The bed was comfortable, shower was nice, bathroom was large with lots of storage and breakfast was substantial. The negatives were: the on-site restaurant was closed during our 2 night stay (part of the reason we booked this place was the convenience of an on-site restaurant), they did not have the foldable suitcase holders in the rooms, the luggage carts were useless, wedge-shaped and tiny (our luggage and cooler kept slipping off of it), the staff was unfriendly, there were clumps of black hair in the bathroom, in the sheets and on one of the pillows, I would not stay here again and would not recommend.

The location is great and the room we had was larger than most rooms we stayed in. However the ice machine was not working on our floor and no one even worked on it while we were there for three nights. The remote on the tv worked only when it wanted to. The staff there were very friendly and busy.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was extremely dark with dim, orange-toned lighting that made it difficult to see, and it felt old, dingy, and poorly maintained. The bathroom door and vanity were damaged and worn which only added to the rundown appearance—I would not stay here again.

The common areas are not clean, breakfast had minimum and not the high quality food, with durty appliances. In the suite, the kitchennete had very limited utensils and plateware, only couple knives and 1 small bowl. Although, have to note that the room was spacious and originally well built. This property just needs some maintenance done.

The property was really good. The room was great. My only complaints are these:
#1. The room was really dark. Even with all of the lights on, it was still too dark in the room. They need to rethink the lighting in the rooms, including the bathrooms. Im pretty easy going when it comes to rooms, but the lighting is something that the management can, and should, do something about.
#2. The television situation was unacceptable. We had no remote in the room and had to go to the front desk to get one. Turning on the TV, it was snow. We had to use the controls on the TV to go into \"input\" and then HDMI to finally get to the \"cable\" t.v. so we could actually watch something. When the TV shut itself off, we had to go through that all over again. It's exceptionally inconvenient to have to play with the TV like that just to get TV service. You should be able to turn it on and have service instantly.
#3: the breakfast was sub-par. We found nothing hot. The coffee was essentially hot water. All there seemed to be were danishes and yogurt...and we were only 1.5 hours after they started breakfast service.
The property is pretty nice, as is the staff. Im hoping these issues were just a glitch because it's a nice place. We'll try it again next time we're in Dickinson, and hope...

At 8:00 am all of the hot breakfast items were completely empty, not just low, empty. I mentioned it to the manager. I checked back about 15 minutes later and they were still empty although I saw the manager carrying in one pan. The orange juice was also either empty or not working. The breakfast area has four small tables which is totally inadequate.
The shower head in the bathroom was loose which caused the water to spray out over the curtain completely drenching the floor. I asked at the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do and no other rooms were available.

Very nice place. The staff are older and really nice and I can tell work very hard to keep the place clean. I don't think the owners of the hotel care about them to be honest or would provide easier ways to clean and updated equipment to clean easier with. I would suggest light weight vacuums which I don't think they own at all and using the shark mop/vacuum for the hard floors. Mop buckets are hard to empty and mops are very unsanitary. Otherwise keep the staff since they were very nice.
