I had a very enjoyable stay at Unver Galata Apart and would happily stay here again.
The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shower was excellent, the bed was comfortable enough, and the location was ideal for exploring Istanbul. What really stood out was the staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Nefi, who was always happy to help.
The reason I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the apartment could be better equipped for guests who want to eat in. There were no plates, glasses, or eating utensils provided, only two coffee mugs. As a solo traveller who prefers to have dinner in the apartment, I ended up buying a plate and cutlery from a supermarket.
I also think the waste bin should be emptied daily rather than every other day. The bin is quite small and filled up quickly, and I had to take my own rubbish down to the street on a couple of occasions.
These are relatively minor issues and did not spoil my stay, but addressing them would make the experience even better.
