This is one of kind property in this area. Cinque Terre is a region consisting of a few village stuck between the mountain and the Mediterranean Sea, the sharp landscape and views are world-renowned.
The hotel itself is settled in a mountain side, overlooking the sea, the views are stunning. The property consists of bungalows and tents, it is rustic but well thought, and well kept. The swimming pool area is gorgeous, although a 5-10 minute walk depending on what side of the property your room is located. The restaurant serves high end delicious dishes, although pricey and in small quantities, don't expect to be full if you eat there...
The room prices are equivalent to a 5 star hotel anywhere else, and the hotel is remotely located, about a 30 minute drive from the glamorous Ligurian coast, places like Rapallo and Portofino are even further out.
I would recommend Sesta Terra for couples who want to stay in a remote comfortable and quite place, without any needs to move anywhere around, the mountain roads are not easy to drive, and even dangerous at times depending on the weather. The rooms rates are on the higher end, and maybe one should think twice before paying such a price to stay in a wooden cabin...

We stayed in one of the canvas tents, which was wonderful and a great experience. The view from the accommodation is truly beautiful and the walk over to the restaurant and spa is very easy. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The view and experience staying in the canvas tent was the best part for us.

This property is gorgeous and the perfect place to unwind. My husband and I stayed in one of their tent rooms for the last part of our honeymoon. We used the shuttle service often, the pool was amazing. The tent rooms were so peaceful and lovely with lots of fans since no AC. but we didnt mind at all.
After our last day we checked out and realized we forgot our passports in the safe. The team there was SO HELPUL in making sure we could conveniently get them, we really appreciate their help! Will definitely come back. Loved this property.

I wish we had stayed longer
This is an amazing place to relax and rejuvenate. The food is good and the views are spectacular. Each cabin/tent feels very private but to get that sense of privacy, be prepared to walk a lot. Also we had three children under the age of 10 and while that was ok, I feel the place is better suited to teenagers and adults.

We discovered Sesta Terra totally by accident on our trip to Monaco. We were only going to stay one night, but we extended it to two nights. This was the best place I've ever stayed in Europe. If you like a remote mountain location with sea views and serenity, great accommodations and friendly staff, then Sesta Terra is for you. We will be back soon!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! The staff was so attentive & helpful. The location is a short shuttle drive to train, then 12 minutes to Monterosso/Cinque Terra. We stayed in one of their canvas tents, overlooking the sea. We will definitely be back.

Another lovely stay.
This was our third stay. It is in a stuning location, with easy access to Cinque Terre by rail. There were more young children which meant our children didnt get seperate beds the first night and I had to make up their double into seperate duvets with our top sheet, the hotel just supplied two uncovered duvers when asked.
Restaurant has lovely view and good food. Pool is 10 min walk up hill through the olive groves if you are staying in the lodges, nearby if you are in tents.

This was our second stay. It really is a beautiful location. This time we stayed in the tents. They really are like normal rooms except no AC. Most nights it was cool enough we kept the duvet. They are closer to the pool than the cottages but you have a short walk to the restaurant.

this property was very unique and breathtaking. they just opened, so some inconveniences will be adjusted with time i’m sure! the owner was very kind, the town is charming. the shuttle experience could be adjusted a bit, you must call to get the shuttle, but if you don’t have service you tend to find yourself in a bit of a rut.

The hotel has a stunning position with a wonderful view, the cottages are spacious with two seperte single beds for the children. The meals were great, especially the Thurs eve buffet. The infinity pool is amazing with large loungers and space. There are lovely touches like fresh orchids in room, hand made glasses, flip flops and embroidered towels.
My 7 and 9 year olds describe it as brilliant and amazing.
Only slight negatives is due to building delays they are just finishing off landscaping and it is a 5 minute walk to the pool from the cottages (its by the canvas lodges), but it has a lovely view over the coast as you walk.
If you drive down to the coast by the train station do visit the little resraurant by the harbour, but do avoid train arrival and departure times as it is a VERY narrow road. The hotel has a shuttle to the train station which might be a better bet.

Grandios - Einfach das was wir lieben
Dies ist unser place to be! Wir waren zwar nur 4 Tage im Sesta Terra aber das war genug, um ein Juwel zu endecken. Die Lage ist schlicht atemberaubend und die Küche sehr gut, besonders für Liebhaber von Fisch und Meeresfrüchten. Sowohl die Canvas Lodges als auch die Cottages sind einfach herrlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen und man hat eine großartige Aussicht auf das Meer. Das ist aber leider auch schon alles. Der Service ist wenig professionell und viele Kleinigkeiten stimmen nicht. Nachts hat die Beleuchtung der dunklen Waldwege nicht funktioniert, beim Frühstück wird weder Gebäck noch Brötchen nachgelegt, das Abendessen ist nicht mehr als durchschnittlich und dennoch ziemlich teuer. Leider lässt auch der Comfort in den Zelten zu wünschen übrig und man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man viele Krabbeltiere in den Zimmern hat. Wenn man da empfindlich ist, sollte man sich diese Hotel nicht antun. Preis und Leistung passen leider nicht zusammen!

Wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde. Absolute Ruhe. Man muss nur bereit sein via Shuttle zum Bahnhof Framura zu fahren. Von da kann man mit dem Zug alle Dörfer erreichen. Wir waren auch sportlich mit ebike und bike unterwegs, waren wandern etc. - das Auto haben wir die ganzen 5 Tage nicht angerührt. Mit dem Zug ist man hier besser unterwegs.

Wir waren 8 Tage in Sestra Terra und wir haben die Zeit genossen.
Die Kleine (3 Jahre) konnte im Pool spielen, die Eltern haben mitgespielt oder wechselweise auf der traumhaften Terrasse den Ausblick genossen und abgeschaltet.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das liebevoll bereitete Barbecue am 15. August (Feiertag) mit Buffett und Livemusik.
Man muss sich auf eine lebhafte Flora und Fauna einstellen. Wer geduldig ist sieht das Wildschwein, Kröten und Skorpione. Auch Wespen, Bienen und Hornissen gibt es dort. Die muss man halt nehmen wie sie sind und nicht ausflippen, wenn sie mitessen wollen.
Wer lieber nach oben statt nach unten guckt, sollte am Abend den Sternenhimmel beobachten, Ausläufer der Milchstrasse bestaunen und Satelliten und Sternschnuppen beobachten.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Vi boede i telt - anderledes men god oplevelse(husk der ikke er aircondition). Resort er afsides men fin shuttle service til nærmeste togstation. Ingen muligheder for at gå til restaurant eller handle andre varer.

Bel endroit, belle vue, mais l’établissement n’était pas terminé, le wellness sensé être terminé a eu des complications et il n’etait pour finir pas à disposition alors que c’était une des raisons de la réservation.
Les différences de niveaux entre le cottage que nous avions et l’espace hôtel où déjeuner était important 5 niveaux d’escaliers étroits et escarpés et plutôt « brutes de décoffrage ».
La piscine est loin de l’espace habitat des cottage avec un sentier au dénivelé important et un chemin accidenté.
Les routes des environs n’invitent pas à la promenade et sont stressantes vu la faible largeur, les ravins nombreux et la conduite de certains locaux.
Mais plusieurs balades à pied sont possible mais à nouveau, il ne faut pas avoir peur de descendre et de grimper.
Le service par contre était top. Personnel souriant, serviable et attentionné. Patron à l’écoute des clients. A recommander d’ici quelques semaines pour ceux qui aiment la tranquillité et possèdent de bonnes jambes.
