We paid for superior twin room with city or garden view and we got a room on the first floor with big wall in front of the windows and between the wall and window they had few pots of flowers (that was the garden??) It felt like we are in jail. Room smells .Smoking everywhere. Bathroom and Shower veri small. Beds not komftable at all.This is not 4 star hotel.I will not give tmem even 2

I'd stay again if I could get more comfortablecool

Pleasant welcome. Air vent in my room did a good job cooling the room, but it's placement skipped the bed leaving me waking up in a sweat on a hot summer night. Some mold growth in the shower that I think I'm reading to. Clean and modern rooms otherwise. Staff was cool when I interacted. Breakfast was excellent for a Turkish buffet, get you olive and cheese fix. Resident cat was qwerky and cute. Really cool location, in the maze of streets in this area.

Broken leg on bed, single bed was like an uneven table. Pictures that showed up for our room while booking were not the pictures of our actual room. Just a smoky glass wall separating bed from shower/toilet. It is necessary to walk through shower water to reach toilet as the shower is the first contact when entering bathroom. Bathroom has common floor for shower/toilet. Sheets had some dirt on them, same as pillow cases, same as floor. Walls seem paper thin as you can hear people fart in next room.
Hostess was as accommodating as possible but with no other rooms available there was not much we could do. They offered to move us to a different room the following day but we chose to lose our money for the next nights stay and go elsewhere. As a man, I could have tolerated it but it is not fit for a woman. Overpriced for what you get. 2 stars. (Standard double room).

We invited friends over for supper and they will not allow them to go to the room
They tried to force us to rent another two rooms other than the one that we had
For 3 times the money of what I paid
And I kept asking him why and for what reason do we need to have three rooms for?
I tried to go online and book another room with Expedia at the same hotel and they told us that now their system is down and they have no more rooms
I had no choice other than either kick my relatives out or go and rent a room some elsewhere
So the staff called us a cab to go to another hotel
And the taxi driver ripped us off
However we got another cab and we got a room some elsewhere
I went back the next morning and I talked to the manager she clearly told me that it is a nonrefundable booking.
The staff was terrible extremely terrible.

I've been using this hotel since 2014. Excellent location close to everything. 10 minutes or less to Istiklal cd. The staff is very nice and hepful. The manager Funda is amazing, she will make sure you have a great stay. Hussein front desk is very helpful and has great customer service skills The property is clean as always. I will return there for sure.

Very good hotel for the money. The only downside is I feel towels could have been a little cleaner. Other than that the people who work there are great, had air conditioning (which Point Taksim Hotel, a much more expensive hotel, didn’t offer since it’s “winter”), the service is great, and they also let me check out late for no fee. Also if you order from the cafe downstairs they will bring it to your room!

Great stay near Taksim

I had the amazing opportunity to stay at this hotel which is located not too far from Taksim square. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious. Room has a small kitchenette including a small two plate stove. However the room had only one set of cutlery, no coffee or tea, one coffee mug and no supplied bottled water like other hotels offer.

I would stay here again.

The room wasn't as it shows in the pictures.
The shower wasn't that hot. We asked for a smoking room but they don't even have an ashtray (like how???). We also required an iron, but they forgot.
The room is okay, but we were expecting a bit more from what shows in the pictures. It also says the room has a city view, what wasn't true in our case.
The location is good, pretty near Taksim, but the hospitality should reaaaally improve.

After checking in, we were given a relatively small bedroom with a frosted glass wall bathroom. Upon telling the receptionist, they immediately upgraded our room since we were a family. The staff was helpful and nice as well! Great location too

I booked this hotel for 5 nights for 2 adults and 2 children.. hotel reception staff was good.. first night the air conditioning was not working we complained they said they’l fix it we went out for dinner came back nothing it went on for literally 20 seconds and then turn off .. first night we slept without AC though it wasn’t that hot as the weather is quite good around this time.. next day we were told that the AC is not going to work as in this weather all hotels in IStanbul don’t turn there AC on we called Hotels.com and asked them for another hotel and refund and guess what within 20 mins AC was working we stayed for 5 nights and Never had any problem with the AC.. the hotel overall is good .. close to Taksim square but do keep in mind when booking this hotel it is a good 7 to 8 minutes walk to Taksim square.

The lady downstairs was nice and they neighborhood is super cool. The hotel is small but we got our money's worth. I did not feel cheated in any way. I have to say that it is the worst feeling when one feels cheated. A neighbor was playing loud electronic music until the 4 am and that was when we were getting ready to go to the airport. I would stay there again...

Concerning the rooms, the bedsheets were dirty and full of red spots, there was no tissue paper, water drains out of the bathroom into the room... The watch of my friend was stolen in the first night of our stay. Overall the hotel is not recommended even though the staff are friendly (murad).

Nice hotel with big studio apartment type rooms, plus kitchenette and fridge. OK breakfast buffet. I got a last minute huge discount so it was a bargain. Only problem was the wifi, which was unreliable and delayed the work I had to do. Staff tried to improve it for 3 days without success. I was on the top floor - may be that was the issue.

First impressions of the hotel, it looked nothing like the pictures shown, in fact it looked like a completely different hotel. Rooms are a lot smaller and the overall interior is no where near the high standard shown in the pictures. The air conditioning in the first room stopped working and started blowing hot air, we were told we had no choice but to wait until the next day for a solution. We were moved to another room where the remote for the air condition did not work and was stuck on one temperature. Lamp shades and bed covers had stains all over, flooring was sticky. Bathroom cabinet was old and breaking as well as the mirror. The tap was not fitted firmly so you could rotate the whole thing and lift it. Room walls are thin so you can hear people in the next room. I could not sleep most nights as the rooms in 6th floor were near electrical switch boxes which made constant load noises. The lighting in the room was very poor and two of the lights were not working.

Overall finishing of the rooms were poor and nothing compared to the standards shown in pictures!

It was horrible and worse experience of my life! The hotel looked nothing like the pictures, the room was terrible and not clean at all with no terrible lighting, broken toilet, leaking shower.
The reception was unprofessional, gave out our room phone number to other male guests who asked for it and we always got phone calls to our room and got disturbed by random man and we felt very scared and disturbed and could not even sleep due to fear. We couldn't change hotel as we had little amount of pocker money left which we had to use for our meals otherwise wouldn't have stayed at that hotel for a second! Everyone around the hotel area told us to not to stay at that hotel as it's mainly used for prostitution and at night we always heard noises of other rooms sexual interactions which was very disturbing. We had no safety in the hotel as everyone could enter and disturb us and there was no security. The reception gave out personal information of any guest staying at the hotel to any random person who asks for it, which was unacceptable! Never ever i will come near to this hotel again. I dont recommend and want a refund as this place shouldnt be considered as a hotel and advertised on expedia. Its just terrible!!!

Dear Team,

I am writing to you to complain and demand a refund for my hotel stay for the above mentioned booking suiteness Taksim Hotel from May 10-12.

Firstly the hotel has been rated on Expedia as a four star hotel yet when we arrived the hotel is actually 3 star. This is a clear breach and misrepresentation of the quality of the hotel.

In additon, upon checking into the room the quality and hygiene of the room is a complete disaster. Find the attached pictures which show that there is a hole in the wall and all the bed linens are disgusting dirty. This is not was is expected in a hostel, let alone in a “4 star” hotel.

Then when we requested for another room the hotel was unable to change the room as it was supposedly fully booked. We also requested for a refund and the manager but they refused since is was booked through Expedia. The manager was extremely rude and not accommodating and in his exact words “of you don’t like the room you can get out”.

You as a company should take responsibility for allowing such a hotel from being available for on your website.

I then booked another hotel for the second night and the room was unbearable. Kindly requesting you to refund the hotel based on misrepresentation and adverse quality.

this hotel is the worst, we checked in and the AC was not working, the Bed was broken asked several times to fix it but nothing was done. Everyday we needed to ask for towels, they always had a shortage and they were dirty and ripped. the rooms were tooo durty. The Staff are not helpfull at all, no housekeeping during the night only the receptionist. Breackfast was sooo small and sweets needed to be paid. I dont recomend this hotel to Anyone.

Perfect location with clean, modern rooms.

This hotel is really in a perfect location, so close to İstiklal but without any of the noise. Also close to nice restaurants and bars on the Cihangir side and not far from the seaside and tramway to get to other area of the city. When we arrived, we had originally booked a junior suite but assuming the hotel had overbooked, we ended up in a double room (which is ok since it was just two of us). The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, they refunded us the difference of the room after our suggestion and also offered us complimentary airport shuttle and cocktails etc, which was a nice touch. The rooms are very clean with modern facilities which can be hard to find in such a historical area of the city. Good standard Turkish breakfast included in lovely restaurant/cafe owned by the hotel. The cafe also has a good range of coffees, teas and cakes. Would recommend to any friends coming to stay again.

Too many street dogs at nigh. A bit far from public transportation around 10 to 15 minutes. Location is very quite. Breakfast is fair.
Hotel was renovated or constructed couple of years ago. Material used is classy and good but execution of construction finishing works does not reflect the nice design.

Good Hotel for Family.

Hotel is good and ideally located. The Staff were very couyteous and helpful. Although their is room for improvement especially the Breakfast which can be better, just by adding a couple of things like toaster for bread, serving fried/omelet egg rather than only boiled egg. Adding Pan cakes and Waffel to the menu etc.

This was my second time at the Hotel, first was when they had just opened.

Reception guys Kudret and the other night shift guy were very friendly and helpful. Hot water was broken the second morning, but was rectified straight away, no dramas. Wifi where my room 605 was, was not strong, needs another router please. Breakfast was adequate, overall a pleasant stay. Oh yes, like all others said, if you have big luggage, it's quite hilly to get to the hotel, taxi would be recommended.

I stayed at this hotel.with my family for 2 nights.The rooms look very luxury but cleanliness is from 1 to 10 scale,5.The floor was unclean,at afterall,in their restaurant designated for breakfast they give priority to the clients who come for coffe because is was a bar also.First day we went for breakfast at 9.30,all the things were over.And they told us they were going to bring for 10 minutes hot food.When the clock went 10.15 they told us that their staff decided not to add food because you should have come earlier.The only thing good for this place is location.Everything else sucks.

Mr. Kudret was very helpfull and supportive ...his welcoming face expressions gave us motivatikn not to cancel our reservation in the hotel for 7 nights.
