We loved our stay at Faik Pasha for 6 nights. The Turkish themed breakfast in the morning set us right for the day and the friendly staff took very good care of us. The location is very close to Taksim square and Istikal street with many food options around.

I booked the hotel for location and charm/decor which the hotel certainly delivered on. I wasn’t expecting the thoughtful, customized concierge servicing on tourism advice and the top quality breakfast. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. The shower room was small but there is a famous hamam on the same block.

It was challenging to locate the reception entrance using Google Maps, as the provided address was inaccurate. We had to get directions from a store owner across the street from the hotel.

Fresh bakes at this boutique hotel

Great stay at Faik Pasha boutique hotel. The staff were super welcoming, friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The rooms were equipped well with amenities and the fresh breakfasts each morning were great. If I wasn’t saying at the hotel I would visit just for the breakfast. Location of the hotel is perfect for a first time visit to Istanbul if you are not wanting to stay in the major tourist areas like Sultanahmet. Lots of restaurants, cafes and hamams nearby.

My favorite hotel in Istanbul!

I loved everything about my stay at this hotel! It's conveniently located - close to Istiklal (about 5 minutes away) and Cihangir. The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Waking up to the delicious smells of breakfast and amazing simit added to the overall charm of this place. It's not your standard hotel, it has an atmosphere and style of its own. Highly recommended!

Like something from a romance novel this place had me at hello, even though my room was at the very top of the 60 step spiral staircase I was in awe at its grandiose, it took me back into another time and created a new story for me to remember. We stayed for two nights the hotel is very nice rooms are clean service excellent and breakfast was lovely many choices of foods.
The down point was that our room was located on the third floor and I have bad knees we asked to change the room we were told that nothing was available.
Not very convenient if you have knees pain or back ache.
The location is not fare from İstiklal street which is up hill so either walk uphill or take a taxi for 20Turkish Lira.

This is a cute little family-run hotel in the heart of Beyoglu. The unique, old school charm and decor invites you the moment you arrive. The location is fantastic for restaurants, bars, the main drag, the Algerian street, etc. It's on a quiet local street tucked away from the bustle. The staff are friendly and helpful and overall wonderful. We had a top-floor room with a comfy bed and strong a/c. The Turkish breakfast spread in the hotel garden is a highlight of our trip. This is a rare gem - we will be staying here when we return to this amazing city. Hopefully soon...

Not a four stars hotel. I rate it one star just for the kindness of the lady at the two square meters reception in another building of where the rooms are located. There is an outdoor which you will get a key to access the hotel. At my arrival they gave me a single room while I booked a 35 sqm “suite” with a camera on the upper corner of the “balcony “. When I claimed my room they moved me to the upper floor with an oval stair of 50cm to the “suite”. Turned on th a/c which was very noisy. That was the only room in the floor which was not soundproof till the point you here the steps of every person walking on the road and the voice of the cars . The couch was very dirty. I had to check out and loose the money paid for three nights and move to another hote.

Impossible to sleep - Stay away from it!

We booked this place and stayed there for week, because it had such a good reviews. Soo huge was disappointment.
- breakfast is Ok, probably the only good thing.
- room looks older and not as nice as on the pictures
- internet is horrible, don’t rely on that.
- no noise isolation (Mullahs song in the mosque will wake you up everyday at 4 AM) HATED that!
It’s screaming into your window! Impossible to sleep!
- it’s not as close to main locations as they advertise! Good luck climbing the hills.

Finally I think I left my jewelry in safe, and I contacted property couple times to check and return if they find it. They never get back to me!

Great Hotel!

Wonderful hotel in a great location - shopping and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really lovely - everything from mezes to pancakes and homemade donuts! The 2-bedroom suite with sitting room gave us plenty of room and we really enjoyed having the extra space to just sit and have a glass of wine. We will definitely stay here again when we return!

This is one of the cutest boutique hotels in the most charming neighborhood of Istanbul. Rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. They also have an amazing patio for breakfast. Staff was nice and friendly. We had a little bit of incident with the A/C leaking on of the rainy nights and they changed our room the day after. If it wasnt for the leaky A/C in the middle of the night, your experience would have been perfect.

Yes, you should stay here.

Yes, the neighborhood is fantastic and the location of the guesthouse is right in its heart. Yes, the breakfast is great and it's true that the dear placement of art and artifacts throughout the place is super happy-making. But the best part of Faik Pasha is the kind treatment of the staff who make you feel like you are at home. A home where someone cares about your needs.

Excellent, quirky and friendly place to stay

I've stayed here before, and purposely chose this hotel again because of how wonderfully friendly, helpful and genuinely nice the staff are. That is that is the main reason to stay.

It's also in a great location in the back-streets of Beyoglu, downhill from Taksim and not too far from Istiklal/Galata tower. The hotel and rooms are quirky and very well decorated! It's like being in a museum or antique shop. The breakfasts are really good too.

This time I stayed in the room on the top floor of the main building. The room itself was nice, though a little hot (but there was air con). It was up a very narrow spiral staircase, which was a bit irritating, but not the end of the world.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Beyoglu/Taksim areas.

Very comfortable rooms in a really cool historic building. Great location! So glad we stayed here instead of in the old city. It's super easy and inexpensive to get to the old city on the train from here, and there are much better placing for dining and shopping in this area. Breakfast was really good too!

Only downside is that the area the hotel in is quite Hilly, so perhaps not suitable for older visitors or those with young children etc. All good apart from that, nice clean rooms, great WIFI connection, Friendly staff. Hotel is a 10 min (Uphill) walk to Taksim square where you can get the Funcicular and then tram into Sultanahmet.

Fantastic hotel close to Istikal

This was a great hotel, very close to the action of Istikal but away from the loudness of the main streets. The staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed for nearly a week, and while the room was small, it had everything that we could ask for in a hotel room. There was also a Wifi router in the room so the internet connection was great! The breakfast was very good, with quite a lot of choices. The room was a very good value and we would definitely stay here again. We recommend it to any traveler who is looking for a quiet, clean and charming place to stay in Istanbul.

Nice hotel near to the centre of modern Istanbul

The hotel is located 5 minutes from Istiklal street, which is where most of the shops and restaurants are located. The room was clean and nicely decorated although considering it was a superior double it was not that large, I can't imagine what a standard double would be like. The hotel is made up of a number of houses along the street so breakfast was in a different block. Breakfast was good, omelettes made to order and there is a nice garden area to sit in. Would definitely stay here again.

Just returned from a weekend at Faik Pasha with 14 of my friends. The hotel was extremely accommodating to all of our needs, and helped us set up transportation and restaurant reservations the whole time we were there. The rooms had nice character and the location was excellent for going out in the evening as well as getting to the Old City during the day via public transportation.

First time in Istanbul - great base

F Pasha is located a 5 -10 minutes walk from Taksim Square/Istaklal Street. Istaklal is a frantic/busy exciting main shopping/socialising area - when you step off it and head towards F Pasha it calms down considerably and you are in a far more peaceful residential area/neighbourhood which still has bars/restaurants etc.
The hotel is everything you want for a base to see Istanbul - use public transport( get an Istanbul Card and shun taxis unless ordered by hotel) which is 5 -10 mins away.
Hotel was spotlessly clean and Staff unbelievably kind. Breakfast was plentiful and a great way to recharge batteries before another day exploring.

Glad we chose this side of City and not Sultanhamet - yes Sulthamet has a good deal of the big stuff - Blue Mosque etc but once you have worked out which tram/train etc its a doddle to get there and back.
The constant carpet shop banter and scammers in and around Sultanhamet drove us mad so it was nice to come back to the \"other side\".

A great hotel in a bustling urban area

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Faik Pasha. The room was a little small and we had requested twin beds but got given a king size. However it was very clean and the staff were outstanding in their eagerness to please and help every step of the way. The breakfasts were memorable in that they were lavish and delicious. The surrounding area is steep and you need good walking shoes to navigate the roads. For the price, I would stay here again definitely if I wanted a city getaway again with great food and hospitality.

Great times, great location!

My husband and I were so excited about visiting Istanbul, and the Faik Pasha was the perfect place to start our adventures. They arranged for a private driver to pick us up at the airport and take us straight there (it cost more than a taxi since cabs in Istanbul are so cheap, but it was a comfortable way to arrive, knowing our driver knew exactly where to go). The decor and ambience are very cool, our room was comfortable (really comfy bed), and the bathroom was larger than ours at home! Great rainfall shower! The location was GREAT!! Walking distance to Istiklal Street, where you can dine, people watch, shop, etc., close to Taksim Square, and a nice stroll to the Galata Tower. Great place to explore Beyoglu from, and very central to getting around the city too (Istanbul is huge!! But accessible, minus traffic). Breakfast was nice too, in their cozy garden cafe. We had a great stay at the Faik Pasha!

Wonderful boutique type hotel

This made my stay to Istanbul one of the most enjoyable vacations I've had in years. This is a charming, small boutique hotel located within easy walking (though hilly) walk of Taksim Square and an easy walk to a quick tram ride to the old city. It's a couple of blocks down hill from the Galantaray High School. If you're looking for a quiet oasis that can serve as you're base to explore this city, this is just perfect. The staff are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Kind, perfect hosts. There's always someone who speaks English around. I really felt like a guest. I was very sad to leave. The hotel amenities include the usual ... internet in the room, TV with fairly limited non-Turkish options (to be expected), both standard single rooms and single and 2-bedroom suites with kitchenettes are available. Breakfast is included and served in a beautiful, little garden courtyard at the back of the hotel. I had a room at the back of the hotel and it was perfectly quiet. I understand the rooms at the front, on the street, are noisier. I was combining work and vacation. The staff were great about making sure I had coffee when I spent the afternoon working in the courtyard. I really hated to leave.

Friendly, helpful staff who made us feel at home

My daughters and I stayed at one of the apartments which was very well equipped and comfortable. The only negative surprise was the four flight of stairs and no elevator, but we got used to this 'inconvenience' after a couple of days. However, this bit of information should be given to customers at the time of booking in case accommodation on the lower floor is preferred. We were very impressed with the breakfast and the positive attitude of all the staff who were all very helpful and eager to please. Location is great. Our thanks to all but especially Mr Jem the manager. We would definitely return back to Faik Pasha when visiting Istanbul again.

Our room-around the corner from the main hotel- had no hot water initially, the shower leaked, and the shower fitting was loose. It was also not that clean. Clearly, it had not been checked and serviced before our arrival.

We had done minimal planning, but the staff, including Murat, the owner, was more than willing to provide us with advice about which sights to see and in what order. The hotel was close to the Tophane tram station (about a 5 minute walk), which allowed us to get to the old Istanbul quickly. The 'family' room we had came with a kitchenette and living room, which was very convenient.

Hotel is in three separate buildings along Faik Pasha street with reception and breakfast in the middle building. Check in prompt and friendly and having a printed information sheet about hotel was nice touch. Taken to our room, right away couple of issues no wifi signal/safe not working/phone not working. First two issues resolved quite quickly, third problem never resolved during our 3 day stay. The other problem was the strange smell in the room, which could have been mold in bathroom as shower floor had obvious signs of same. Also soap and shampoo were not replaced during stay. Breakfast had a good selection of items and staff quite friendly. Generally ok stay, but if in area again would probably choose a different property.

I wondered what it was called Faik Pasha Hotels - it turns out that it's a set of adjoining buildings with the same name. It's in a cute area filled with small antique shops, close to major sites, and quite spacious for the location. We had a large and modern bathroom, and very comfy bed.

Some lovely restaurants and bars nearby, much more reasonably priced than those on or next to Istiklal. The hotel is a little hidden away so print the turkish directions from the hotel website.

We had the two bed room apartment for two nights. It is spacious and tastefully decorated with

We booked a hotel room. However, upon arrival we were given one of the apartments instead. We didn't like this one bit becase we did book the hotel room due to its classic furnishings. We were moved after 2 nights in apartment, and so we spent the further 3 nights in the hotel room. If you book the hotel room, make sure you get the hotel room! Overall, the hotel is nice and good location to the modern part of Istanbul.

Had booked Faik Pasha but was given City Apart Hotel, after this had been clarified we were moved to our original booking, without a problem. Something to clarify for future guests. Excellent service all round, couldn't fault it or the location, staff , breakfast etc at all. It was my birthday and I was even given a delicious birthday cake and sang to at breakfast. Definitely recommend this great hotel, faik pasha, and would book again.

Очень приветливый персонал, отзывчивый , всегда готовы помочь.
Номера очень интересные , отель очень красивый, как музей . Завтраки были хорошие, небольшое разнообразие, но зато очень вкусно . Хороший кофе, что было не мало важным для меня.

Otel müze, kesinlikle gidilmeli!!

Her şey harikaydı, otel müze gibi, her bir dekorasyon tek tek özenle yapılmış. Tablolar, eserler, el dokuması halılar, antik kapılar… çok zarif çok güzel. Otelde müsaitlik olunca odamızı da upgrade etmişlerdi, dublex odada kaldık, odada hamam bile vardı, harika bir balkon vardı. Kesinlikle öneririm. Sadece İstanbula yabancıysanız otele gidiş için müthiş dar sokaklardan geçildiğini ve otelde asansör olmadığını not düşmek isterim. Ancak otelin tam karşısında otopark var, otelin müşterilerine çok yardım ediyorlar. Çok mutluyuz seçimimizden :)

조식 : 전형적인 현지식 조식
