The room was great -- the staff very responsive and courtious -- breakfast was above average and a good surprise -- pool area was very nice. The only complaint I would have is that they didn't have an elevator. We're an older couple and my wife brought everything she owns in a very large (and heavy) suitcase ! But, other than that, it was perfect -- would definitely stay again.

I moved from a hotel for $96 to this one for almost $200. It was not a hotel worth $200. Among other things, the bed frame is horrible. The mattress moved leaving a bar hanging which my knee smacked into.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The only issue I had was booking through Hotels.com. For some reason the hotel was unable to get $$ from Hotels.com so they charged my credit card,( while i already was charged by Hotels.com) Then spent at least a half hour dealing with Hotels.com customer service , trying to get the issue resolved.

The milk was rotten and so was the yogurts. Our goalie got sick and couldn't finish our game. I inform the front desk and he said there's basically nothing he could do about it but he should have at least threw it away.

We were a late arrival, but texted the hotel and told them. They acknowledged our message and we checked in late without an issue. Check was fast & easy. Breakfast was good with lots of hot & cold items to choose from. It was also helpful that breakfast lasted until 10 a.m. for those of us who occasionally have a \"late\" morning. Staff was helpful - especially Cody who recommended local restaurants and got us clean towels when we asked.

Only downside is we were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. Not a big deal, but we had to carry our suitcases upstairs.

I had never heard of AmericInn before so I was Leary booking. I’m glad I took the chance. Hotel is spotless along with the rooms. Bathroom very clean. Breakfast wonderful. Location perfect. An added plus that you don’t get in many hotels is how soundproof the rooms are.

Friendly but tired hotel!

Cody at the front desk checked us in and was extremely helpful and accommodating to our requests.
The lobby is very nice, but the rest of the hotel is very old and needs to be renovated and updated.
The towels were in need of replacing, there was no wall thermostat, furnishings old, no USB outlets in the rooms, electrical issues (when using the treadmill a circuit blew, the treadmill stopped and I was in a dark fitness room), when using the waffle maker at breakfast it blew the circuit breaker again. It has only 2 floors, but there are no elevators for the 2nd floor, pool area and fitness room look worn down.
Staff were friendly, unfortunately the hotel needs to be updated.

Room smelled like smoke

Room smelled like smoke, we let them know as there is a 200 cleaning charge for smoking. We didn't move because there were lots of families with young kids running in the halls and at the pool and the room we had was quiet.
The pool was empty the second night (weeknight) we were there and nice. But too busy to use the other nights.
Close to downtown area with food and short 20-25 minute drive to national park south entrance.

No elevator. If any issues climbing stairs with or without carrying luggage, make sure you request a 1st floor room.

Bed were nice but the platform that the mattress sits on is pretty high! Also has metal edges that are exposed so I scraped my legs on it a few times.

I've stayed here many times. This property does not take anything for granted. The attention to detail & services is always top shelf.
We were able to check in early which was great.

Family friendly and clean!!

We were pleasantly impressed with our stay at AmericInn in Dickinson, ND. We stayed 3 nights. Rooms were clean. The staff was over accommodating and extremely kind! Always friendly and willing to help. Our kids loved the pool. They also have a conference room attached to the pool area so we were able to have a birthday party with family for a small addition fee.
We plan to stay again!!

Couldn't get 3 sets of room keys to work and they didn't have another comparable room for us, so we had to drive through a thunderstorm to find another place to stay.

There’s a metal platform on their beds. Every time I got in or out, I scratched my legs. I left with bruised and bloody legs.

The hotel was easy to locate off the interstate and had a few places to eat that were within walking distance.

Property was well maintained, room was comfortable and clean. Nice selection for breakfast, hot and cold options. Fresh cookies at 3 and 24 hour coffee bar. Very easy to access, it is right off the highway. Numerous restaurants to choose from. The only issue was the stairs. Has stairs to 2nd floor. No elevator. However, Marietta Martin, worked cheerfully to move us. Also, the beds were comfortable, but the mattress slides on the foundation. We stayed two days. Fantastic stay!

Parking was ok,the bathtub was extremely slippery, felt unsafe. The bed frames stuck out too far and banged knee twice. Sheets had burn mark stains. Continental breakfast was very disappointing and milk was expired, curdled.

I love staying here, the staff is always very welcoming and the my rooms have always been clean and stocked. I've stayed here my last three visits and I will continue to select this hotel and the price has always reasonable for the deluxe king rooms with Jacuzzi.

Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and the water was hot, not like some places. There was a full complimentary breakfast and the area was clean. All this for a very affordable price! Will definitely stay here again.
