Ruined our holiday
The room was spacious but air conditioners weren’t working so we were basically roasted for 3 consecutive nights. Breakfast wasn’t edible. The staff was friendly but was neither professional nor helpful as no one seemed to be bothered about our complaints! The toilet was very old fashioned and not suitable for family with children. We stayed in three different hotels throughout our stay in Turkey and this was the worst! Wouldn’t go back to it.

Highly recommend this hotel!
Lovely hotel, great location, friendly staff, very clean rooms with good aircon. The street is a busy one with late night music but the rooms are very well sound proofed so this did not disturb us at all. Loads of food & drinks options within seconds walking distance, from high end to street snacks. Galata Tower is a 10 minute (uphill) walk away. Plenty of transport options at the nearby pier, be those ferry, tram or bus. Would stay again next time I’m in Istanbul.

There is no way to get rest in this hotel because of the bars and restaurants nearby. The windows are old and don’t block at all the the noise. The bars and restaurants are open until 3-4 am and they are very loud.
My disappointment is mainly because of there was no mention of this at the booking page. When I complained, the receptionist said it wasn’t their fault.

The hotel is good, just remodeled. The room is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. The only problem was that just below the hotel is a bar with live music that plays until 2 am so it is really loud. And the breakfast is really bad in my opinion, just some basic things and not really a good breakfast.

We loved all the reception staff, they were very friendly. We also loved enes from the breakfast cafe, he provided the best service and very friendly. We loved the location as it is close to many cafes, and galata bridge. We loved the decoration of the rooms and the cleanliness, the rooms were just a bit too small but enough space for everything. Only thing we didnt like that bothered us very much was outside disco noise that lasted till morning in one of the rooms, that made it very hard to get sleep. So if you are staying at this hotel ask for a quiet room and everything will be great. Also, the breakfast can be repetitive for some as you get the same plate everyday, but i enjoyed it personally and it was delicious. Overall its just a very cute little hotel.

Interesting hotel, with positive character and good location + charming appeal! However, the street level rooms (with a non operational door on the street) are not exactly 100% reassuring from a security perspective, however this is Singapore (we are told its safe)!
I experienced mixed service between excellent and awful (from 2 different front office staff) and the only other disappointment was breakfast … School dormitories can offer better choice and service, the limited option and overall experience of breakfast room is 2 star to be generous!

Er waren slechts 2 handdoeken terwijl we met 4 personen daar verbleven. Tevens slechts 1 donsdeken terwijl we 2 bedden hadden. Bij navraag bleken er geen extra donsdekens aanwezig. Hoe kan dit??? Op een bed mag toch minstens een (dons)deken liggen?
In de badkamer en douche was veel schimmel aanwezig. Zelfs na het poetsen was er overal stof in de kamer.
Het ontbijt was zeer miniem, zeker geen aanrader.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, jedoch kann man abends nicht schlafen wegen der Lautstärke. Zu Fuß ist alles erreichbar. Leider ist das Hotel nicht ganz so sauber, insbesondere das Bad. Und Roomservice war auch mangelhaft Toilettenpapier hat immer gefehlt.

Lage und Hotel in Ordnung. Wir hatten einfach Pech mit dem Personal und dem Service. Außen hui, innen pfui. Was man erwähnen sollte, es gibt kein Frühstücksbuffet. Das Frühstück wird in einem Cafe neben dem Hotel serviert. Ihr kriegt hierfür ein Frühstücksteller (in unserem Fall, wenig Zutaten und nicht frisch). Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, wenn wir was extra wollen müssen wir bezahlen. Deshalb haben wir immer auswärts gefrühstückt. Personal sehr unfreundlich. Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen. Zum Glück gibt es im wunderschönen Istanbul sehr viel mehr Möglichkeiten.
