We loved the location of this hotel, right in Old Town Sarajevo - all pedestrian area. A small 8 room hotel but excellent service. The three young ladies at the front desk during the time we were there helped us with some aspect of our trip - from calling a taxi, helping with directions, offering coffee, restaurant recommendations and restaurant reservation calls. They were super to work with and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Only negative - our room had a very low slanted ceiling, easy to hit your head when getting up in the middle of night (or anytime). We would stay there again!

Can’t beat the location!

Very centrally located, in old town on the pedestrian street, just a few minutes from the center. The rooms were nice but quite small, without a fridge or many extra amenities. It was fine for two of us for two days, but it’s important to keep in mind the small size. The staff helped with arranging airport transportation, and the breakfast was quite good. There was coffee and water and fruit available throughout the day which was appreciated. Honestly felt more like a nice hostel, in a good way. Would stay there again.

We ordered the superior double room and when we arrived they didn’t have any and we were out in a tiny room and there was no service at the desk in the early morning. Location was good but otherwise we didn’t get our moneys worth at all and there was no one to speak to to get a refund.

This is THE best property to stay at in Sarajevo. I stayed at another for a night before switching here and it felt like such a relief upon checking in. The room was so comfortable, clean and I loved that the TV had Netflix available. It’s right in the old town center, very near the copper street and has a ton of food and cafes right outside the door. The staff was excellent and I will definitely be recommending this to everyone I know!

Located in the heart of old Sarajevo. Modern decor, comfortable rooms, no noise in the room and reception staff were very polite and helpful. Complimentary Coffee (machine) , fruit and traditional biscuits were in lobby for guests to use. Hotel was clean. Highly recommended.

A small, central, and cozy hotel.

A small and cozy hotel centrally located in Sarajevo's old town. The room could have been a bit larger for my taste, and it would have been nice to have a refrigerator, but the central location more than made up for it. It was close to everything you might need in terms of food and drink, and despite the hotel having an entrance directly on a street in the old town, the room was very quiet and comfortable.

Hotel Old Sarajevo is a gem. Its location is ecxellent. Our room was clean and modern, with a huge comfy bed. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and it was great to have access to good coffee at any time of the day or night. The staff were friendly, professional and so helpful, advising us onbwhere to go and making bookings for us.

Charming hotel right in the middle of Old Sarajevo. It’s a bit difficult to get to by car because the street isn’t drivable but road and tram access close by. Dining and markets right out the front door. The hotel doesn’t have an elevator though so one thing to be aware of. Staff super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Great location, right in the heart of old town, which can be a downside sometimes, if there is an event nearby you will definitely hear it but overall I'd stay there again. Great service and recommendations from reception on where to eat, etc and the very lovely reception today even exchanged some Euros for me and gave me a few marks extra just in case I needed it for the taxi to the airport! Talk about great service!

This is the perfect location in the old town. Rooms are clean and very comfortable (especially the beds). Was surprised by how quiet it was as well. Staff were very nice and accommodating. The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast.

The room was lovely and clean, but the staff was what made the experience amazing. They were helpful and kind. I got sick one night and had to stay in the room the whole next day, and the woman at the desk brought me tea and chicken soup which she had to get outside the hotel without my asking.

Tranquil hotel in the hubbub of Sarajevo old town

Nice hotel, small boutique-y feel. Great location in the hubbub of the old town but the hotel itself feels calm and tranquil. Helpful, friendly staff. The only thing I’d say is that the breakfast is limited and some days there was very little on offer, plus the coffee machine had broken. But overall, I’d recommend.

Good place in old town

I give the service here a rave review! The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They gave me recommendations for food and activities (real recs, not sales pitches for friends’ businesses), and called a backup taxi when my ride to the airport didn’t show up (and hauled my suitcase out to the paxi pickup and gave the driver instructions). The owner paid for a breakfast at a nearby restaurant when an epic storm sent water from the street into their kitchen overnight. The desk clerk fed me tea and scrumptious cookies when I arrived wet from a rain shower. And everyone was eager to answer my many questions about the realities of life in Sarajevo and the effects of the war. (Bear in mind,though, that staff turnover in Sarajevo accommodations is very high...)

As for the facilities, they were decent but not top-notch. The room was clean and well maintained, but very small and quite cramped. The shower stall had no door, so the bathroom floor was covered with water after a shower, and the sink was tiny. The on-site breakfast spread was good, but I’ve had more selection at other places I’ve stayed in the Balkans.

The location is excellent, in the old district and an easy walk to attractions, a huge number of restaurants and shops, and public transit. Parking would be a hassle if you had a car, but that’s true anywhere in the old district.

In short, I had a wonderful experience here thanks to the hotel staff, but in six months it could be totally different.

A wee gem! :-)

Right in the heart of old Sarajevo, this is a gem of a hotel. It has an interesting decor, reminiscent of Northern Europe, but very helpful and friendly staff. Great coffee too!
The room is clean and functional. There was a slight issue with water pressure when I was there, but nothing that stopped my enjoyable stay. So close to the restaurants and other facilities.
I will definitely come and stay here a gain.

It is located in the Old Town so it's perfect. I don't mind the noise, it is exactly the reason why I have chosen the location.

My husband had slip disc during our visit so we are pretty much confined to the hotel. Our room was just one level up from the reception but going up the staircase with his condition was not helpful. The guest before us had used the kettle to boil rice and had somehow locked the smart tv access to just Turkish channels. Hotel staff were the most delightful people and tried very hard to help. But basic rule in welcoming new guests is: ensure every thing in the room is clean and works, kettle, tv, towels etc. We ended up watching youtube channels and BBC news in the end.

Also as a safety measure, the glass panel in the shower and at the staircase seems flimsy. May not be good for families with children.

It was a good hotel with a good potential. They just need to buck up and set their standards right.

Great location and the rooms were in excellent shape. One of the staff—Amna—was excellent, but the others seemed to think service was a burden. In addition, our rooms were not adequately cleaned—dirty coffee cups not removed, trash not emptied, toilet paper not replaced, etc. Breakfast was very mediocre. We will use another hotel when we return.

I had booked the hotel based on the reviews and was very glad I did. The front desk staff, Benjamin and Laila were amazingly helpful and nothing was too difficult for them to check or assist with. Laila called the airport and the bus companies numerous times just to confirm the airport bus schedules for me (because we were given conflicting answers). And to top it off an amazing restaurant serving delicious Bosnian cuisine is right opposite the hotel. Search no more. This is where you will want ti stay in Sarajevo!

Excellent for our one night stay in transit from Mostar to Sarajevo airport. Great location in the old town, with easy access to taxi pickup about 30 metres down the road. Staff were great, breakfast good, and room excellent. May be a bit small for an extended stay, but suited our purpose well. Great restaurants and cafes very close.

Fantastic hotel!

Location is absolutely perfect in the old town - the restaurant opposite serves the best Cevapi! Hotel itself is brilliant - friendly and helpful staff, really comfortable beds and nice sized rooms. Would highly recommend and certainly will be our first choice when we next visit Sarajevo, I would not consider looking anywhere else.

A great stay in Sarajevo at the Old Sarajevo

Despite the name, the hotel is very new and could not be better situated for the old town and market. As you walk out of the front door, the smell of the food is amazing and you are immediately tempted by any of the bright and friendly restaurants on the street.
The rooms are small but beautifully decorated and set out. The breakfast is good and the staff were all exceptional- our receptionist took time to investigate how I could visit a football game in the city and updated me on my return from wandering the old town.

This is a small, bright newly opened hotel in the center of old town, on a pedestrian street with many restaurants just outside. My single room was quite small, but it has good air conditioning. It was well designed and comfortable. Good breakfast and wifi.
