Very charming hotel right in the city center. The staff were so welcoming and breakfast was great! Perfect location, very walkable to many amazing restaurants, beach, and train station. We stayed in room #1 which was perfect us since it was in the first floor. Very quiet little alley way which was literally just steps from the center of town. I secretly want to gate-keep this property as it was a true value without sacrificing quality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Mallorca.

Overall, it was fine. I was in Room #1 on the ground level. The internet was very spotty and I couldn't get any work done. I don't know if that's an issue in the other rooms. The room itself was clean, comfortable and convenient to lots of restaurants and shops.

This is a lovely find in the old town, tucked away just off La Rambla, so extremely well placed for the sights, shopping and transport links. The attention to detail is second to none, and you can tell that the family really care about the service they provide. Good continental breakfast with great fresh bread. Would definitely stay again.

The location was great and overall the property is quite charming. Daily breakfast was excellent. Main things to know about this property: there is a lot of street noise (people partying, etc) and there's no elevator. While I wouldn't expect an older property to have an elevator, something to note is that the stairs are quite steep so you'll need to be mindful carrying your luggage up and down. All things aside, I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a small property in the best location. It is essentially a BnB in an old building. Rooms are simply furnished and our room was quite small ( room 2 on the first floor) and there is very little room to gang/ store clothes. Good quality bed linen, basic but fresh breakfast items and quietly understated service.

Fantastic suite with a small outside terrace. This appears to be a new small boutique Hotel where they really concentrated on all the details. I will caution you that if you have ambulatory issues, most of the rooms require stairs, make sure you read their website thoroughly.

Hotel Canavall has the feel of a local experience as well as the comfort and convenience of a hotel. The rooms are tucked away in a quiet corridor of historic Palma and are immaculately well-furnished. Overall, an excellent value! I will definitely be back if I ever find myself in Palma again!

Lovely historic boutique hotel in Palma Old Town
The hotel is in a beautifully restored old farm building and is situated in a quiet peaceful street 1 mimute off La Rambla in one direction and Placa del mercat with its lovely bars, delis, restaurants and shops. We stayed in room one which was in a separate building from the main hotel. It was a nice cozy room with a large comfortable bed, flat screen TV and decent a size bathroom. We got complimentary water and a small bottle of fizzy wine which was a nice touch. The room also had a coffee machine and a fridge. The host was very friendly and helpful and we loved the continental breakfast. The hotel is a grwat location and really good for exploring palma especially the lovely old town. We would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Nice hotel in a very central location. We got room no 1 which was unfortunately very dark, situated on ground floor. Weather was rainy so no chance utilising the roof terrass. Some issues with the aircon which was noisy.

We had a wonderful stay at Canavall. We are a family of 4 and stayed in room 5 which has a split floor. The room was very clean and will be cleaned daily if you put a sign on your door to be cleaned. We didn’t put the sign out on the second day and our room wasn’t cleaned.
They have put in excellent measures to adhere to social distancing due to Covid. There are hand sanitisers around the building and we had our own breakfast slot.
The breakfast consisted of fresh coffee, breads, pastries, meats, eggs, cereals and cheese - just what we needed.
The hotel is in the Old Town, within walking distance to the Cathedral and good transport links to local beaches.

Perfect accomodation in Palma
I had booked it for my parents, the room and bathroom were really wonderful and spacious, in a wonderful quiet location, a lot of attention to details, they even brought champagne for Xmas. A really lovely and comprehensive breakfast as well. The only downside are the stairs which are hard for older people, especially with large suitcases. It would be nice to organize a service to bring the suitcases up and down to the rooms. But it really was a wonderful place, highly recommended.

Centrally situated but off the main thoroughfare, so although there are no scenic views from the rooms, you aren't disturbed by noisy pedestrians or traffic. Each room is individually styled with large comfy beds and the fluffiest towels ever! Breakfast consisted of freshly baked pastries and local produce with freshly squeezed orange juice - delicious.

We would highly recommend staying at Canavall! The service before and during our stay was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and exactly as described. The location is in a very good area whilst being in easy walking distance to everything Palma has to offer. We enjoyed eating and drinking close to the hotel, which was convenient as well. Excellent central location. Easy to get to, once you know where it is -- hidden in a cluster of small alleys. Breakfast and breakfast room good and well laid out. Room (No. 5) very clean, with an excellent bathroom. The main con is that if you have mobility problems I would not recommend this hotel. Access to rooms 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 is up a steep, low-ceilinged, narrow flight of stairs (no lift), and room 5 is split by a flight of stairs. If you arrive outside of reception hours then there is no help getting suitcases up the stairs. Also, the minimalist furnishing of the room was so minimal as to be impractical -- nowhere to store clothes/belongings.

Charming family apartment in Palma Old Town
We stayed in the family apartment. It had lots of character and was lovely, spacious and clean. The photos are a good representation but it is even nicer in reality. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect - just five minutes away from cafes, bars and extremely close to the cathedral area, however, it was very peaceful during the night. Xisco, the owner, was very helpful and friendly and was quick to respond to any queries leading up to our stay. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

The most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at. Words cannot truly illustrate how much we appreciate this hotel. If I could make one recommendation to the hotel is that they add scrambled eggs, cakes and muffins to there Breakfeast. I still enjoyed the breakfast but my picky girlfriend had skipped it because she didn’t find anything she liked. I truly will be coming to Palma again and half of the reason Is due to this amazing hotel. Remember to ask the office for anything you need like a towel for the beach or toiletries. Our flight was at 7am which means we had to leave at 4am so the women who cooks left breakfast for me. It was the cutest thing. I could go on and on. Also they leave a wine in your room and it is cheaper then it costs outside so no need to compare if you need a bottle just drink the one they leave in the room!

Lovely boutique hotel right in the old town close to everything but up a quiet side street. The owners and staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I would certainly go back there again

Lovely boutique hotel. Refurbished old bakery done to a high standard but yet still retaining some original features. Location was incredible - walking distance to majority of sights in Palma and good food choices nearby.
Only gripe was that we arrived 2 hours earlier than the time we'd told the hotel we'd be there for checkin (still after the official check-in time on the website). There was no one present to see to us, or to answer the phone, so we went for food instead. However someone was there at the initial agreed time.

In brief, we stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every second of our stay. The staff were friendly, courteous & helpful from the very beginning and our room was in a perfect condition with no issues at all! We were in a small apartment with kitchen which was ideal for us, and really added to our whole experience as we were able to prepare our own breakfast every morning and enjoy our time every morning.

The atmospheric lighting was a bit dark in the rooms especially the kitchen, and the bed did not have a sprung mattress, just foam, making it too warm for us.

I found the hotel in easy walking distance from the airport bus stop in Placa Espanya. I received a friendly welcome from Xisco and was left to it once I had the keys, and given his contact number in case of emergency.
The reception and breakfast area, and the staff office, is next door to the apartment block. It is an old building and they have tried to remain true to it in their redecoration. As such the room/apartment's layout was quite idiosyncratic with a sort of anteroom at the entrance with a sofa, a bathroom and a large, narrow bedroom leading onto a little terrace with a bistro set for sitting out. Usual tea/coffee stuff and kettle available, and some complementary water and a fridge. I also got the sense they were still finalising various details, e.g., the safe wasn't installed yet. It was all very nicely finished, with some quirky touches, e.g. a recliner chair.
Breakfast was included for me and as you'd expect for Spain - good bread, ham, cheese, oil, local specialities etc and some pastries, yoghurt and fruit. A nice start to the day.
The rooms/apartments are all rather on top of one another so if you have a loud neighbour, as I did for a while on the first night, you will hear them. On the plus side, this is so obviously the case that people soon realise and quieten down. I slept very well overall, not least because the bed was so comfortable.

La ubicación en el casco antiguo es excelente así como la atención de la persona de recepción. La arquitectura y caracteristicas de una casa antigua hace que haya que tener cuidado con los escalones de acceso a primera planta, pero sobre todo que se oigan todos los ruidos de los vecinos, deambular, puertas, etc...esto es difícilmente mejorable, pero a tener en cuenta si buscas no molestar y que no te molesten. Lo peor con mucha diferencia es el mantenimiento y conservación de los servicios, que son pésimos. La climatización frío/calor hay tenerla apagada dado que desprende un olor insoportable en la estancia, signo evidente de falta de limpieza y desinfección. El baño igualmente huele mal posiblemente por el desague de ducha que no funciona bien. La segunda noche cayó de la rejilla de ventilación del baño una enorme cucaracha que tuvimos que perseguir por todo el dormitorio, si es en invierno no quiero pensar que será en pleno verano. La relación calidad precio podría ser buena si no fuese por estos últimos detalles absolutamente inaceptables.

War unser zweiter Aufenthalt, aber auch der Letzte. Natürlich ist die Lage sehr gut, die Zimmer schön und es gibt ein paar schöne Annehmlichkeiten. Aber saure Milch zum Frühstück und das darauffolgende Theater mit der Angestellten…nein danke. Generell sollte man vom Frühstück Abstand nehmen. Das Brot war in der Mitte noch matschig und das Ei flüssig (nicht das Eigelb, sondern generell).

O local não parece um hotel, e sim o Airbnb, não tem recepção 24h o que dificulta o contato. A localização e o café da manhã são as únicas coisas positivas que achei. O quarto que ficamos estava sem ar condicionado, improvisaram um ar condicionado portátil o que impossibilitava o fechamento da porta do banheiro, o cheiro de esgoto no quarto era muito forte. O Wi-Fi não funcionava direito e nem a televisão. Enfim, não ficaria novamente

Hotel curato in ogni particolare in centro città. Posizione ottimale. Camera 8: ampia, pulita, letti comodi, molto luminosa e arieggiata, bagno con bidè, doccia con buona pressione dell'acqua, con fornitura di sapone, shampoo e persino balsamo. Colazione buona, con frutta fresca e vera spremuta d'arancia. Arredi e mobili sia della camera che degli spazi comuni belli e moderni. Davvero un bel posto, ci tornerei volentieri.

The apartment we have rented was large, well equiped and charming . The beds were especially comfortable. The location is very central in Palma, which is briliant to reach the main attractions by walking. As the hotel rents both rooms and apartments we weren't able to have our breakfast with the hotel, as it sounds reserved for the rooms of the hotel, and not the guests of the apartments. That was unclear in the description of the rental . The apartment is within an old building, and if the other occupants make noise when going in/out you might be awaken by the noise. That aside i really recommend this place to stay in Palma.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Vom Check-in über das gemütliche Zimmer bis hin zum sehr aufmerksamen Personal hat alles gepasst. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, sollte sich vielleicht Ohropax ein einstecken, da es doch hellhörig ist vom Flur her. Aber die das tut dem herrlichen, wirklich liebevoll restaurierten Canavall keinen Abbruch. Das Frühstück war super, der Zimmerservice kam täglich zur Reinigung und man ist super zentral mitten in Palma. Wir haben die vier Nächte sehr genossen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
