The room was good, for my first time in a Hostel it was good, I stayed in a single and was comfortable but the pictures make it seem a little cleaner than it actually is but I had a good time, Breakfast was good but the hallways were always dark.

Love staying here when I come to Taipei. If you want a cost-effective, no-frills place to stay at that has breakfast and a communal hot tub to relax in, I don’t think any other place else comes close. Even if it’s on the outskirts of the city, access to nearby train stations makes in-town trips easy.

The hostel is located within walking distance of Fuzhong MRT and various dining options, such as cafes and the Banqiao Nanya Night Market. The lobby area is clean and check-in was easy, with staff able to speak some English or open to translator usage. Rules for the establishment were provided in English. Floors were divided my male and female dormitories, with the provided key card needed to access the elevator and the sleeping area, while room keys were used for individual rooms. Slippers were provided to keep the sleeping area clean.
The room was clean, with towels and sleep wear provided. There was enough space to move bags under the bedside shelf and one electrical outlet available. The shared bathroom was clean and showers came with shampoo and body wash. The rooms and bathroom were cleaned during the early afternoon everyday. Noise was low, with doors and footsteps being the only sounds during the nights. The breakfast provided from 7-10am on the 7th floor common area was good. Laundry and dryer machine worked well, with detergent provided for free. There were also spa rooms available next to the common area.
Overall, the hostel served as a good rest spot for someone who spends most of the day adventuring throughout Taipei and the surrounding area. The nearby MRT made it easy to get around and food was available locally.

The location is charming, as HSR, Blue and Yellow line, as well as a major bus station and new Taipeis city hall are all in walking distance. The staff is generally friendly. Provided breakfast is more than what can be expected for the room. The Single Inn provides a shirt and shorts for the duration of the stay (e.g. for sleeping). On the top floor is a hot bath which is great for relaxing.

It was my first time staying in a hostel and I was overall satisfied with my experience! First, I like how they are actual separate rooms with enough room for my suitcase and to lay it down to pack. The top floor has a public bath that was empty each time I went so it was comfortable and relaxing. There are convenience stores right around the corner and there is a station close by, like 5 min (though I often just walked to Banqiao Station which is about 10 min away) The shared commonplace was spacious but the only downside was the water machine broke down on my second or third day but they brought in some water machines. Also, sometimes it felt the AC was not working cause I'd wake up in a huge sweat in the middle of the night. If you're looking for a spacier, private room hostel I'd recommend this place!

Worst hotel experience, no sleep, very noisy

This was by far my worst hotel experience ever. Stayed 3 nights and didn’t get any sleep.
I booked the normal single room (not the small one). All rooms have a very large gap above the doors. All doors are noisy sliding doors with a manual key lock. You basically can hear every noise in your room. When people opening or closing the doors you will hear it.
During the night I could hear people talking, walking around and phones were ringing all the time. I did wear the provided earplugs but it didn’t help.
They want you to change to slippers before entering the sleeping areas (where the rooms are). The place is not very clean and I felt uncomfortable.
Would never stay here again!
The staff was friendly which was the only positive thing at this place.

The room is not fully isolated as in the wall does not goes all the way into the ceiling, so you can still hear people walking by. However, the place is very quiet so there is no issue.

They provide you with a pair of PJs , towels and toiletries (soap and shampoos are shared in the toilet) so you do not need to bring your own. They even provide cotton pad (actually more like super thick tissue) and facial wash.

The room and facility is very clean. You can also go into the shared public onsen to take a dip.

The place also provide free supper (but usually finished before 9.30 pm). For breakfast, they give egg sandwich with pumpkin and pickles.

The place is very near to the train station (7 mins walk) and there were a few shops nearby. There is also a night market within 20 mins walk.

The staffs there are very friendly too.

Stayed here for a few night. It's good considering the proce is very reasonable and most importantly it's very clean. I love the bath soak tub and also the red bean soup they provide for late night snack.
What i didn't like if the noise since the room is not completely covered and too bright. Wish the tune down the hall way light a bit. But can use ear plug and eye mask to reduce these issues.
I love it more if they put mirror in each of the female room and also some kind of cusion on the floor so we can sit using the table

Upon my arrival, i was disturbed by a staff, even worse was that male and female guests exchanged their room among themselves. Knowingly the sleeping area is separated by gender. Bright side was that staffs are courteous, helpful, dining area is well equipped for guests who need to surf the net, watch tv, coffee and tea are served. Maybe the management need to have a watch on guests characters.

Amazing Hostel that I'll like to come back again

Rooms are small but fair enough for the price I was paying for the privacy as a solo traveler. Near to Fuzhong MRT station with 6 stops away from Ximen station, staying in Banqiao isn't really as far from central Taipei as I thought. Nanya Night Market and Carrefour are also within walking distance. The public bath is a bonus too. The only drawback is you need to make a cash deposit if you need to loan a pairs of earpiece for the TV. Anyhow, it was a very pleasant stay at this hostel.

Cheap place for a single private room. The room is a private room with shared toilet facilities. The place is walking distance to Fuzhong MRT station. Floors are separated by genders. Common area at level 7 which serve coffee and tea till 5pm. Wifi connectivity is good. Rooms have no sound proofing. Hotel provides ear plugs though.

Comfortable near the metro

easy to find about 150 meters from mrt station but the room in the corner is a little bit hotter than another and you may hear someone packing their luggage in the late night, not a big problem. I like the most is public bath with hot tub that work for relax you muscles after walk all day long.

No frills pigeon hole single room hostel

This is a \"hostel\" not \"hotel\" that is located 5mins walk from Banqiao Station, a major local transportation hub. The room is \"single\" and it fits on bed plus 1ft wide walk way. That's it. But, given the price, this is what one can expect. Facility is kept maintained and clean. Shared bathrooms well maintained also but it's hard to keep your clothes dry in the stalls. There is a \"Nanyang Night Market\" 10-15mins walk away that shouldn't be missed. Or, if you prefer more run-of-the-mill stuff to eat, Banqiao station has KFC, McDonalds, and all other local and international chain joints. HSR, TRA trains, subway, buses all stop here. So from convenience point of view this is good, and is a good alternative to staying near Taipei Station.

All rooms are single, so not family friendly! Even youth hostels have \"family rooms\", but looks like not here. And I don't think there is a common kitchen like other youth hostels.

Nice single hotel in Fuzong

The hotel is rather stylish on a quiet street ( although a construction nearby might be noisy in the morning). The check in is fast and the staff is courteous. The room is a bit on a small side. There is a desk area but not for someone who'd like to use as an office desk (very low and small). It's a good alternative for a place to crash (better than a regular hostel). But be caution that the wall is not sound-proved so any motions is pretty clear. Although free around-the-ear headphone is a nice option.

Good choice for solo traveller

It's the second time I booked Single Inn. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it.
Pros: The price is affordable, especially for solo traveller who cannot afford booking a double room, but at the same time, does not want to share a room with strangers. The bedroom and washroom are clean and neat. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Soundproofing is a problem because the wall facing the corridor does not go out all the way, but Single Inn does provide earplugs. It's location is not central, but is still acceptable.
Overall, I am happy with it and I would recommend it to solo traveller to Taipei.

駅から近く台北駅にいくのも地下鉄一本で15分ほどで行けます。
空調が一括管理でシャワートイレ室とも繋がってるため下水の匂いがフロア全体にうっすら漂ってるのが悲しかったです。
しかし鍵付き個室で大浴場があって値段も抑えられるのはとてもよかったです。

シングルルームを利用しました。

部屋はスーツケースを広げるスペースもあり、
ベッドも快適でした！
初日だけ30度越えの気温だったのですが、
空調が一括管理、廊下に扇風機で風を回してるだけなので少し暑かったです…。
冬以外はハンディファンあった方が良さそうです。
21時過ぎになると人の出入りが多くなりますが、逆に空気が回って少し涼しくなりました。
ただこの金額で大浴場あり、朝食無料は最高です！！
大浴場は外国の方は使ってなかったのか、
2日目は貸切でした。
個人的に残念だったのは、
部屋の空調とシャワーの水圧が弱いことです。

一人旅で予算抑えたい方、多少の汚さは大丈夫な方にオススメです！

環境乾淨，房間安靜，交誼廳24小時開放，男湯女湯浴池不大，水也不是很熱。不過遇上一位英國人，他說他們那邊沒有這樣的設施，他覺得很棒。
晚上8點交誼廳還有限量宵夜，我吃到的是冰涼綠豆湯，早餐有咖啡、無糖紅茶喝到飽，個人份是三明治夾起司與火腿，3塊冰涼小地瓜，生菜，2塊小西瓜，蠻好吃的。

部屋の上が空いていて、廊下の空調の音が大きくて響くので眠れない人もいるかもしれません。（同じ階に泊まっている人が眠れなかったそうです。）
朝ごはんはおいしかったですが、２日ともサンドウィッチだったので贅沢かもしれませんが１日ぐらいご飯が食べたかったかも。
大きめの共同浴場があるので、日本人的にはお湯に浸かって旅の疲れが取れるのがいいと思いますが、外国人は入ってこなかったです。
それからホテルの周りに大きな市場やお店、コンビニ、廟など色々あって楽しいです。

公共空間很大，廁所和浴室都很乾淨，單人房的空間也算大，有提供早餐。
整體還算乾淨但像牆角之類的細節就看得出髒污，床具摸起來有點灰塵的感覺。
最大的問題還是隔間不是完全封閉的，完全聽得到一整層樓的打呼聲，隔音幾乎沒有。
