The hotel had a really bad smell to it. I did complain and the hotel staff did come and do something to the floors in the outside hallways! Also a large baseball party was staying there, took over the hotel. Knocking on peoples doors, running the halls, in and out of a large hotel with only one elevator! It was 10-12 haveck!

The only two reasons I would stay would be convenience to the beach and the staff was great! Other than that I wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff was friendly, but that was the only thing positive about this facility. They never came to clean. We had to request towels daily. The door to the bathroom was broken and they didn’t repair it. The tub drained so very slow that you had to wait 15 minutes to let someone else take a shower. The sand never got out of the tub. The floor of the lobby was so slippery that it was difficult to walk safely through it.

The day we checked in the air conditioning didn’t work in our room and they said they were sold out and couldn’t move us to another room. Day 2 they did fix the air conditioner but now both elevators were broken so we had to walk up and down the stairs and we were on the 4 th floor. Day 3 they did get 1 elevator working but with the amount of people there we still had to use the stairs. Horrible hotel.

Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros on this stay.
It’s really disappointing that only one elevator was working with hundreds of people staying at this resort. Throughout our stay one evening, the second elevator broke. We returned from dinner around 10 PM and was told by the staff that the second elevator was broken. She clearly saw we had a baby and stroller and other stuff to bring up. I asked her what were we supposed to do and she rudely replied, “I don’t know what to tell you. we have to climb the stairs also.”
Paying $250 plus per night, this is just unacceptable.

Internet service in the area does not work. Good luck using their Wi-Fi, that didn’t work either.

The pool was nice and it was a short walk to the beach.

Don't plan on purchasing breakfast and expecting it to be anything more than the free buffet you would normally get at any other Hilton. We had triplet 18 month olds with us, and they charged for all three of them to eat off of our plate.

In my excitement about the trip I was disappointed in some things that occurred such as: 1) The WIFI connection was terrible;
2) The elevator services were inadequate for seniors and those with health challenges; 3) The hallways on our floor wasn't always clean especially whenconsidering the hotel appeared to be kid friendly; 4) The pool bar area had very limited attendance.

The girl at the desk when we arrived didn’t even acknowledge me at all while I was standing waiting to check-in. The guy working was waiting on someone else. I finally moved over to his line and he was overly friendly and helpful the whole stay (Mike W). The rooms are smaller than they look in photos. I was charged for parking per day once we got there, as well as another charge on my card but I’m not sure what for because they said they would be emailing me a receipt and still haven’t. Pool was nice and clean. Overall it was ok, but I’m not sure that I would stay here again.

Sorry to say the amenities were not that good. We found roaches is our bathroom. The tub was clogged and it took forever for the show water to drain out. Updated amenities are very much needed. The Beechview was excellent, couldn't ask for a better view.

The staff were the sweetest and most helpful! Starting with breakfast, everyone was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. I suggest buying the breakfast plan. You can choose eating the buffet or the cooked to order breakfast. Both were delicious! We loved the straight access to the beach. Just beware that the chairs and umbrellas on the beach are rentals and it's $45 a day or bundle a couple of days at a discounted rate. The lazy river is nice, unless there's a lot of kids then it can get crowded and loud! Other than that, our stay was amazing!

Upon arrival, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Check-in went smoothly. The rooms were clean and the balcony overlooking the pool was nice. We had breakfast included with our stay and it was very tasty with lots of variety. My picky kids enjoyed it too. The hotel has direct beach access and a hose and shower to clean off. The lazy river pool was great, as well as the tiki bar. Would recommend and would stay again!

Room wasn’t very clean, it’s a dog friendly hotel and there was dog food left on the floor from a previous guest that hadn’t been vacuumed up. They didn’t clean mirrors, you could see in the bathroom mirror where someone wrote on it when it fog up from the shower steam. There was trash left in drawers. Staff was rude when we asked for more towels. There were only 3 sets of towels in our room and we are a family of 4 during a week stay.

Loved being at the beach. Although we did not get our beachfront room that we booked and paid for and did not get a refund for the difference, it was a great stay. We didn’t let it ruin our trip. Friend discussing with front desk who said we need to talk to Expedia and we did twice and Expedia said they needed to talk to our hotel. No they really didn’t. They just needed to change our room rate and go be us back the difference from staying in a pool view rather than a beach view which is more expensive. The dining room and bar were cute and quaint. Very small and didn’t expect a full dining experience that we got

They Could move the ice machine to a central location for all guests
Had to walk all the way around our floor to get to it and was a pain as we needed ice for our beach cooler and cooler in the room and drinks.

The hotel is old. It is in an excellent location and the beach is wonderful. Pool is nice with a lazy river. There is a difference between ocean view and ocean front. Ocean front is nicer and has unobstructed views. Ocean view will be over the pool and you’ll see ocean/gulf further out and won’t really have privacy on your balcony. The beds/mattresses are awful!!!

Some of the pictures on line were not accurate. We were under the impression there was a hot tub and there is only a lazy river. The rooms are somewhat dated and the furniture is old. The view is nice the little store, restaurant and outdoor grill restaurant were a nice amenitie. The view was nice but farther away than I expected. The beach is super nice and chairs are available for rental. Overall good value for the location.

The pool and surrounding area were nice, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. The room and hallways were dirty, and our room had an unpleasant smell. After walking around barefoot, my feet were black from the floors. I can overlook a dated hotel, but not one that feels unclean. The lampshade in our room was broken, and there were dirty cups left on our balcony when we arrived. Overall, this hotel is in serious need of a deep cleaning and did not feel worth the price we paid.

My reservation for a beachfront balcony king size bed was cancelled 4 hours prior to my arrival. Mind you I was on a 9 hour drive to get to the beach. I was given a partial view room with 2 queen beds. The coffee pot didn’t work and the toilet seat was broken. The coffee pot was replaced, the toilet seat was not. The staff was very nice, except for one desk clerk who had the personality of a stale potato chip. We cut our stay short by 2 nights. The manager did give us Hilton points for our problems. I won’t ever use Hotels.com again and most likely won’t be going back to this Hilton property again.

Excellent beach view at the higher prices. We did use laundry room which was convenient. Staff was very nice.
I didnt like the lighting in the room or the power outlets for my phone. The lights between the 2 beds were not usable, therefore no phone outlets. It was hard to get room bright and other electric outlets didnt work either. Be sure to check right away if your shower has hot water. We were out for three days then on the last day, the water in the whole place was turned off, I dont know how long. Happy hour everyday was awesome. Perfect.
Caesar salad with chicken, tacos, and pizza were all delicious. Rouses grocery is just a few miles down the road. There's an super store next to it $14.99 and below. It's true, same stuff as other places. Same 40$ sweatshirt for $14.99
Bike rental is close and State Park is almost just across the street. A must see.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

There is no cell service within the hotel itself. You can't make a call or connect to any internet service. There is no lighting at the street sign or driveway. The staff was not friendly or compassionate. When asked about getting cell service, we were told to walk around the lobby and maybe you can get a signal. We told them the lights didn't work by the bed and they put an oversized desk lamp with a long arm on it. It hung over the bed so you would hit your head on it. There is no security. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Access right to the beach. Lazy river for those that want. Breakfast buffet was very limited and not worth the price. Beware of room scheduling. I asked for a ocean view and got a view of the lazy river, the walk out to the beach, the next door rooms balcony and not much of the ocean. There is direct access to the beach. A lazy river is available for those who wish to use it. The breakfast buffet was quite limited and did not seem to justify its cost. Please be mindful of room assignments. I had requested an ocean view, but my room overlooked the lazy river, the path to the beach, the adjacent balcony, and only a small portion of the ocean.

Where do I start. My husband I waited 28 years for our honeymoon. Booked this through Expedia. Loved the idea for room service! This hotel advertised room service. THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE. I booked a handicap room and was put on the 6th floor. I was never given Emergency Exit information for disabled people and it was not on the door.

Now, the king size bed. My husband and I could feel every spring in the mattress and when sitting on the end of the bed, the top of the bed rose up very high in the air and we went to the floor.

There was plastic on the wall with tape in the hallway and the carpets all need a thorough cleaning! The bathroom was very clean.

Room 615. Check in May 15th and to check out May 18th. I am disabled and the pain in my back was horribly worse and we had to leave! We left May 17th! Our honeymoon was ruined.

I do not recommend this hotel! I told them about the bed and why we were leaving one day early and asked them to get a new mattress so the next person in the handicap room would not experience the pain I was in and my husband was in.

The staff was excellent, that is why I am giving this hotel a one star.

Expedia needs to be up to date on the amenities of the hotels they offer to book.

I should get reimbursed for one day that I could not stay there!

The beach has a sandbar that was perfect for the littles to hang out. The lazy river was fun and the pool area was clean. The hotel and rooms were clean, but a little bit out dated and in need of some minor cosmetic updating. All in all for the price it was perfect for us. I only wish the restaurant was open for lunch because we didn’t want to leave the beach to go find food.

The location, staff, and outside was top tier! The elevator to hallway to room was lo budget. I wasn’t expecting a Hilton property to be this low. The hallway and rooms smelled like dirt and a really old building. I tried canceling and go to another hotel but it was going to be too expensive and I was going to loose a lot of money. Even the candle I used wanting working on the smell.

The room was clean. However there was bugs in the ice machine on the 6th floor. Even though we were on 4 our ice machine didn’t work so we had to seek ice everywhere. Most of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Only has a problem with how the bartender spoke to us about getting out of the pool when it was starting to storm. She could have been a bit nicer when letting us know the pool was closed.

I loved this hotel with the exception of one employee. Her name is Cecilia. She has a chip on her shoulder and is so confrontational and just very rude. She has No business working with guest. I know others will complain, She is That Bad, so hopefully she will be gone when I visit next year. The other staff member s were very sweet. Don't know why they have to work with her.

It said beach view but what I got was the lazy river and a hill off sand and some water. The room was clean. I didn’t like the fact that it says breakfast included but you have to pay for that in addition and you have to pay for parking. I told my husband that the things that use to be complimentary they are now nickel and diming you to death. Bottle water in the room should be complimentary but they charge you for it. The room was nice and the staff friendly but it was overpriced. Did I pay it? Yes. But I won’t do it again. I don’t feel as though I got what I paid for. I was a little disappointed.
