SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orange Beach was exceptional on all accounts. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and has wide variety of items that rotate throughout the week. Rooms were cleaned as soon as we left, so always perfect condition when return from activities. Staff was incredibly kind and professional. There is well equipped gym and large swimming area. There is great restaurant, Mile Marker 158, outside on the dock. Also, great shopping at the Wharf. Also, Dolphin and Sunset cruises departing from dock at hotel front area. Wonderful expereince!

The handicapped room (202) was spacious and clean. The problem was the beds! They were fairly comfortable but made a loud creaking sound whenever someone moved. I’m not exaggerating, the sound was like popping bubble wrap only louder. My granddaughter who slept on the couch would wake up. I couldn’t change rooms because this was the only one available with a walk in shower.

The breakfast was ok. The restaurant next door on the dock was delicious and the outdoor seating on the dock was relaxing. We even saw dolphins playing!

I will stay again just not in room 202.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was absolutely perfect. My kids and I travel a lot for sports, vacations, etc… This hotel experience exceeded expectations. From the staff who greeted us as we checked in, to housekeeping and even the staff who prepared breakfast they were all amazing very kind and personable. The pool was awesome my kids spent a lot of time in it. Our room was amazing, very clean. Breakfast has so many options and is different everyday. This was definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.

I paid 1058.00 hoping to enjoy a quiet getaway. The hotel is nice and close to everything, at least it seems. I had ants all over the balcony which I did not realize until attacked. There were never enough towels in the bathroom and staff was rude when I requested more. The hot tub didn’t work properly and the young man at the desk (not the black one) had an entire attitude when queried about it. Worst of all, It appeared someone tried to break into my room that Sat evening. I told staff and she said with a poor attitude I’ll send maintenance (they broke the lock off the door, I could have been kidnapped) then hung up the phone abruptly. Upon checking out I tell the nice gentleman in the front about my experience and he apologized and said he would give me points to make up for the stay. He did give me 1000 points, which equates to 12.50. I will never stay here again and if you value your life, you may want to seek other options as well.

The mattress in our room should have been replaced in the 1900’s!! It was sagging in the middle, felt like a mattress filled with hay, and made more noise than a kid on Christmas morning.

During my stay, I placed the “Need New Towels” sign on our door before leaving the room. When we returned, the “Do Not Disturb” sign was hanging on the door instead. I am certain that I had put out the “Need New Towels” sign, and it was clear someone had been in our room because there were now several additional “Do Not Disturb” signs on the inside of the door—when we first checked in, there had only been one of each.

Despite someone having entered the room, nothing was done. No towels were provided, and the room had not been serviced. We had to go downstairs ourselves to request clean towels. From my understanding, housekeeping is supposed to be completed daily, so it was disappointing that this was not handled properly.
