I booked this hotel 2 years ago, the breakfast with the view was really amazing, today it is very limited and doesn't worth the money.
Regarding the hotel I paid 120 euro at 6 am because they never pick the phone even for Expedia to manage the best option for me to check in early so I had to pay, the manager said he will investigate but never back to me . Really bad service , roam is good , clean but the Side view is really bad an noisy

Hotel desgin and room was nice and modern. However, rooms were full of dark mirrors not even one mirror to use for shaving or make up exists. They had an on going constrution so the breakfats area was temporary with all glass and beautiful view. However, it was small with no shade to be protected from strong sun rays and heat. There were no buffet but designated tray for breakfast. The breakfast itself was good but receivjng the setvice was terrible. Sounds liked they are trying but they lack a good management. Lobby was small but nicly decorated and clean

The location of tgis hotel is beautiful and in the middle of istanbul and in a front of the Bosphorus river. Near by the bus station and metro staion was the best. The staff is really friendly and the food is good. The only thing they didnt offer is VIP benefits because we reserved this hotel as VIP members.

The staff are very friendly and are eager to assist you as soon as you walk in. The location of the hotel is fantastic as well. Walking distance to several places you’ll probably visit. The rooms are slightly above average. The deluxe room felt small. I had to work one day and there was no desk. There were some minor places that weren’t cleaned to perfection. However I had to look for it as I had read previous reviews saying that rooms weren’t clean. I didn’t find that to be the case as I had to go through the entire room to find a minor ring stain on the bedside table. My slight concern is the price. There were 5 star hotels (granted in other areas in Istanbul) that were very close in price to here. So, if you will just use room to sleep and get out and about first thing in the morning, then this would be a good choice. If you are planning to spend some time in the room especially for work if need be then the deluxe room might not do. Finally my last concern was noise and sounds coming from other rooms. The walls are paper thin. I could hear murmur of TV or whatever was on in the other room. When other guests in other rooms were talking I could hear them and sometime I could understand what they were saying. If you are a light sleeper and you have a noisy guest in the room next to yours then you’ll probably not have a restful night. You’ll have to decide what matter to you the most and decide.

My recent stay at Metropolitan Hotels Bosphorus marked my third visit to this esteemed establishment, and while the overall experience remained positive, there were certain aspects that stood out.

First and foremost, the hotel's location is simply unbeatable. Situated on the main street opposite the Fındıklı tramway station (T1), the convenience and accessibility offered by this prime spot are unparalleled. From my perspective, it's not just perfect—it's beyond perfect.

The staff at Metropolitan Hotels Bosphorus deserve commendation for their kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism. The reception employees, in particular, exemplify these qualities, making every interaction a pleasant and welcoming experience.

Azure the Bosphorus, the hotel's restaurant, offers more than just a meal—it provides a feast for the senses with its breathtaking views of the Bosphorus. The open buffet caters to every palate, offering a diverse array of options that make breakfast a delight. While there may be superior open buffets elsewhere, the one at Metropolitan Hotels Bosphorus is certainly worth sampling.

The rooms at the hotel are impeccably clean and well-appointed, although I did encounter a few minor issues during my recent stay. The absence of a desk and chair in my room was a departure from previous visits, albeit not a significant inconvenience. The hotel looked amazing online, & when I arrived it was nothing like the pics. We had two twin size beds that were hard as a rock. There was sooooo much noise and people banging things in the middle of the night, we barely slept. The entire staff was soooooo rude, never a hello or good night and behaved as if they are doing us the favor. Never discussed the bare ammenities and accused of us eating a wafer they told us was free and wanted to add to our bill. The restaurant is nice but very pricey & they refused to give us to go boxes. They said they would have the food it sent to our room and never did! There was a fire alarm that went off twice and the smell of an electrical fire that they dismissed and told people to go to their rooms. Awful stay dont waste your money!!!!!

Hands down the best hotel! My go to hotel when I travel to istanbul. The hotel team is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are super clean and spacious. It is at a superb location with very easy transport. The restaurant on the 7th floor serves quality food and has an amazing view of the Bosphorus bridge. The food and drinks are exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfy stay!

This is one of the worst experience I had, I've been here for a week and I really hate to say your operation is not meeting any expectations, examples just for today at 10:40 AM the room service just used his master key and open my room without knocking !!! This is the second time it happen during my stay, I was naked and I was shocked it's happening again!!
When I went to the front desk they said they thought I've checked out, which is hard to believe
I had a reservation it was on the 6th floor, I left my bag and went out, when I came back the said we have sold out on the 6 floor, the only available is on the second floor, you can take it or you can cancel your reservation, I ask to speak to the manager, they said there is no manager, you can call the police if you want !!
Really!! That is the service you offer ? This is how you treat people?

It was my worst experience ever , actually i booked for 1 night because i have business to do next day , they gave me room number 6008 when i enter the room and trying to sleep after long trip there was a noise coming from the upper room, i called the reception it was 12 midnight they told me we will send someone to stop this noise, but nothing happened the noise was rapidly increasing till 4 am and every 1 hour i was calling the reception with the same reply we will send some one to ask for stopping noise they totally collapsed my rest the noise completely not stopped until 7 am.

When i did my check out the staff Told me sorry for what happened because we are moving new furniture on the top floor which is restaurant what a bad reply like this i couldnt imagine such a non polite reply like this.

Then they said maybe you are little sensitive about the noise sound, how can someone says this to a guest who pay from his money to take rest they want me to be patient with there noise.

I accidentally booked the room for one guest and when I arrived at the hotel they said they need to charge extra money for the other guest but the price was same on Expedia... it’s not about the money I paid it but their behavior is 0000000... The Hotel having friendly staff and clean,However, i had two surprises after check in, first the parking was not free, when i was booking the hotel i saw clear (parking available) but it was mentioned some where else in bottom, that it cost 5 euro per day, second, my deluxe room in the photos show nice windows, after check in, i found the room like a box having small side windows which was not expected in 4 stars hotel, for me that was deception and not fair.
One more thing there was no water kettel in the room to boile some water, we couldn’t make any coffee or tee and this was first time for me i see hotel without this amenities.

Actually its not my first time with this amazing hotel but unfortunately i had a very bad experience this time.

I came from a long journey to had a rest my room was on 6th floor, when i went to my bed 11 o'clock there was a music loud and when i spoke to the reception they told me there is a lounge closed at 12.
I was patient till 12 just because i have a flight next day and i cant waste my time to change the hotel, suddenly the hotel staff after 12 they start to arrange the lounge chairs and the sound was like a disaster for more than 1 hour.

I called the reception many time and every time the reply was we will finish this issue soon.

I was expecting a bit professional way to finish this issue but unfortunately it was not.

My stay at Metropolitan was mixed , very clean hotel and lovely Bosphorus view from the restaurant . Service not so great had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to check in, no help bringing in luggage or taking out to the taxi which wasn’t helpful. Room was quite dark and was told after first night room service wasn’t available after 1pm from the cleaner and he would do it next day. So I then had to ask reception twice for water that day but did not come. Breakfast was average but breakfast staff were very nice unlike the late night staff for food and shisha which weren’t good at all.

I only have one comment, I dont appreciate chaging me for a room with a sea view, then surprise me with a huge building infront of my room. its not fair. i talked to the staff to change to higher floor, and they promised to do it next day, but then said we are fully booked and we can not.

We enjoyed staying in the hotel, especially the room overlooking the Bosphorus was large and beautiful, and the reception was great, especially Brother Jihan and sister Sara, but there is only a small note and I do not think I would like to stay. It is cleaning the room was not the responsibility of the maid and I hope to do the best.

The overall experience can be rated as poor:
- The hotel is clean and rooms are clean
However, the hotel is not at all luxurious hotel as they are saying over their website. first we arrived my husband and I, at 13:00 and asked if the room was ready they said it needs 30 min, they kept us waiting until 14:00 to get the room however it was ready because I have asked the receptionist about it around 13:45 he said he texted the concerned person to check but they didn’t read their whatsapp!!! What a hotel to communicate through whatsapp!! The room view was an old building,I have asked for a room upgrade They said they have full occupancy which wasn’t true because I have tried even on the same day to book rooms and was able to do so, i have asked on my last day for a late checkout they said they can give me until 13:00pm via email but when I had to checkout on the last day they called me to leave the room at 12:00pm.
I think the hotel doesn’t deserve its high rating by the customers and if you are looking for a luxurious hotel this is not the correct choice.
If I knew previously I would have chosen a much better hotel for the same price.
Besides, your wifi connection is blocked upon checkout. I’ve been to many hotels around the world this is the forst time in my life I get blocked on the wifi connection upon check out.
I am going back to Istanbul next month and will not stay in this hotel definitely!

My experience in this hotel was amazing good!
The hotel is new, has a nice design, super good location and friendly and helpful staff!
It would suit best for business travellers or for a touristic weekend-stay.
The room (6 floor) was spacious, clean, with the sea view. I was surprised by the good soundproof windows, that reduce outside noise to minimum!
Good location - close to touristic places both on foot or by the tram line.
Breakfast was overall good, except the pastries..which were poor quality.
Overall very positive experience, I'm very happy with the stay and services in this hotel! Would definitely recommend it!!

Albeit the bookings section does state twin beds available.. I would say they don’t offer twin single rooms whatsoever but an additional makeshift single bed (foldable). Well it was the last destination in our honeymoon, it didn't start good as i have requested by email an early check-in one month before our visit but my room was occupied and the reception guy didn't want to give another temporary for 4 hours to rest after a long flight as they cant clean twice a day. He informed me that there is an empty room and i can take it instead of my room but i should stay the whole vacation in it which its going to be a downgrade. So i didn't like how it started.
But all in all the hotel is really nice and in a perfect location. Very clean and beautiful. View from my room was amazing and the restaurant staff were friendly. Shisha on the rooftop is recommended with the Bosphorus view.

Stay was good. Rooms are spacious but because of the decor require better cleaning lots of dust especially near the place where I was supposed to keep toiletries between the wood bars decor. Staff were really helpful and tram station 2 minutes walk.
