The staff upon arrival, and the entire stay, were amazing and so helpful! They stored our luggage until our room was ready and while we went and explored the city. The rooms are a little worn down and could use a good refresh with a deep clean and updates but overall not bad. You are also within walking distance of pretty much everything in the old city which is amazing and most tours will pick up only from within the old city so it's perfect location!

This was a beautifully decorated hotel. Unfortunately the same decor didn’t transfer to where our room was located. The room was beautiful but there were cobwebs near the bed shade. Also the bathroom mirror was dirty along with the backside of the door of the bathroom. The staff was friendly but not very accommodating in any menu changes or allowing a late check request of one more hour.

This has got to be the most stunning, elaborate, decorative hotel I've been in. If you want photos, this is your place. Gorgeous statues and antiques all along the hotel grounds and even our own bathroom had beautiful tiling and colors!Our room also had its own little patio which was really nice to have for when we wanted to eat outside or just be outside surrounded by all the trees. As far as staff, greeted us the moment we arrived and walked us through all the amenities and took our baggage-very accommodating. Bed was super comfortable and AC worked really well. Loved that this hotel is down the street from an AMAZING jazz bar with amazing local performers and also the hotel is next to walkable restaurants and convenience stores. Super cute and super convenient. Can't wait to come back!

The guys in the from desk are incredible amazing, they help us book a couple of trips, his service was really good, my compliments to them. Ty he hotel is kind of funny because is in between a Thai hotel and a French castle, maybe in the past there were 2 hotels and they became one, but over all it was really nice, clean , big rooms, pool, I will go back without thinking about it.

The hotel has beautiful architecture but the location is not near anything and though the bed was comfortable and the linen was nice the rooms are a little old but they do have these nice balconies that allowed me to smoke. The hotel doesn't have a breakfast buffet, an iron in the room or a gym for working out. I think the next time I would choose a hotel that's more centrally located with businesses and restaurants and walking distance

We had just about the best room in the hotel, really big and comfortable, with a lovely view of the tiny swimming pool (I never saw anyone in it). Marvellous considering the outside was a concrete jungle and a very busy road. We never ate there. It was an oasis. Staff were very polite and helpful.

This app wouldn't let me rate the individual aspects. Know before you go. This hotel looks beautiful and old world Thailand. It looks very opulent but there are a number of problems, The lighting in the room and bathroom is terrible. It's very dark especially in the bathroom. The pool is freezing cold and it's in the shade. There is no food available in the morning before 8:00 or evening. So if you have an early morning pickup for a tour or to go to the airport you can have a cup of instant coffee with powdered creamer or a black tea And that's about it. The rooms are pretty austere. There are no English Speaking TV channels so don't count on any cable tv unless you speak Thai. So for the money I would never stay here again Sorry kind people but you have cafe and you should cater to your guests.

The property and room were extremely charming and spacious. The staff were also wonderful. I would have given it 5 stars if the pillows hadn’t been the worst I’ve ever used. They were extremely lumpy and overstuffed, and made a comfortable sleep almost impossible.

This property was in a great location near the North gate of the old city. We were able to walk to the local night food market and it made for easy pick up for excursions. The unit had a lot of charm and the entrance/coffee shop area is so instagram worthy. Our feet got very dirty from walking around the room but otherwise the room felt clean. Staff was very kind and make laundry service a breeze. I would stay here again.

My room was very large and it had a nice balcony. The bed was comfy. The walls are very thin. I was awakened several times by loud guests in the middle of the night. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8:00, but there was no one there at 8:00. I didn't feel like the hotel was close to things interesting. I had to walk far to get anywhere. I wish there had been a map or something to help me know where things were. The one time I did go and buy something from the restaurant the girl selling me my drink proceeded to repeat and laugh at the way I talked. That is always rude.

Probably one of the best hotels iv stayed at thus far, the people, the foods, the atmospher and the beautiful building's on the property make you feel at peace, i arrived around 1am (0100) and i was dead tired from the flights, as soon as i stepped out of the grab(taxi) i felt at ease and peace. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Also free wifi with good connections, hot showers beautiful and spacious rooms, also they have security at night, i felt safe all hour's including at night.

I liked the location as it’s not in the middle of the madness just on the edge and only a few baht for a grab taxi and quick to arrive.

Was quiet - I had a room overlooking the pool, wouldn’t want to be overlooking the street - apart from Sunday night when every noisy motorbike exhaust seemed to be in the street.

This hotel is so beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The place was clean and well kept. The restaurant closes at 4:30 PM so it’s only an option for breakfast and lunch but I enjoyed having a few meals and drinks there. I love taking photos on the beautiful grounds. There are so many beautiful statues, fountains, and flowers.

This accommodation had an attentive staff, clean and well-stocked room. The shower left much to be desired since it only had a small dividing glass between the adjoining sink permitting water spray onto the floor in front of the adjoining toilet area and bathroom floor. Mosquito mitigation efforts were apparent with the strong citronella odor in the room. However, overall I would recommend this hotel for its affordability and proximity to dining options and local street food market.

I would not recommend this place. While the staff is kind, they are only there during very limited hours (good luck if you have an issue before 10am or after 5pm). In addition, it is INCREDIBLY NOISY and impossible to rest there due to traffic in the area and motorcycles zooming by (at all hours of the night). Reception was kind enough to provide ear plugs. This is the first time in my life that I've had to sleep with ear plugs...I am not a light sleeper. In addition the area is creepy (especially at night). The sidewalks are tiny and mainly occupied by telephone posts and cables. There are also many (seemingly) abandonned buildings around the hotel. For the same price, you’ll find something better elsewhere.

Fantastic hotel for Instagram, people are coming to see the area and take photos all the time. Despite that, it is very quiet and relaxing. Very good food in the restaurant, chill swimming pool and spacious room. Staff is great and friendly. Not super close to the main attractions but you can easily move around by Grab or tuk tuk.

We stretched our holiday budget to stay in a Grand Deluxe Room as we wanted a nice view over the gardens and planned to spend some time relaxing in the hotel. However, this was made impossible by a construction site immediately next to the block containing the deluxe rooms. I appreciate it's not the hotel's fault but these rooms are significantly overpriced given that between 0755 - 1830 there is too much noise to comfortably relax.

The rooms are large, clean, and have all the amenities you need. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower (but no shower curtain so we avoided using it). We used the other shower but this drained so poorly that you were often standing in an inch of water by the time you were finished. The bed and pillows are comfortable.

The views over the pool were lovely from the balcony. However, the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable so you won't want to spend much time outside - some cushions would certainly be a cheap and easy improvement. Smoking seems to be permitted on the balconies so if your neighbour smokes, you'll definitely smell it.

The breakfast is pretty basic and underwhelming. Unless it's included in your room rate, I wouldn't spend any additional money on it.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel at the moment. It looks lovely but the noise from construction site is really overwhelming, even when sat by the pool. At this price point (we paid around £90 a night) there are much better options to be had in Chiang Mai

The front desk staff was nice and tried even though they struggled a bit with English. My.biggest complaints were that the room was advertised as having a balcony. However, they had sealed off access to the balcony supposedly due to street noise. I paid more to have this balcony and could not use it. Beyond this I also selected a room with a bathtub which was great. Unfortunately, the hot water was not consistent and I couldnt take a bath the first time I tried. Another major issue was the bed which was hard as a rock and left me tossing and turning and ultimately my body aching. Finally, I had little sugar ants in the bathroom.which they did nothing about, just came and saw them and shrugged it off. However, they gave me a huge fruit basket to apologize which I ended up sharing with my tour guide and fellow passengers since I was only there for 2 nights. I alsonworried it would draw more ants!

The building is beautiful! The location is good. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is very basic. And fortunately the hotel forgot the airport pick up. We had to call and wait for half an hour. These things happen, but hotel should have done something to compensate for it. Instead they argued it was traffic. A 10 minute drive with a 30 minute delay. Hot should have been honest about their mistake.

Nothing will ever be the same after this hotel! The staff was superb from the moment that picked us up to the moment we were dropped off. We were greeted with delicious tea and a the nicest staff I’ve ever met. We didn’t know ahead of time but there is a 2000 bhat deposit in case of damages, so don’t damage the room and you will get it back after checkout. They helped us with taxis, massage appointments, and even heating up some leftovers in their kitchen and bringing it straight to our room. They were nothing short of everything you could ever hope for in a perfect hotel staff.

I loved my stay here - my boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights. It was quiet, away from the hustle of Chiang Mai, but a close enough walk to get to most places. I felt safe here, the staff were amazing and helped us book all our excersions. The pool was really cold which my boyfriend didn’t love, but it I found it refreshing. Really interesting and eclectic property and grounds, with lots of big European design elements reminiscent of Versailles. The location is right on the corner of the old town, and is very close to a lot of the main temples and sites. The street outside is very busy though, and I could hear a lot of traffic right out of my room till late at night. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was a little small but serviceable. The room was a little dated, but it was very big. The bathroom was small though.

We went for our honeymoon. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel was in a good location very close to all the action but also very close to the airport. The hotel itself was funny and cute. A boutique hotel is a perfect name for it but.. the pillows were giant and super thick and not comfortable. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The shower had two tempatures.. lukewarm or cold at any time of the day or night. The breakfast was nothing exciting at all but not the worse I’ve ever had. They do fill your minibar included everyday with 2 waters, 2 sodas, 2 juices, and a tasty sweet treat which was nice. Also the A/C is very good.. it looks like it wouldn’t be but it was. I wish I could say I loved this hotel but the sleep I had was horrible and the shower temperature was absolutely horrible. Unfortunately this hotel is a C+ at best for me because of those things.

The blanket was too small for the bed, so my husband and I had to play tug of war with it all night. Too many mosquitoes in the room. The location was too far away from places to eat and things to do. It wasn’t a bad stay, I just wouldn’t go back or recommend it to anyone else.

This hotel is like a Roman structure on the middle of Thailand . The staff is wonderful and are always ready to help ,
The drawback I found is the lack of elevator. It was difficult for me to climb up and down those marble steps .
The bath/ shower room gets filled with water each time I showered . It had improper drainage. It needs 3 large towels to dry the bath area each time I showered .

The breakfast selection was plenty except that hot foods were not hot,

The staff was amazing and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast had a wide variety and the pool was also very relaxing. The pictures try to show how pretty the outside is, but the garden, pool, and architectural blend are hard to describe in words. Location isn’t the greatest to walk outside into everything but that helps the outside ambience. Red truck takes everywhere though for 20baht and they pick up right in front. Still, only a 5-10 min walk from plenty of action.
