold to enjoy a shower or even sleep at night. I turned the heat on 90 and it was still blowing freezing cold air. I tried to turn it off and it would not shut down and the air was continuous throughout the night. I ended up paying an Uber to take me to the gym to shower and I had to purchase a blanket in order to try to find comfort from the bone chilling cold. There is no smoking area on the property and having mobility issues it was not ideal to have to exit the property and walk down to stand on the street to smoke especially at night. The staff was the highlight of this location. The food at the restaurant is subpar and that is being nice wasted over $60 and couldn't eat it too greasy and tasted like old microwav

Great location, onsite valet parking available and needed if driving in, noted as 4 star but room had a few issues so more of a 3 star experience.

Aside from that safe, quite very helpful and friendly staff both front of house and house keeping

Is a good value option in the French quarter, 2 blocks from the main drag and easy access to most of the area on foot

We have stayed here a few times now and it is great location! You have a nice pool with daybeds and loungers. The room is all faced the pool so you don’t get a lot of street noise. Right on the edge of the French Quarter so easy to get everywhere.

The tv buffered the whole night so watching tv didnt go so well. The bathroom sink barely drained, the toilet made a loud screeching noise while the tank refilled after flushing it and the carpet was really dirty to where you need to wash your feet before putting shoes on.

Super cute hotel and great location. The sink in our room did not drain unless you physically held up the stopper. This would be obvious to any cleaning person so not sure why it wasn’t reported. We stayed 2 nights. The first night we had no a/c. Maintenance did come and try to fix it but no luck. The were able to repair it the next day but then it was absolutely freezing. So not the most comfortable stay. Also my husband had to use the business center and said it was filthy. The day staff was great, super helpful but the night staff was not great.

Perfectly situated hotel in the French Quarter with beautiful architecture, a terrific courtyard with a nice pool, and a beautiful balcony overlooking it. The room was nice and large, but a bit dated. The king size bed was confortatle and the room had everything you need. Corrine at the front desk was very helpful.

The staff of the Maison Dupuy are wonderful…kind, helpful and friendly. Special shout out to Miss Cynthia with 2nd floor house keeping. She continually checked in to make sure we had everything we needed & was so helpful and sweet! The hotel itself is pretty dated. The condition of the room was fair. We had to exchange electronic keys with the front desk about a half dozen times…no hot water for the first day or two until we reported it. The fitness room was really lacking in equipment. However, the unheated pool & the courtyard was enjoyable and pleasant.

The Breakfast is made to order and very good.Great coffee in the lobby and really helpful and truly friendly Managers and staff. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome. Great swimming pool but unheated.
The balcony view (2nd floor) up and down Burgundy@ Toulouse was perfect. It A few blocks from everthing you'd want but quiet. Locals live there in the neighborhood and they were so friendly to us. Lots of friendly dogs and a Cockatoo named Iko! Great experience and I can't wait to go back.

Valet service set a strong first impression—friendly, welcoming, and professional.

That initial experience, however, was not reflected at the front desk. The check-in felt impersonal and lacked the warmth one expects in hospitality. There was little engagement, and the interaction came across as transactional rather than welcoming.

Upon entering our assigned balcony room, the temperature was extremely warm—uncomfortably so. After contacting the front desk, we were advised it would take some time for assistance. Despite the hotel appearing relatively quiet, it took nearly an hour for maintenance to arrive. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved during that visit, and after additional follow-up, we were ultimately reassigned to another room.

The second room was an improvement in comfort, though the overall condition of the property feels dated. The bathroom, in particular, showed signs of age, with a small tub/shower setup and finishes that could benefit from updating. Some areas, including wallpaper, appeared worn.

Throughout the stay, service at the front desk remained consistent but lacked engagement, which stood in contrast to the welcoming tone set by valet.

This property has a solid foundation and clear potential. With attention to guest experience and some thoughtful updates, it could align much more closely with the level of hospitality travelers expect. As it stands, the experience felt more functional than memorable.

The hotel is out dated. The rooms are small and have a musky smell to them. The staff is not friendly at all. The housekeeper threw away our cafe beigne donuts that were in a bag not anywhere near the trash. All the trash we had was in one area. I told the front desk and the lady just smirked at me. The valet were not friendly and I felt like it was a burden to get our car at times. On a good note the hotel is located not far from all the attractions.

I arrived several hours before my check in time, but Jenecka (not sure of proper spelling) was able to find me a room that was ready so I wouldn’t have to wait until 4:00 PM to check in. I was so appreciative of her! The bed was the perfect amount of comfort. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud every night.

Me and my party had booked a window room. Upon arrival we noticed the window doesn't open, providing the room with no ventilation, and having the room feel damp and have an odor. The next morning we found a roach crawling into one of the beds, a pair of dirty socks under the bed, and that the TV did not work.

We got a new room upon request, not offered. A worker was sent to help us with the roach, but instead inspected the bed and left, not providing any help.

Most of the staff were nice, with the exception of one front desk worker who was particularly rude to visitors.

The key cards also often did not work to open the door, which had us often going to the front desk for a new one.

They have a large container of drinking water that my party often used, until discovering one day that it contained soap, causing our drinks to be bubbly and taste like lemon.

Overall, I would not stay here again. It did not feel clean, and after witnessing the roach crawl into the bed I was mortified.

The location of the hotel was perfect, we could walk everywhere in the French quarter and didn’t have to deal with any noise outside. The only negative is that the AC did not work well and there was no fan, it was warm and stuffy in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff entered room without knocking, and never cleaned the room. Had to ask for extra toilet paper.

Room was so small two people were constantly bumping into each other. Couldn’t walk around the ironing board.

The balcony was the only saving grace, as we could just sit outside and ignore how bad the room was.

Location is amazing because it’s literally 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. But the hotel itself is outdated. Everything about it looks, smell and feel old. No upgrades nothing modern. The first day our tub was stopped up and granted someone came right away to fix it but it shows the kind of issues this hotel has. Bathroom was constantly wet and there was always a puddle in the bathroom which I believe came from the toilet. The staff were great though. I have no issues with front desk, valet or the housekeeper everyone was great. I just think this hotel really need upgrades.

We were able to get our room about 3-4 hours early. Staff was nice.

Room was clean. There was a mini fridge. There was an annoying leak in the bathroom from the ceiling above that caused a “ting” noise. We put a towel under it to quiet it. The pool was being drained and Bistreaux was closed on Saturday night even though we were told they’d be open with live music and were looking forward to it.

Still a decent stay, close enough to the action to be walkable but not too close that it was too loud. I’d recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel would have been a great place to stay, except we seldom had any hot water. We were there for 5 nights and I could only take a hot shower 2 times. Ugh. Otherwise it was a great location in the French Quarter, staff was very helpful, lobby and bar just fine, very clean, rooms a little tired but with old New Orleans charm.

We were not able to adjust the temperature in the room. It was uncomfortably warm. The balcony door was unable to lock and accessible from other balconies. The pool was closed the entire time. The carpet was dirty. The in-room coffee maker was broken. The location was great.

It wasn’t our favorite stay. Off the bat we get charged $120 to park for 2 nights. If I’m paying for a hotel room, why am I having to pay additional to park? The hotel looks like something out of a 1980s New Orleans horror movie. Just extremely outdated and in need of renovation. We get to our room and it must’ve been 80°f in there. I turned the ancient thermostat as low as it could go and we left for a couple hours. When we came back the room was still hot and I tried calling the front desk but our phone in the room wasn’t connected. Not to mention, our TV did not work either. There was no microwave or refrigerator in the room. Anyway, I walk downstairs to the front desk and there’s a line of people all with the same AC problem. 20 minutes later a guy came to adjust our thermostat and it got about 5-10 degrees cooler but that was it. Not to mention, the air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer at a construction site. Outlet in room was dangling off the wall. The walls are also insanely thin. You can hear everyone around you even if they aren’t talking loud at all. Our room was a good distance away from the ice machine and I could still hear my girlfriend on the phone in the room. For what we paid to stay here during Mardi Gras, I expected a lot better.

Infrastructure: we didn't have on demand hot water until the last day. It took 20 minutes for it to get hot enough to take a bath. The AC didn't work, we couldn't leave our balcony door open because it was a shared balcony, our door would be lock and you could not adjust the TV volume. The staff were amazing

Staff was great, room was just ok. Really needs updating. The thermostat looks at least 40 yrs old and couldn't be adjusted. Also didn't realize the balcony was not private, and I felt uncomfortable staying there alone with another person able to access my room if I had the door open or wasn't careful to latch it.

The bathroom have a leak in the ceiling inside of the shower and the toilet have problem for flushing. Also don’t have any of privacy with the curtains transparent and broken. No good experience in all.

Room was in great condition. Staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate but all 5 of our rooms weren’t available. They blamed a 3rd party for over booking. They comped us a room to make up for it but we were left with incorrect rooms and no balcony in one. Our group had 5 rooms total double deluxe balconies. The coffee ran out early and wasn’t relished and the bar/restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday not sure if that is normal or not.
