I had a wonderful stay at Port Bosphorus Hotel on October17 to 21,2025..
Felt very safe there as a single woman!
Hotel was very clean and room & very spacious, staff at check- in were very courteous and helpful. They offered tea and water while I waited for my room. When I arrived to my room there was Wine, Pastries.Fruit bowl and nuts that was all in my room. I did reserve the room with the balcony it had a king bed and a twin bed and bed was very comfortable.It was so nice to wake up and sit on the balcony with a patio table and umbrella. I was able to see the cruise ships & Port Galata.Its very walkable area and the tram right down from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was awesome and so is the restaurant upstairs.Everything about the hotel was awesome!!!Will stay there again!

Stayed for a night before leaving on a cruise. Port was directly across the street in an area that was wonderful to walk around at night. Took public transportation to the Blue Mosque area and Grand Bazzar which were very easy to access. The hotel itself and the staff were wonderful. We pre-paid for the breakfast which was good but I think I would have wandered the area more to find other options.

The location is perfect right across from the cruise port. We had the deluxe room with varanda. Though facing the port and a busy street we slept well. They have a pillow menu which we woukd have used because the ones in the room were too plump for our personal enjoyment. As with any service industry waiters were a bit slow so I refilled my coffee myself. The fruit gift in the room was appreciated . Would stay here again.

We booked the hotel's standard room on two different dates, 10/31/25 and 11/2/25. The first night is good. The second night, the hotel host give us, I am sure is a economize room instead of the standard room and refuse to acknowledge his mistake. We are very sure he gives our standard room to another couple who have booked the economize room by mistake.

Overall the experience was good. However the room was very small. There was not enough room to have two large suitcases in the space. Its very close to galataport which has a lot of restaurants and shopping which is nice. Its also very close to the tram to go over to Sultanahmet for sites like the blue mosque.

We were very lucky to book the corner suite with a huge L shaped balcony with views of Bosphorus, Galata tower and bridges connecting Asia side to Europe side of Istanbul. Amazing panoramic views .
Also the staff were very kind and helpful, specially İlker at the reception he even gave his own metro, bus card for us to travel. That was a great gesture .

We stayed before our cruise. The staff is amazing, in fact one of them helped us with our luggage agents boarded the ship. The room was modern with room darkening coverings. After our long flights we had an excellent night's sleep.
On top of that, the hotel is just across the street from the cruise terminal.

Service and location were exceptional! The shower was strangely buil, no door and overflowing. Bed linens somewhat could be improved in terms of being breathable. However the hotel staff was amazing and all little inconveniences and discomfort mentioned above are disregarded for the stellar service we were granted . Restaurant on the top floor was amazing. Check in by Yigit was super fast and he offered us a room upgrade to a more spacious room. The luggage attendant was very informative. The hotel breakfast was amazing, comparable to cruise ship buffet breakfast. It’s very convenient to stay if you’re boarding or disembarking from a cruise since it’s right across Galataport. It’s a convenient location because in front is a tram and other public transit options. I mainly walked, it’s about an hour walk to main tourist attractions; it sounds far to walk but I feel I experience more of the city this way.

The property is in walking distance (20-25 mins) to many tourist locations and was conveniently located just a few hundred meters to the tram station that took you to many sites such as the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc. The staff did not orient us about many of the hotel facilities and amenities as well as dining options. So, I cannot say what the hotel has and does not. The property is on the main road and the noise from outside does affect your room.

The property was clean and well maintained and safe.

Overall if you are looking for a modest accommodation in close proximity to all sites and trams, this is a pretty good location.

The Bosphorus was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful, always friendly. We stayed in the deluxe room which was lovely, big and very clean. Only took 15 to 20 minutes to walk into town, or make use of the tram that ran by outside. The restaurant/bar at the top of the hotel was lovely looking out over Istanbul and the river flowing through. Pretty at night all lit up. The hotel was opposite where the cruise liners park up overnight. The only downside to our stay was the roadworks outside. One night there was also drilling at 2am. I'm sure this won't be ongoing, just while they complete their roadworks.

This is my second time spending holidays at this property. I enjoy the All-Inclusive, and the views to the sea are amazing. The property could benefit from some renovations. The A/C in our room was not cooling property and the temperatures outside were 37 Celsius. It is very convenient for visiting the Ancient City of Ephesus and Virgin Mary’s House.

Our recent stay at your hotel was unfortunately marred by a series of unpleasant experiences. The receptionist we encountered was not only unhelpful but also quite rude. To our dismay, he assigned us a room with a view of a useless hallway (totally ridiculous). When we requested a different room, hoping for a more enjoyable stay, we were offered a room with a basement window. Needless to say, this felt incredibly claustrophobic and significantly impacted our comfort level. This entire experience was quite disappointing and left us feeling frustrated. We would appreciate it if you could address this issue with the staff and offer some form of compensation for the inconvenience

Our experience could not have been better. This hotel was everything I was looking for and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They helped me set up transportation from the airport, held my luggage while I went sightseeing after checkout, and they are directly across from the Cruise Port so extremely convenient. It's only a few minutes from 2 different tram stops, and the restaurant provided quick, friendly service and a good variety of food for both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if I am ever back in Istanbul.

The hotel's location is great. I liked the fact that it was across from the Galata port. I had multiple issues though. the most important one was the sexual harassment calls that I received during the first day of my stay. someone kept calling my room asking for S**. I was travelling with my sisters and it was terrifying for us. I kept going to the front desk and they wanted us to move our room instead of investigation and kicking the guest out. I had already emptied my luggage and settled in the room and they expected me to pack my things again and leave which I wouldn't because I had plans that evening to meet my friends. I disconnected the room phone till the next day. The second issue was that i booked this hotel because its a VIP through Expedia but when I got their they told me that they wont upgrade my room even if they have the availability. I called Expedia and they tried to tell me that its upon the hotel approval. I pulled the VIP footprint and read it to the customer service representative and asked her to transfer my call to a supervisor. The supervisor couldn't resolve the issue with the hotel and they send me $200 voucher. the hotel walls are really thin and can hear everything that happens in the hallways. I wouldn't stay in this hotel even if its 10$ a night.

The pillows are a bit too big. It would be nice to have two different types of pillows on the bed. One smaller and softer and the ones you already have there.

The room is very spacious, larger then most hotel rooms. The breakfast is incredible. One of the best I have seen at a hotel. Staff are extremely polite and helpful. One of the best locations in Istanbul. Can’t go wrong staying at this property. Parking is limited so be sure to request this at reservation.
