It's a beautiful hotel on a beautiful section of Beach. Just a short drive into town. You can walk to a little Lake Park across the way. This time we didn't get a room with an ocean view which was kind of a bummer. The two pools are great because kids gravitate towards one and the adults can go to the other. Didn't like that the pool bar closed at 10:00 p.m. when I was just getting started.

My mom and I had a wonderful experience at The Lodge. It was our first time staying there and were very pleased. We got to check in a few hours early which was super nice and the young man and young lady at the front desk were great! Bryan, from New Zealand, helped us with our bags to it room and was just a delightful guy. He smiled the whole time. The guy monitoring the pool area was great and very nice. We chatted on and off through the day. Everyone seemed to really like the job there which is refreshing. I liked that there were restaurants on property so you didn’t have to leave if you didn’t want too. I would say the only downside is you have to pay to park. Overall, an excellent experience and we will definitely be back!

It all felt like a wellness resort. Many outside activities too. Very short walk to the beach.

We went first week in June, we could only get in the gulf water on Monday, double red flags the remainder of the week. Think carefully if you’re considering renting chairs and umbrella. No refunds. Be prepared to walk a long distance if you want to self park, which is $15 a day. Paul from Safety and Security is one awesome dude and went out of his way to fix a couple issues that came up. Hannah did a great job addressing our concerns and made me believe they do care. The Perches restaurant is over priced in my opinion. The separate child pool is a great idea.

This was a very nice resort. We would definitely will revisit this resort again, the rooms were nice and the staff was real professional, We really enjoyed speaking with Paul each day at the pool area, We ate a snack one day at the pool area, it was good, but I think food and drinks were definitely over priced for what you get. But that's ok we loved the beach walking to the pier each day. The bikes were a big plus. Looking forward to the next visit

It is inside a state park & no other hotels near. The room view was excellent though not completely private, only a canvas separating balconies so you could hear next door conversations. The room was okay though there was a used razor blade head on floor in bathroom. The coffee cups were not clean just wiped. For the price & brand I expected a little better. The 2 pools were great & both bars were nearby. The beach was clean & room for setting up chairs. Renting 2 chairs with umbrella $50/day - a bit steep on top of the cost of room but it’s Hilton.

We very much enjoyed the views from our balcony overlooking the pool, dunes, and Gulf. The staff was always helpful. The restaurants on site are varied and delicious and there is no need to leave the property for a meal. We think this would be a fine place to visit for a multi-generation reunion.

Wonderful stay for two nights. Loved the room and the view and the breakfast.
The only thing we didn’t like was the water was brown. Normally we would never take a bath in a hotel but my wife needed to soak her leg. The tub filled up with brown water. Couldn’t tell when we took showers. We will stay again next time.

The view from our room was beautiful, the beach was not very crowded due to the limited access from the public, and the state park had amazing amenities!! Biking, walking, running, kayaking, fishing, shell collecting, anything you can think of!

The resort had a store, two bars, two restaurants, and a coffee shop! You would never have to leave the resort for anything if you didn’t want to.

The pools have been recently renovated as well!

Only negative thing: The rooms have thin walls and doors so you can hear other guests especially in the hallway.

I would have give this review a 5 but there is a couple of things i didn't like. Everything clean and well maintained. Negetives were no microwave in the rooms and no vent in the bathroom so it got all fogged up when you showered. Never seen a bath with out a powered vent. Only 3 luggage cart for 350 rooms, they want you to use the bell hop service. The parking lot is not close to the rooms. They do have valet parking for $22 a day or $15 to park yourself. Easy a to the beach, two very nice pools. All in all a very nice place to stay. The buffet breakfast is a joke if you ask me for $23.95 per person. Ate there the first morning just to check it out. Like i said nothing special about it just the price. We had a beach view room it was a great view. I would stay there again for sure. The inconvencnces were minor.

Great place, very clean and the view was beautiful. Only downside was they only had 3 handicap spots and the paid parking was a very long walk. They had valet but we like to do it ourselves. They didn’t have enough bag carts and wanted to put you on a waiting list to get one. Also, only had elevators at one end of the resort and it was a very long walk to the gulf view rooms.

Negative: parking pricey and a little far from rooms, under 21 pool closed twice so no real over 21 pool. And random charges on our room . It took three different calls to get it looked into, to find it was not ours.

This is such a cool location and a beautifully maintained hotel! The pools and beach access are superb. We loved the Perch and the food options!

If youre traveling as a couple- be aware this is a very family friendly and family occupied hotel. The noise between rooms/soundproofing was really an issue for us during this trip as we were between two families with small kids. It would have been amazing if the rooms were better insulated.
Also- bring your own cart because unless you pay extra for bell service, it's nearly impossible to get any cart to move your luggage.
Just be prepared for those two things if you decide to book!

Top notch property on the beach. We had a beach view with balcony, and it was wonderful to enjoy. It’s a large property so one needs to inquire about all the services, food locations, etc upon arrival so you don’t miss anything. Rode the bikes around the park and walked to the pier (fabulous venue in itself), laid on the white sand beach, ate at lower restaurant, and we enjoyed it all.

newly renovated with updated sleek environment was a great surprise for a state park. Great pools with easy beach access and several great restaurants on site - no reason to leave. Friendly staff. Room clean and updated with high ceilings, comfortable bed and top of the line pillows ranks above anticipation. Easy onsite parking. Much more relaxing environment than that of a high rise. High recommendations.

2 adults and 1 teen. Quick breakfast or sit down eating options. We didn’t get the beach view this time and it was still a great room with a view of lake Shelby. So water views no matter the room. They opened a new pool 2 days before we got there so plenty of room for pool for guests. There are some places who indicated this property had an arcade and it does not. They have board games you can check out for free. (There is an actual arcade down the street.) corn hole and ladder ball were also options. The back porch was a great place to have morning coffee. They also had outdoor seating areas overlooking the pools and beach on each floor which was really nice. Also, the beach is like having it to yourself and other guests. Walking distance to the pier. Not a lot to do in Orange Beach but would definitely go back, at least the two adults would.

Everything was great! Our room was clean and my girls loved the bunk beds! We stayed in a lake view room and even though it wasn’t a gulf view…the views were still beautiful and relaxing. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant one morning. It was good a little expensive but loved the options on the menu and the option of not having to leave the property. Overall we loved it!

This is an excellent hotel with friendly staff at a great location. It’s ideal for a getaway with family or loved ones. The on site restaurants serve good food but can be a little pricey.
The only issue I have is that the music around the pool begins coming through the speakers at about 7:15am, not ideal if you’re trying to rest. I’d suggest putting this back to at least 8am.

This is a signature property for Hilton. This is the classiest place in the area. Service, food, drinks, pool, rooms….all of it. This is RIGHT place to stay. If you are a teenager and you want to party like a teenager, stay somewhere else., but if you are an adult and you appreciate amenities and quality resor, then stay here!

The Lodge is a great beachfront property at the Gulf Shores. There is beach access, the Gulf Shores downtown is just 5 mins away and there are great restaurants on site. The customer service at this hotel
Is excellent. All our requests incl microwave and cleaning were met promptly.

Great location! Modern elegance with an elevated resort look and feel. A well situated hotel with a very friendly staff and cozy rooms. I enjoyed my stay there! The only thing I didn't expect to see was ongoing construction of a new pool section right outside my balcony... All that dirt, sand, and machinery killed the view and vibe of the oceanfront / beach view room I paid for... Overall, amazing hotel and I would highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not your place to stay. There’s construction going on that begins quite early in the morning, the pool is cold and there’s no food or bevarage service in the pool or beach area. Besides this, is a quite new building, the food in the main restaurants is great.

We had an overall average stay at this hotel. The room itself was clean, and daily housekeeping service was excellent, very consistent and thorough. The bellhop service was also good and professional.

However, the ongoing construction on the hotel grounds was quite loud and became annoying after a while, especially during the day. It definitely impacted the overall experience.

We also ordered room service one evening. It was inconvenient trying to locate the menu, even with the QR code system. We ended up ordering a hamburger, which arrived cold with soggy fries and was delivered in a styrofoam container. That was disappointing and didn’t feel like the quality you’d expect from hotel dining.

Overall, there were some positives, but the construction noise and room service experience brought the stay down to average for us.

The lodge and staff are great. I was disappointed in the inability to surf fish in front of the lodge. The reason being swimmers. The only person in the water was me fishing between the end of the lodge beach and the park pier. The wif and I did not find the food very good at the Food Craft dining at the hotel. My food was ok, she sent hers back and was not charged. The park provides a free parking pass for vets to use at all the park facilities and also discounts the the rate to fish on the pier. I would go back to stay at the lodge, but plan my surf fishing in the Orange Beach area.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, with friendly staff and brilliant amenities. There were two boardwalks from the hotel property right out onto the beach, and a pedestrian bridge across the highway to Gulf State Park.
