My friends and I had a fantastic stay at the Merryday Hotel (Banqiao Branch)!

The location was absolutely perfect—it made getting around the area so easy and convenient. We were also really impressed with the amenities, which were top-notch and provided everything we needed for a comfortable visit.

A huge thank you to the staff; they were incredibly polite and helpful throughout our entire stay, making us feel welcome from the moment we checked in.

I traveled from NYC with my husband and had a layover in Taiwan and so this hotel was just a cheap stop over for us. Our entire Taiwan experience was a bit weird - on our way to the hotel an earthquake happened and our taxi driver pulled over lol, when we got to Merryday guests were standing outside afraid to re-enter. We were so tired from the long flight we went upstairs but the downstairs area seems unkempt and gives motel vibe. The lobby area, however, was as expected. The rooms were different from what we were used to and the bed was for sure too small for my 6'1 husband so its nothing like uber terrible but nothing to write home about

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was very welcoming and, even though there was a bit of a language barrier, they always did their best to accommodate our needs. The hotel is close to subways as well as convenience shops. The room was small but ok for a couple. The only thing is that the a/c fan would make a loud noise at times. But we got use to it. The hotel offers free usage of a washer and dryer!

This hotel was one of the best stays that I ever had. Comfortable bed, large delicious breakfast, less than one block from the MRT, huge wet room, stunning 180 degree view from the 7th floor, free washer and dryer. I couldn’t ask for more!

We stayed at this hotel for a second time. We found it quite affordable, comfortable, updated and clean. 100% worthy. Standard rooms are a bit tight for two people, otherwise perfect for single use. Free laundry service. Breakfast or lounge area is great to use.

Worth every penny

It was a comfortable stay. Rooms are updated and nice, but on the smaller side. Wifi in rooms is poor, so go down to lobby for important and consistent connection. Overall, we were satisfied with this hotel and priced very reasonably.

I had a problem connecting to wifi in my room immediately after checking in. I called the front desk and was given several alternative options, the last one of which is to go to the lobby. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, even suggesting that I try my laptop there to ensure that the laptop is compatible with the internet there. I appreciate the help.

Room size was good, shower was fine but I would have preferred that the shower curtain covered the whole tub. The lounge in the lobby was nice and there was a decent bar at the top floor (lots of craft beer in bottles but no draft beer). Walking distance (about 15 minutes) to Banqiao Station, where you can get the high speed and local trains. Overall, a pretty good place to stay.

Poor service and bad stay overall

Have stayed in plenty of hotels around Taiwan but this is by far the worst. Drainage does not work well and water floods easily in the bathroom. Topped up extra 2k TWD to upgrade room to a bigger one but same issue with the toilet.

Was not allowed entry to breakfast buffet area even though we paid for it. A female manager of the hotel was rude and unhelpful, she just said that it is government regulations that tourists are not allowed to dine in same area as other hotel guests. Room service did not clean our room as well for the same reason - government regulations. Only allowed one egg tart with coffee for the first day breakfast and a carrot cake with coffee for the second day.

Only saving grace was a very nice kitchen staff that helped us to pack some warm porridge with side dishes for us to bring back to our own hotel room to eat. Did not get her name but really appreciate her kind gestures.

Will not be back at this hotel again and will definitely not recommend this to anyone.

This was our 3rd time staying at this property. The only complaint was that we had large windows but they were so dirty it was hard to see out of them. That was very disappointing. We love the proximity to the MRT. We will most likely stay there again next time we visit our son as we loved the size and space of the room but please keep the windows cleaned...

First day of check in the water got cut off till late. Which mean for most half a day theres no water and 3rd day of stay the helper did not clear up my room even i had hang the sign out request to make the room and when i came back to the hotel after a long day my room wasn't make, called up to the reception but the answer i got from the lady sounds like \"its none of her business\" saying oh the helper might overlook by having wrong understanding \"do not disturb\" instead of (pls make up room)... which makes me feel so disappointed and even ask if i need have a change of towel and all...which makes her look stupid...if i dun need it why will i requestto make up my room for? and the breakfast was disappointing as well....the cleanse of the utensil needed to be improved.....

reservation messed up; address and room type

We went to the address on the reservation, but no reservation was found. Apparently, they have two locations and we were booked on the other.
We got the address and went to the other location of about 20 minute driving distance away. The room we were offered was either incorrect type or of different price.
Our Taiwanese friend with a car were helping us, fortunately. It could have been much worse.

大人2人、中学生1人の家族旅行でトリプルルーム。スーツケースを広げるスペースはありませんが、毎日清掃があり寝に帰るには快適でした。

・チェックイン前、後ともにスーツケース預かりしてもらえました。

・宿の周りにはお茶屋(タピオカ屋)が多く飲み物に不自由しません。

・美容関連のお店が多く挽面が宿の近くで出来ました(＄250程度) 。台湾シャンプーも観光地に行かずとも宿の周りにありました。

・観光夜市が近くにあり士林などより空いているため食べ歩きしやすかったです。朝食も朝市のようなものがあり、そこで食べたおにぎりが本当に美味しかったです。

九份行きの965のバスが府中駅から出ています。ガイドブック等で板橋駅からと記載があり、バスの電光表示も九份⇔板橋ですが実際の終点は府中でした。帰りはホテルの目の前に停まるため歩き疲れた足には本当によかったです。

次回訪台の際はぜひまたこちらに宿泊したいです。

Fint hotell og kun 1 minutt gange til subway! Kanskje det ikke mest sentrale hotellet for en turist, men likevel veldig enkelt og tar kort tid å reise dit en vil med kun en enkelt bane. Fin pris med tanke på beliggenhet. Det er også et nattmarked rett i nærheten som er verdt å sjekke ut.

12階のレストラン　沢山のクラフトビール、ステーキ美味しく　屋外テーブルから　夜景が綺麗でした。

部屋の空調の暖房が効かず薄着は厳しいので　冬は部屋着の厚着持参をお勧めです。
清潔でスタッフさんも親切で良かったです。

隣に商売の神様の有名な寺院があり　御利益を感じました。
九分への直行便パスが目の前からでていて凄く便利。　地下鉄も近く　台北駅へ行く際も便利で、街は静かで　ゆっくりできました。
また台北に来た時は　こちらのホテルに泊まりたいです。

ランドリーは9時から22時までなので、できれば24時間使えるようにしていただけると助かります。乾燥機２台中一台故障。
板のように硬いベッド、防音なし。トイレットペーパーがティッシュペーパーみたいなやつで、ロールではないのが使い勝手悪い。
シャワーブースに棚がないので、持ってきたトリートメントとか置けなくて不便。
宿泊料安いけど、朝ごはんついてた。
おかゆが出てよかった。

スタッフさんに伝えたが治らなかった。まだエアコンがなくても大丈夫な時期だったのでそのまま過ごしました。
日本語が伝わるスタッフさんも受付にはいました。朝ごはんのバイキングもおいしかったです。

8泊9日の旅行で、5泊目に台北年越し花火を観るために宿泊。
台北に泊まるよりは安かった。
洗濯機は2台あり乾燥機は1台で、利用時間は9:00〜22:00までで、予約不可。
色々な国の方が宿泊されており、お国柄のせいか？譲り合いがなく洗濯機は使えたが乾燥機は時間に間に合わなく利用できなかった。なぜか乾燥機は最低120分回せと説明あり。無料だから文句は言えないが、利用時間の幅を広げてもらえると凄くありがたいです。
朝食は野菜不足が補え、美味しくいただきました。

お部屋は広く清潔感があります。壁に可愛いペイントの絵が描かれてて部屋に入った途端楽しい気分になりました。
3泊したのですが、毎回キレイにお掃除してくれて出先から帰って気持ち良く休む事が出来ました。
