I have come to Turkey multiple times and have stayed in great hotels of all prices. This hotel is not worth staying in. Not accommodating in comparison to average hotels, not very hospitable staff. It wasn’t horrible but definitely not good. I would not recommend to anyone truthfully to stay here

One of the best hotels comparing to the price we paid for. Their location, staff and room quality were so high. We could travel inside city very well and easily. Location made everything easy during our vacation. Elevator made easy to carry our luggages, room size was pretty large to put them in. View from terrace was breath taking. Everything was good and easy with them.

Tophane Suites was amazing. To explore, walk, take tram or bus and go anywhere we want was very easy. Parking options around the hotel on streets was also easy and cool. Elevator, room comfort, cleanliness and good service was additional bonuses. Absolutely would stay here again.

Location is very good, right by the T1 tram that takes you to all the tourist places. Rooms and cleaning services are also very good. However, the staff is not that nice. When it was time to check out, they didn’t even give me a minute to check my room one last time and they were waiting outside the door the whole time. Made me very uncomfortable. Next time I would probably stay at any hotel near the T1 line, not this one.

I ordered queen suite for 2 adults 2 children the hotel insisted to put only 2 towels when I asked for 2 more the answer was that the staff already gone and that i have 2 bath robe and its mor than enough.
I spent 6 days and only in 3 days i got 4 towels the res i had to manage with 2 towels.
the same happened with blankets and pillows, they charge for 4 peoples but provide towels and blankets for 2.
at the first day there was not hot water at all.
I had a lot of expectations from the hotel but i was very disappointed.

Need A Hotel Name Sign

It was good experience overall except for the hotel name sign is too small.
When we were about to check-in we kept circling the area for 3 times using google maps looking for the hotel but we couldn't find it cause there's no hotel name sign above the building. Although there is a very small one on main door, but it can't be seen if you are looking up for a hotel name sign. Other than this everything was actually good.

I booked 6 rooms in this hotel for a family gathering. The rooms' conditions were excellent. The hotel's staff and workers were very friendly and were always welcome to questions and requests. The location of the hotel was close to public transportation and popular attractions. We had a very good time during our stay. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul.

Absolutely phenomenal stay

I had a phenomenal stay at Tophane Suites! The rooms were extremely clean and modern. I had a rental car that they parked for me in their private garage; the street was quite busy and when I arrived to check in there was no street parking left, so I just put my hazards on and someone came out right away to move my car (and I think that's the norm). While I was there, I was trying to plan the rest of my trip (all very last minute), and the front desk was SO helpful, calling people for me, looking up airline promo codes for me (I ended up with 10% off my flight to Cappadocia), and just above and beyond what I'd expect of any hotel front desk. As for the location, it's in a neighbourhood of narrower streets and alleys, so it's quieter at night. BUT it was still close enough to be within walking distance of the lively restaurant/pub areas and the major tourist attractions (Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, etc). The hotel told me about lots of transport options, but I liked the ~40min walks. Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you want a mix of modern/lively and cultural/historical Istanbul.

We stayed at the hotel 18 days. When we arrived we got a first-floor room, it was ok but the window was very close to a public path (it looked like a base floor). If we were staying a few nights we wouldn´t mind. But the receptionist was very understanding and immediately moved us to the 3rd floor. The room was tidy and clean. Breakfast is fine. There is laundry self-service, which is very helpful for long stays. We have to put a card on the door so they know that the room needs cleaning. The cleaning is ok but could improve. I think this is their weak point. But overall is a very good and friendly hotel and specially very good relation quality/price.

Miss leading!! Not a Hotel more like a 2 **Star

This is not a hotel there are no lobby. This called Hotel- Suite is an apartment building in a very noisy part of the town. The windows are not sound proof and you can hear the people next to you talking. Its advertised as a suites but we got a very small rooms . breakfast was very basic. not a good experience at all.

The good parts are I liked the hotel's location, near the tram station for easy traveling in Istanbul. The room is big and comfortable, exactly as in the picture. In nice, safe and quit place which are suitable for family.

The not very good parts are first the travel agency arrangement for Iznik visit. The driver/travel guide do not speak English and knows nothing about Iznik. I got to teach him :( . Waste of time and spoiled my vacation mood. Second is the late check-out policy. First I was allowed for late check-out. When I reached the hotel around 12.45 after visiting Galata tower, the hotel management request me to leave the room quickly in a bit harsh manner. Whereas, they still have one hour to prepare the room for following customer. Again, they spoiled my vacation mood. Third, the breakfast is too basic. I stayed in another far cheaper hotel at Sultanahmet and surprisingly they provide far far better breakfast.
