Amazing stay in this lovely hotel!

The breakfast was gorgeous, and Cosco is a true superstar. Xavi at reception is a real professional, and all the reception team are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The spa is simply lovely.

This is not just a place to visit — it’s a paradise to live in. I highly recommend it!

A big shout-out to all the hardworking staff and management. You can truly feel the love here.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff were excellent, with special mention for Libby, Daniela, Fran and Juan-Jose. The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally situated close to local restaurants, bars and the beach. That said we enjoyed the hotel’s bars and dining facilities too. The quality of the fresh food was good and seemed to cover all dietary choices. The Saloon Bar did feel like a crèche in the evening with children racing around despite the child related activities (ages 3 - 6) ending at 2100. Fortunately the SkyBar tended to be more adult orientated. Very enjoyable stay, thank you!

The rooms need soundproofing. I could hear the person snoring in the next room. Also, heavy chairs being dragged across marble floors make for a very noisy environment.

Lovely hotel with superb rooftop bar

This is a lovely hotel, ideally situated near the shops and restaurants of Can Picafort.
Breakfast options are varied and good quality.
The pools are great, with plenty of sunbeds available and sloping steps which are ideal for those who struggle with ladders.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I would recommend trying the rooftop bar, we saw some beautiful sunsets there and the views of the surrounding area are magnificent.

Nice stay, they also earn money from guests with the drink options in the dinner, even if you book half-board with dinner included it does not include drinks, they charge high prices for a small coke or for a water, you might end up spend a lot only on the drinks. There is an Aldi close to it where you can buy drinks for less than 1 euro each can or bottle while they charge 2.90 or 4+ euro for each, be aware.

We enjoyed a lot our stay in the Granvista. It was clean, safe, quiet, lots of activities for everyone, amazing staff. Our apartment was on the top floor so we could enjoy the sun on our terrace. The kitchen was quite well equipped but there was no condiments at all. Not a big deal, but if you want to cook - you need to buy basically everything. There is plenty of big shops around with Aldi being on the other side of the road. What surprised us a bit, the tv didn’t had any Netflix or YouTube, just Spanish tv (always with dubbing). Overall we had very pleasant stay and we would recommend it for sure! Thank you! Gracias :)

The staff were nice. Location was good and within walking distance to the street market, restaraunts, beach and tour pickups.

Lots of options for the in house buffets and we had some fun entertainment each night.

Small issue with showers slow to drain. Bigger issue was the beds, like sleeping on a park bench and had to use the extra comforters to provide a bit of cushion. That said, my mom loved her bed.

The hotel was friendly and clean, the staff were helpful. The room was well aid out and spacious this particular room did not have a proper shower tray with a door or a towel rail which would have been better. The balcony view of this room was to the rear of the hotel no pleasant gardens or anything just views out over residential properties and the car park which can be a little noisy at times with cars and dogs barking etc.

Good quality food. Excellent service always from lady with big dark glasses and red lipstick with always a big smile. Male waiting staff and servers of meat and fish always grumpy. Roof bar staff friendly and efficient. Our room cleaners were grumpy, but made beds and changed towels daily. If you were not up by 9.15 they hung the ‘no’ sign on your door. We did have a different lady on one occasion who did an amazing job. Did what the others do but swept and cleaned floors which the other cleaners didn’t do. She was very efficient and friendly. Lady in spa always friendly and efficient and speaks all languages very well.
The snack bar by the pool run very well. Great food and great service always.

Great breakfast. Rooms small but modern. Single beds only, not ideal, pillows were awful. Room floor was not very clean on arrival. Roof top bar is stunning, a must see! Good location, great transport links for much of the island. But for me the pool & sunbathing areas were a real let down, in urgent need to refurbishment, but based on what we paid we cant complain too much. Nice time was had, but all in all due to the run down pool areas we spent most of our days at the beach or another hotel pool.

Convenient location next to beach and food. multiple pools, the spa was great. Advertised as a spa, but seems like a hotel for people with kids, they have concert sing alongs every night, kids screaming everywhere, the spa was a side option not the main point of the hotel. Rooms not sound proof could hear everything in halls and above.

The roof was leaking, I mentioned it to the front desk and they said \"we'll fix it when you leave\"..no room move offered no discount not even an apology. Also mentioned before we got there my husband and I are celebrating our honeymoon and requested an amenity, nothing was offered. Every other hotel we stayed at in spain set our room up with some sort of amenity except this one. All in all would probably go back for a spa day pass, but not return to the hotel.

Nice pool area, with plenty of selection for sunbeds. Room was spacious and clean. Close to the beach, and loads of restaurants.
Some slight negatives, that prevented me from giving a 5/5 rating:
- Have to pay for the safe in the room. Would have expected this to be included for free.
- Nowhere to fill up water bottles. The hotel is supposed to be eco friendly, but sells plastic bottles in a vending machine.
- No ice machine in hotel.

We arrived late with our baby and the reception staff were very helpful. The lady gave us some milk so our little one would be content as it was 2am. We were taken to our room and nothing was too much trouble. All staff were helpful and pleasant. A lovely clean hotel that catered for all your needs!

We are really happy we chose this hotel.
Very modern, clean and well organised hotel, people who work there very friendly, helpful, smiley and make you feel like on holiday every day.
Pools were amazing, pool towels and spa are free, lots to do for small kids, our baby was overmoon.
The highlight of the stay was huge variety of food to choose from during the breakfast and dinner, good quality aswell.
Nice touch coffee jar given in the morning per table so you dont need to waste your time qeueing next to the machine.
On Sunday they even gave prosecco for breakfast which was very nice surprise.
Overall, amazing standard hotel, with lots of pools for kids and nice meals you can choose for your taste, clean and enjoyable atmosphere.

Myself and my partner recently had the privilege of staying at this hotel and it was an amazing experience.
The room was quite spacious, comfortable and clean, my only reservation is about the bathroom glass door, it doesn't really provide privacy.
The staff was excellent and the housekeeping team kept our room in perfect order.
One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's spa with the indoor pool, sauna and steam room, which we used a lot during the cloudy days.
The outdoor and swimming pools areas are fantastic and spacious, they don't feel overcrowded.
There are plenty of dining options and shops around the hotel, very touristy though.
Great transportion too, the bus stop is just across the road.
If you're seeking an unforgettable getaway, look no further. This hotel is a true gem.

This hotel is located perfectly 2 min walk to beach and shops. Staff all very friendly. Etremly clean. I have 3 negatives the air conditioning was not cold i do not agree for paying for a safe in a 4* hotel. Never had to before. And breakfast food was cold. The sky bar was excellent anazing views and the drinks in the hotel are as cheap if not cheaper than in the bars.

Lovely quiet hotel and very central. Great facilities and super clean. We loved the spa.Nice to have a fridge on the room but be aware there is a charge for the in room safe. Daily or weekly. Staff at breakfast worked very hard. Food was plentiful,not amazing but still good and fresh and constantly replenished. Staff in bar and restaurant lovely,efficient and helpful. We didn’t have dinner as we were on bed and breakfast option.

The stay was amazing, great hotel one of the best I’ve stayed at. Three great pools, the spa is great also. Loved the breakfast, they had a violinist playing on some mornings. Mini-bar was good too, played the football when it was on. Amazing views from the rooftop bar, I just wish it was restaurant too. Great service all round from information to ordering taxis. Mini-golf course is a fun thing to do in your spare time. Great for couples and/or families.

Our transfer took hours (not arranged by the hotel) but we were met with a smile, fresh orange juice and a cold buffet - even though it was midnight! Hotel was spotless, staff always friendly, and facilities well maintained. Food was high quality and a good variety for both breakfast and dinner. Only minor fault from my perspective was the lack of labelling in the dining room - no allergens are highlighted which makes it difficult to tell what’s safe to eat when you have allergies....perhaps this can be addressed?

This was a return journey to this hotel and sadly we won’t be back. The hotel and grounds are still superb with a huge amount of sunbeds so no need for early morning reserving. Great range of pool areas to suit all needs and entertainment throughout the day if you were interested. However, in our opinion the service was not up to last years high standards. Long wait times in the pool bar and roof top bar. Food in restaurant still of good standard but service on tables was lacking and on many occasions we had to clear the plates ourselves. Staff in restaurant not very friendly or helpful. Such a shame as the hotel itself is perfect for our needs.

Fantastic stay, living up to those 5Star TA Rating

I booked this hotel for the final night of our holiday after staying in a Private Villa. My selection was based on the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and Grupotel Web Site, together with the reasonable price for such a hotel.
We wanted a finalie to end our holiday with and we were not disappointed; we were allocated two rooms next to each other facing the pools/garden (as requested - Thanks), these were in the apartment complex and were fitted out to a high standard (think 4 Star hotel room but with lots of space, kitchen area and very large balcony). The rooms and whole complex were very clean. A fantastic Restaurant with a massive choice of self serve buffet style food together with chefs cooking to order (meat, fish, omelette, etc.), even Cava at breakfast!
Plenty of space in the gardens to have your sun beds positioned where you want, and lots of shaded areas provided by the palms if you don't want to feel the full power of the Mallorcan sun.
We also experienced the Spar which was a nice added bonus.
Overall a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities and service. We would not hesitate to book again.

Liked- Able to get an early coffee before breakfast, Food, proximity to centre, shops, beach and bus routes yet quiet hotel. Very clean hotel. Breakfast very good. Luggage room. Extended check out 30 Euros. Staff extremely friendly ( one exception). Rooftop bar and spa are first class.
Did not enjoy entertainment show on first night. The compère seemed rude. The show was mimed (very badly). Therefore did not return, as better shows available locally.

Well laid out grounds, more than enough loungers, decent pool and separate pools for children. Top notch Gym & Sauna facilities.

Nice big spa hotel in Can Picafort very close to the beaches and lots of cafes/ restaurants.

Loved: One of the most amazing breakfasts we have ever had with lots of hot and cold varieties, several types of fruits and bread, live counter for eggs and pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice etc etc. Very friendly and smiling staff in the breakfast hall and reception. Guests are greeted with a glass of orange juice at check in. Has 7 swimming pools and free use of spa facilities. There are shows/ entertainment in the evenings. One can easily spend a few days within the hotel itself. Plenty of street parking within 5 min walk though that might get busy during peak season. One extra star for the breakfast!

Could be better: We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very dated and in need of modernization. The walls are very thin. The wifi signal was very poor with no signal at all in the bedroom. The bed was ok, not the most comfortable. Parking is relatively small for the size of the hotel and is usually full.

there are a lot of pools and a good amount of play space for kids, but it was slightly too early in the year for the outside pools to be comfortable, so we used the inside ones, but kids under 15 only get to use the one in the main hotel, which closes at 7:30 and is relatively small, luckily they did not actually enforce that time, so we were able to swim later than that.

Odd policies like 'take the towel ticket and walk the entire length of the property to the wellness center to get a towel, be sure to. bring the towel back to the wellness center to get the ticket back to ensure you are not charged the towel fee\" oh, and the desk is open 9:30-12:45 and 3:30 - 7;30.

The wifi was very spotty, and required personal identification each time and apparently has a built-in filter for alcohol related sites and so on.

Nice Hotel.

This hotel is not beachfront but only a few minutes walk away from the beach. Shops/restaurants are literally just across the road. Little tourist train stops close by too. So, handy location without being right in the middle of the crowds. Our room wasn't big but adequate and provided everything we needed including a fridge, air-conditioning and also a safe (extra charge for this). The television provided English channels too. We wanted to watch a football match on Sky and there were plenty of places close by where you can do that.
I thought the food in the restaurant was good both breakfast time and for evening meals. There was lots of choice and lots of 'show cooking'. Also some themed nights (Italian/Chinese etc) and gala nights.
The swimming pool area is well spread out with lots of sunbeds so there is no rush in the mornings to get one. There's a bar at the pool too which serves midday lunches/drinks/ice-creams etc. Pool towels were provided.

We played mini-golf a couple of times. The hotel provides the golf clubs and balls etc. free of charge.

Excellent hotel!

Having just returned from this hotel for the second time, with teenage children and an elderly grandmother, there was something for all of us to enjoy at this hotel and both times we have had a wonderful time. Very clean hotel with excellent food at both the bistro and the restaurant. We were half board and we always found plenty at each setting to enjoy for all our different food tastes. Prices of drinks were very reasonable. Staff in the restaurant, bistro, rooftop bar and hotel bar were very friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

The hote is amazing the staff is amazing and took care of us and helped us whenever we needed. My only complain is that the internet didnt work well on common areas, but my wife loved cause that way she didnt have to contact with the real world. Oh, and the one bedroom apts are huge.

Really lovely hotel with lots of space and a huge outdoor pool complex plus spa with pool. Close to the beach. Really helpful and friendly staff. Overall couldn't fault it.

amazing hotel

The hotel it self is amazing lots of stuff to do.
Always something going on, facilities are very good and staff too MARIO and bar staff , Xavier, reception staff breakfast stuff always making sure we good and always with a smile on the face.. only thing is pool water was cold coz when whet on October and temperatures where 26 27 I only recomend heated pool rest keep up definitely going back 😁😘

This was our fourth stay in this hotel this year.
Rooms are clean.parts of the hotel namely corridors are a bit
Dated.pools are lovely.pool snacks and hotel drinks prices are
Reasonable.mostly Germans in the hotel,not many British.so that
Is a plus,as nice quiet place.
The best part is the rooftop bar .simply fantastic.one evening there
Was a violinist performing.
The only really downside is that the air conditioning in the rooms it is just
Not good enough.does need totally replacing.bearing in mind that we
Have stayed in four different rooms this summer.so we know from experience.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, all staff very friendly and helpful.Air conditioning could be better and the swimming pools could have been heated which would have made swimming more pleasant. Food was very good as was the spa area. Would definitely return to this hotel,but would arrange a private transfer instead of the 2 hour transfer

Nice hotel in good location

Hotel is very nice away from the noise of the town centre, walking distance to beach and bus stop 100m away with cheap fares to take you wherever (beaches north of alcudia are nice). Pool and spa facilities are excellent.

Didn't live up to expectations

Very surprised with this hotel. We were due to stay for 10 nights in total split by a night in palma.

From the reviews I had read - we expected a very high standard hotel and service.

The air conditioning unit in our room was faulty. The beds were very uncomfortable. We asked reception on the second morning to move rooms as the air conditioning unit extremely noisy and not working properly. The said they would send someone to fix it - however this did not happen.

The hotel grounds were dated. The sun loungers were particular uncomfortable, the complimentary pool towels were in the \"spa\" which was a good walk from reception and they looked and felt like sand paper. Overall not a 4 star experience.

On the plus side the breakfast was good and varied- although there was very little organisation. This is really suited to families - not people looking for luxury of any form.

Hotel was run like clock work. Fantastic service evreywhere. Lots for kids and young people to do. I stayed with my 17,16 and 13 year old and we all loved our time spent at this very comfortable and traditionally run hotel. Service was 5*.

Very nice!

We love big swimming pool and very good location, very nice hotel and clean indeed however the room as normal nothing look special, not sure they having bed bugs! because it's showed on my boy as he always mess up on bed,
just across the beach a few minute, very clean in there, we are very enjoyed there and the pools as well!
We don't mind to take the bus to somewhere tho, very easy too!

Enjoyable family holiday

We had a lovely family holiday. Our family room was large and well kept. Breakfast and dinner was pretty good although it was busy at times & queues could be long, we ate out some evenings for a change. Sunbeds were always available even so there wasn't the usual scramble for beds first thing. The mini disco was mainly in German and many songs were different each night so difficult for small children to get familiar with them. Evening entertainment was poor (The Wizard of Oz!) but my children enjoyed the few things we saw.

Great family hotel

Just came back from spending a very happy week at Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa. Even though the hotel seemed pretty full, we never felt there was no space at the restaurant or pool, and there were always plenty of sun loungers. With 5 outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools, there was a pool to suit everyone's needs. We spent a lot of time in the kids pool, which had good cover from the trees, so you didn't have to worry too much about the little ones getting too much sun.
We had a standard double room, which from the photos looks smaller than it is in reality. There was plenty of space to add a full sized fold up bed for the little one. The bedroom and bathroom looked like it'd be newly renovated, and the daily cleaning service was very good. The small fridge in the room was empty (but you can request for it to be filled with mini bar items), so we put a big 5 ltr bottle of water in there.
The staff around the hotel were all very friendly, and they offer 1:1 swimming lessons in the pool for the kids if you want them (chargeable). The gym is well equipped with modern cardio and weights equipment and they have fitness classes in the morning and afternoon.
The beach is about 10 mins walk away, but the walk is very pleasant, past all the tourist shops and restaurants. There is a small supermarket about 1 min walk from the hotel and a larger one about 5 mins walk.
All in all, a fantastic hotel.

beautiful grounds

We were staying in two apartments. We asked for them to be next to each other but there was an apartment in between. This was not a problem. However, the hotel and grounds were perfect for our three little children. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and felt the beach and the pools were a good balance. The staff were very kind to us and helpful when we had problems with our wifi. I would certainly recommend this hotel to other people.

Hotel is excellent, staff very nice and committed

If you hestitate - dont. This hotel is excellent. Rooms are clean, spacious. Food delicious. People are nice, very much committed to provide best service and for you to have a good time.
Price-wise - very reasonable.
Lots of German guests though - you may expect a lot of entertainment prepared for those customers.

Ideal hotel for a family holiday

A fantastic, modern, family friendly hotel just a short walk from the beach and restaurant.

We stayed on a Bed & Breakfast booking in one of the rooms with a small kitchen/lounge area, which was ideal for the four of us. Breakfast can get a little busy as it's buffet style, but if you get our elbows out and ignore those people who can't understand the concept of waiting their turn, you'll be fine!

Location wise, the hotel is in quite a built up area of Can Picafort, but it is set in its own fantastic grounds with 6 swimming pools, three of which are great for babies/toddlers. Excellent pool side bar with great service, even in peak season. You can walk down to the bars/restaurants and beach within ten minutes. Great for families, young and old alike. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and attentive. Transfer by hire car from the airport took us 45 approx minutes.

We booked for the second time the same hotel/resort for our stay in Mallorca. It makes it pleasant to reunite far flung families, sharing meals, sharing activities for all age groups, yet being able to maintain some \"space\".

Perfect for families

Ideal hotel if you need somewhere that the children will be happy. Room was comfortable. Could be quite noisy. The dressing table chairs were so heavy that they were dragged rather than lifted so we're extremely noisy.

Nice hotel, near the beach and shops

I had a lovely stay in the Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa hotel.

Pros- that are more then enough sun lounges, the spa facilities is good, close to the shops and the beach. There is three pools to choose from. Very child friendly and they have a lot of facilities for them. The restaurant manger and the one of the domestic staff were fantastic catering to your every need. The restaurant was available 24 hours so we were able to access breakfast before checkout at 4 AM.

Cons- there is a language barrier with certain staff members, there is no kettle in the room. The spa facilities such as the sauna and steam room appeared to be switched off when the staff are on their lunch break considering the opening times was from morning to evening. There was nothing in the room to advertise what they had on offer in the hotel for instance we only found out about the minigolf on the last day.

Great Family Hotel

We have just come back from this fab hotel - We stayed in one of the outer buildings which had plenty of room and a large balcony - inside was comfortable and having a kitchen helped for baguette lunches! Daily room cleaning and towels was a bonus. We stayed half-board and the food choice, presentation and variety was really good - helped with a decent choice of wines and cheap beer, The hotel is set in plenty of space, no issues with sun loungers and the choice of 5 pools meant you never felt cramped. With the sea only 100 yards away that option was available but we stayed on site. Free crazy golf also helped entertain the kids.

Lovely modern hotel in great location

Overall fab hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to the beach, lovely modern room, spotlessly clean, ok breakfast, fab choice and quality for dinner and great pools and spa. Despite it being a big hotel never any issues with noise. We were on 5th floor with amazing views over the pools and out to sea. The only reason for not scoring more highly was due to the poor air con in the room. Despite raising this at reception there was no improvement. We were pretty sure it's set at a certain level to keep costs down...dread to think how it would be in high summer! Despite that though overall great holiday and would thoroughly recommend...just be prepared for a warm nights sleep!
