Beautiful property, warm and caring owners, and a heavenly place to visit Cinque Terre from!
Imagine waking up in an Italian vineyard, having fresh made rose jelly, figs, and fruits picked right outside the door. Take a dip in the pool (where the temperature is perfect), then have a glass of wine from the grapes made from the vineyard just a few feet away while overloookng the beautiful view of the town and mountains.
Lorenzo, the owner of the property, is not only passionate about hospitality, and came to help us plan out our trip to cinque terre, offering great restaurant suggestions and helping us map out the perfect few days.
The only slight imperfection, which was quite understandable, was just that the AC was switching between a bit too cold and a bit too warm, and that on one of the mornings, the shower seemed to have run out of hot water. However, neither are major issues at all and you might not even experience or notice.
Aside from that, I can’t imagine staying elsewhere (the actual towns in cinque terre towns would likely have been far more busy and crowded), and Levanto is extremely convenient (one train stop away from 5terre).
We LOVED OUR STAY and can’t wait to go back!

Lorenzo and staff were great! Loved being in the hills and still easy access to train and town. Borrowed bikes to ride north which was nice change from cinque terre. Delicious breakfast on patio and even one very rainy day in which we enjoyed a stormy morning in the villa. ONLY complaint and I hate to even mention it cuz all really was great, but quite a lot of dog barking in the valley so not next door but still audible in the distance most of the night, even during the storms. Almost sounded like nearby kennel? But again, that did NOT damper anything-just something to be aware of. Would go back!! Didn’t enjoy pool bc ran out of time but lovely option!

This lovely old villa features a charming decor, delicious food and an an extremely attentive staff. The flowers and grounds are delightful. Terrace makes a super spot for breakfast in the morning.

We stayed at L'Amandola Villa - Agriturismo as a base for our trip to Cinque Terre and Portovenere. The property is an old family estate turned into a hotel for guests. The rooms are filled with lots of charm and the property is beautiful. In the morning there is a nice breakfast that the owner prepares for you. The junior suite we had was very large with a nice sitting area. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet.
The distance into Levanto is a bit longer that we would like. It is about a 20 minute walk into Levanto which is fine during the day, but we preferred to drive into town at night. The train is about a 10 minute walk and the boat to Portovenere about a 25 minute walk. There are plenty of nice restaurants in Levanto to choose from. I would prefer staying in Levanato than in Cinque Terre which was too full of tourists. Another nice perk is the free parking.

Comfortable, quiet farmhouse villa
We've been to Italy several times and this is the nicest place we've stayed in so far. It's a large villa overlooking the town, set amongst olive groves and a lovely well-kept garden. The hosts Lorenzo and Valentina went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. You take breakfast on a patio in the garden, and Valentina bakes a fresh cake every day for the breakfast buffet. The jacuzzi and bicyle hire were included in the cost - the short bike ride along the old railway line, through tunnels, to Framura is recommended. The only drawback was that it was a 20-25 minute walk into town to get to restaurants or the sea. Only 15 minutes walk from Levanto station though.

This wonderful home is at a good location, quiet, and has views, nice antiques, but too many rules about jacuzzi, \"forbidden\" to swim after 7 p.m., or bring in food or wine purchased locally and enjoy in the garden area.

Die Lage der Agriturismo Villa ist traumhaft schön und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf Levanto und die Meeresbucht. Die Eigentümer und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das gebuchte Zimmer war sehr gross und gemütlich.

Charming Stay with Great Staff
We loved the charming house and its beautiful garden, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. However, our room was very humid. The location is excellent, situated above the city and perfect for those arriving by car, as there is ample parking. We highly recommend trying their white wine and attending the tasting night. The breakfast was okay but had a limited selection.

We loved our stay at the villa! I would definitely recomment not to live in cinque Terre but stay here instead. 10 min from train station and the trains leave 3 times per hour to the villages in Cinque Terre. 20 min to the beach but an easy walk. In Levanto city it was busy and we loved the chill, calm and quiet Villa much more. The Villa was lovely with a nice outside area, a pool, lot of olive trees and a vineyard. The staff was sooo friendly and serviceminded and took their time to talk to all of us staying there. Atmosphere was great and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Don't forget to try their wine and marmalade. Check-in was super and we got a great introduction of the Cinque Terre and Levanto area. We would LOVE to come back.

This is absolute our favourite hotel! Quiet, beautiful, wonderful view. The straff was very nice and service-minded. The hotel is lokated about 10 min walk from the railway-station, perfect for exploring Cinqueterre.

Un séjour au top ! Des hôtes accueillants et aux petits soins. Le logement est magnifique et l’extérieur est à coupé le souffle (végétation, déco, piscine, ect...) il est aussi idéalement situé (a 8min à pied de la gare qui dessert les cinq terre). Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit !!! :)

Tres belle villa avec vu sur la mer quand on prend le petit dejeuner sur la terrasse. A 7min de la gare et a 18 min du centre ville a pied, nous avons pas touché notre voiture du sejour. La chambre etait spacieuse et tres propre.

Ein kleines, schnuckeliges Hotel, welches sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist mit schönem Ambiente. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Gutes Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen. Bahnhof für die Fahrten in die Cinque Terre und nach Genua zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

Nous avions une chambre double (2 pièces) que d'aucuns nommeraient une suite.. beaucoup d'espace, une salle de bain spacieuse, et très élégante, une vue sur les vallons très agréable. Un super petit dèj...
Un léger bémol : on entend un peu le soir les bruits de circulation de la route en contre bas, mais ans plus.(c'est pour chipoter..) L'accès à la gare se fait en 10mn à pied, 20mn pour aller à Lévanto. L'hôtel est une ancienne demeure familiale . On est accueilli par Valentina, qui parle français, et grâce à qui tout devient facile !
De Lévanto nous avons pris le train pour les 5 villages des 5 terres (c'est facile et super bien ). Nous sommes aussi allé à Pise en train (c'est mieux que la voiture, surtout pour les parkings. Nous avons pris la voiture pour visiter le village de Puertovenere qui est superbe..
Bref pour nous des super vacances.

Very good experience at this beautiful place. Nice garden, great breakfast and really good service make this place a great visit in Levanto. A good way to stay to get away from the most touristy areas - recommended!

Amandola Levanto, attenzione al tipo di stanza
Nel caso malaugurato che a causa della descrizione ingannevole fornita dai proprietari del B&B Amandola in Levanto, prenotiate le stanze economy la situazione sarebbe la seguente: stanza minuscola sottotetto con una piccola finestrella non sufficiente ad aerare e/o raffreddare, ventilatore molto rumoroso, un solo armadio per entrambi gli occupanti di cui metà ingombrata dal frigorifero, doccia nella stessa stanza a vista letto, lavandino ricavato da un armadio, ma soprattutto accesso alla toilette tramite una stretta scala e senza alcuna porta separatrice, quindi il water è a vista ed udito della stanza soprastante! Il tutto con un rapporto qualità-prezzo incredibile, come se fosse un 3 stelle.
Per il resto il B&B Amandola è in buona posizione vicino alla stazione di Levanto, bel giardino, colazione buona (anche se non eccellente), ma vanno evitate assolutamente le stanze di categoria Economy, non descritte correttamente
