The welcome at reception was unfriendly to say the least. Ladies in one week never improved. No smile, firm and not interested. Other staff like maids were great. No Restaurant for dinners, only the buffet .

Great all around stay!

My husband and I went with another couple and we all loved it! The nightly entertainment was amazing. They had game night, karaoke, bingo, and dancing night the nights we stayed. We ended up staying at in for the nightly entertainment. The location is also amazing with great restaurants all around! Not a far taxi ride to other beaches either. We also rented a car and parking outside was easy and free. They offer breakfast and dinner buffet, we had the breakfast and it was amazing. We ate at the hotel every morning. I recommend this hotel to anyone of any age!

Excellent location next to nature reserve

This hotel is family orientated which we knew as we used it only as a base to explore the local area. We were on a B&B basis so we are unable to comment on the evening meal. On our arrival we we informed that we were not expected until the next day, however the reception staff handled the problem very professionally and they arranged for us to stay at another hotel for that night. They provided us with a free lunch, slight room upgrade, free wifi and room safe. We found many restaurants within short walking distance fully recommend MAR y PAZ which has an international menu, ADVISE NOT TO GO TO \"SA COVA\". When having a meal you must have a local mallorcan wine which are easy drinking, light and floral. There is a local bus service bus stop just over the road where you can get the 352 to Alcudia old town at 1.8 € each. While there you must try the local beer which is brewed in the old town and served at Es Raco de Ronda. On our day of departure we were notified that we could partake of a cold breakfast for the early departure which was a pleasant surprise.

Just bad reception

We had a great staying at Son Baulo, full of activities, well cleaned, the staff knew how to handle our request to get a room with a view to the beach. But it just lost points on our check in, from the moment the receptionist asked us where we were from, which after we answer she kind of changed the speech and voice tone saying we should left our passports in the reception as a kind of deposit, some attitude I've never seen anywhere I've been before. One star less to them. The first impression is the one that is!!!

The hotel location is great if you want to relax on the beach and enjoy the nature, away from the city centre. The staff is very helpful and kind. We had 4 beds room and there was enough space for everyone. Amazing sea view from the balcony:) We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel.

It is just next to the beach. The bus stop to city center or airport is at the entrance of the hotel. Great location. Staffs are helpful. Don't expect too much on the breakfast.

A very pleasant hotel in a great location on the beach. Staff very helpful and entertainment good. Our only complaint was that the beds were not very comfortable. Overall the good things outweighed the bad, the hotel was very clean and the room service excellent.

Hotel Son Baulo-in a quiet area

The hotel is about 45 minutes from the main airport. It is right on the beach on a corner lot. You can lay out on the sand or rent two sunbathing beds with umbrella for 8.50 euros per day. We had half-board which was good, but not spectacular. The surrounding area is small, but nice. The beds feel cheap and the rooms could be updated (TV was new and descent size). The bathroom lighting was very bad. The air conditioning is only on from around 1:00 p.m. to about 07:00 in the morning. Between those times the rooms can get warm. Parking is very limited around the hotel if you rent a car. There is no internet available in the rooms.

Excellent value for the money and great service

Our initial impression of the hotel wasn't great as it was a bit differrent from what we expected. However, this changed within the following days after seeing how good the staff are and how clean the place was maintained. We are young family with an infant and we had all the things we needed for a good relaxing nice and comfortable holiday in the sun. The rooms are really good size, the beds were very good too. There was not TV, fridge or kettle in the room, but we didn't mind. We only asked for a kettle to boil water for the baby's milk and for sterilising the bottles - it was provided without a charge straight away. The airconditioning did help a lot as it get really warm during the day and in the evening. In short, we recommend the Son Baulo hotel and we loved our stay there.

The situation is the best of the Bay. The hotel is a 3 stars, no luxury, but good food, confortable rooms, beach on your doorstep, swimming pool and gardens very well kept. Service, location and prices 10/10

Hotel confortevole, pulito e in prima linea sul mare. Ristorante vario anche se pensato a misura degli ospiti del nord europa, ma in ogni caso la qualità è buona. Anche la colazione, con preferenza continentale è valida. Camera al primo piano, pulita e comoda, spaziosa il giusto. Unici inconvenienti alla mattina ci si svegliava con un rumore mooooolto forte, ma non abbiamo capito cosa fosse, probabilmente qualche apparecchio per le pulizie o cisterne. Personale molto gentile e attento. Consigliato anche per la zona, vicino a centri strategici e a tutti i servizi.

Der Urlaub im Hotel Son Baulo war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage, zudem hatte wir einen schönen Balkonblick zum Pool bzw. Hinterland. Die direkte Strandlage sowie das Frühstücksbuffet sind ebenfalls wunderbar. Das Personal war super freundlich und konnte alle Fragen stets beantworten, es gab sogar eine Möglichkeit nach Check out im Hotel zu duschen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass teilweise Liegen reserviert werden, obwohl die Gäste sie gar nicht benötigen oder kaum dort sind. Aber ansonsten alles prima, kommen gerne wieder!

Het uitzicht vanuit de kamer viel erg tegen omdat we op een lang dak zaten te kijken en verderop de zee pas zagen. Terwijl alle plaatjes op de boekingsites prachtige zeezichten lieten zien, zonder dak. De dame van de receptie gaf aan dat maar een paar kamers dat uitzicht hebben. Gelukkig deden ze hun best om ons een andere kamer te geven dus na 1 nacht vertrokken we naar de andere kamer wat wel een mooi uitzicht had.

Het hotel ligt mooi, aan een natuurgebied waar oa romeinse graven te vinden zijn. Leuk om, als de wind vanuit land kwam, veel vlinders en lieveheersbeestjes in de lucht te zien. Op een bepaald moment landden er kleine zwarte beestjes op ons die flink kriebelden. Dat was wat minder.

Bij aankomst lag de zee vol zeewier en het strand ook waardoor het er veel minder aantrekkelijk uitzag als op de foto's. Het strand was ook minder wit. Maar gelukkig verdween het zeewier in het water ook vaak en hebben we heerlijk gezwommen. Het is leuk dat er 1 strandtentje is waar je drinken kan halen voor op de bedjes maar het eten is er minder. Voor de lunch kan je beter naar het restaurant bij het hotel gaan. Dat smaakte allemaal heerlijk!

Het ontbijtbuffet van het hotel was erg massaal qua grootte en drukte maar er was veel aanbod wat ook heel goed werd bijgevuld. We hadden geen diners geboekt dus daar kan ik niks over zeggen. Er was elke avond entertainment in het hotel waar gretig gebruik van werd gemaakt door de vele Britse toeristen. Het stopte op tijd.

Ok hotel og buffet. Dog lidt irriterende man skal betale ekstra hvis man vil have adgang til køleskab og safety box, det koster ikke det store men man skal jo bruge tid på at få det åbnet. Beliggenheden er fin i udkanten af byen og strand virkelig fin.

Hotel con buena ubicación y playa al lado

El hotel está muy bien situado, se puede aparcar bien y hay una playa magnífica al lado.
El desayuno buffet es bastante bueno con cocinero que prepara al momento tortillas y huevos de forma rápida y ágil.
La habitación es amplia pero algo antigua. Fallos como no dar champú o mini neceser con pasta de diente, ya que tienes que ir al super a comprártelo para 3 días.
La recepción muy correcta en el trato.

Por el precio merece la pena.

Hôtel décevant mais proche de la plage

L'hôtel est certes situé au bord de la plage mais il ressemble plus à une maison de retraite allemande qu'à un hôtel. La décoration, les locaux sont assez vieillots.. Si vous recherchez un hôtel charmant ce n'est pas le lieu. Le petit déjeuner n'est quand à lui pas varié et la qualité des produits est moindre. L'hôtel est situé dans une station balnéaire donc si vous recherchez la tranquillité ou le charme des petits villages passez votre chemin. Je tiens tout de même à souligner que le personnel est très sympathique et notamment la femme de ménage qui a été très très agréable et qui chaque matin nous accordé un petit mot gentil !
Pour conclure, mon avis sur l'hôtel en lui même (et le lieu) est plutôt négatif mais la sympathie du personnel relève le niveau.

Superhotel für anglophile Naturliebhaber

Wir haben unser ruhiges Zimmer mit Blick in die Dünen sehr genossen. Wurden bei Sonnenaufgang vom Geschnatter der Enten am nahegelegenen See sanft geweckt. Frühstücksbuffet englisch - deftig. Ideale Basis für Wanderungen im Naturschutzgebiet und für Spatziergänge an der Strandpromenade. Wahnsinnig nettes Personal. Angenehme Atmosphäre, viele englische Pensionisten, nettes Abendprogramm, Abendbuffet zubuchbar, super Salate, wenig Gemüse, eher klassisch fleischbetonte Hauptgerichte. Nächstes Jahr wieder.

Schöne Lage

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Am Hausstrand sind zahlreiche Liegen vorhanden. Fußläufig ist ein schöner Strand erreichbar, der hinter dem Hotel liegt und fast menschenleer ist, weil dort keine Strandliegen stehen. Außerdem ist der Playa de Muro innerhalb von 5 Autominuten zu erreichen und ist ebenfalls traumhaft schön. Die Lage vom Hotel ist generell für Ausflüge ein super Ausgangspunkt. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Nebenort von Can Picafort. Bis Can Picafort läuft man ein Stück, wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Das Frühstück war für ein 3 Stern Hotel gut. Sehr deftig und dem britischen Geschmack angepasst - wir waren während unseres Aufenthalts die einzigen Deutschen, aber das war nicht weiter schlimm, wir sind morgens auch immer satt geworden. Hauptsächlich haben Briten hier Urlaub gemacht. Das Abendessen war abwechslungsreich, wir waren positiv überrascht! Das Buffet und der Essenssaal war nie zu voll. Abends ab halb 9 gibt es täglich Minidisco und ab 21 Uhr wird Bingo gespielt. Danach gab es abwechslungsreiche Live- Auftritte von diversen Bands / Komiker / Künstler. Wir fanden die Abendunterhaltung immer gut. Man kann sich abends drinnen, im Wintergarten oder draußen hinsetzen. Das Hotel bietet zudem viel Kinderbelustigung in Form von Spielautomaten etc.

Super gelegenes Hotel für eine Woche

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dies hat uns aber nicht gestört. Die Lage zum Strand ist unschlagbar und der Strand selber einfach top.
Das Essensangebot ist eher für die englischen Gäste ausgelegt, daher nicht ganz empfehlenswert.

Alles in allem aber ein super Urlaub für eine Woche.

Lugt af mug på værelset

Da vi kom var værelset ok til prisen. Døren ud til altanen var åben og der var fin lugt. Da vi kom tilbage efter aftensmaden havde døren været lukket og der var en kraftig lugt af mug og indelukket. Desværre kunne vi ikke have døren åben for udenfor var der opsamlingsplads for turister så busser gik i tomgang fra tidligt om morgenen. Morgenmaden var ok til prisen.

Les pieds dans l'eau !

Très très ravis de notre séjour. Personnel souriant et présent. Par contre il ne parle pas du tout français alors faut avoir des notions d'anglais...ou d'espagnol. Chambre avec vue magnifique wur la plage. Confortable, avec salle de bain équipée d' une baignoire, lavabo et sèche cheveux. Serviettes de toilette a disposition. Serviettes de plage payante. Agréable de retrouver les lits fais tous les jours. Restaurant avec plats variés mais ciblė tout de même pour les anglais. Attention boissons payantes pas de carafe d'eau, alors prévoyez de l'argent sur vous. Tout est sur place, la plage, la piscine. Sur la plage les transats sont payants (c'est indiqué nul part...). David, l'animateur, prévois en debut d'après midi des jeux pour les enfants autour de la piscine et fais participer les adultes que ca intéresse. Vraiment trés sympa. En debut de soirée, il y a la soirée \"disco\" pour les enfants, suivi du loto bingo et enfin spectacle qui se termine a minuit. Il ya également une salle de jeux vidéos, billard etc, 1 euro la partie. Bref idéal pour des vacances en famille.

Отель более чем скромный. Из плюсов расположение, понравились некоторые вечерние шоу программы, вечерний променад по набережной . Минусы все остальное, еда-очень плохо, особенно ужин, завтрак традиционный для Испании. Обед не предоставлялся, пробовали пообедать в отеле, но это, извините, ужас. Скудная кухня, ориентированная на непритязательных гостей.

Rimeligt hotel, gratis parkering skal forstås som parkering på gaden, man selv finder, internettet virkede utroligt dårligt, hvis man ikke betalte for det på værelset.

Schöner Strandurlaub an wundervoller Sandbucht!

Insgesamt waren wir von unserem 7-tägigen Strandurlaub im Hotel Baulo begeistert. Die Lage des Hotels ist traumhaft, besonders wenn man ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht hat. Nach einem Upgrade sind wir zur Meerseite umgezogen, da das Standard-Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zur Strasse durch den Durchgangsverkehr und einer Kneipe sehr laut war. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas abgenutzt und das Bad ist sehr einfach. Das Zimmer zum Meer im 4. Stock war etwas moderner und der Blick unbeschreiblich schön. Das Hotel ist das Letzte in der Bucht, es liegen viele Hotels in der Nähe, die tagsüber durch versch. Sportprogramme und Events recht laut sind. Für Ruhesuchende ist das Hotel eher weniger geeignet. Auch der Speisesaal ist extrem lebendig, laut und sehr ungemütlich.Die Speisen sind auf die englischen Gäste abgestimmt, das Frühstück sehr einfach,aber immer genügend vorhanden. Das Abendessen war abwechslungsreich, für die vielen Kinder gibt es ein Kinderessen. Das Serviceteam ist leider sehr reserviert und behält einem immer im Auge. Auch das Rezeptionsteam ist sehr zurückhaltend und man wird selten mal begrüßt.Kommunikation findet nur in Englisch statt, Deutschkenntnisse sind kaum vorhanden. Preise für Getränke und Essen für zwischendurch im Hotel sind erfreulich niedrig und vom Restaurant auf der Terrasse hat man einen wundervollen Blick aufs Meer. Und zum Sundowner oder zum besonders leckeren Sangria geht man direkt ins \"Bananas\" vorne am Strand. Supernette Bedienungen und einfach traumhaft!

Hotel situado en una zona tranquila y con unas vistas muy bonitas. Las habitaciones son sencillas y no todas tienen vistas a la playa. Animación todos los dias , desayunos completos.
