Great place to stay and good location. Staff was cordial and caring. Hotel was as expected. Rooms typically tight for American standards, but we know they are part of the reduced space format that's normal in Europe. It was not a very big deal, although one would obviously want a larger space especially for luggage placing in the room.

The staff are good, they speak enough English to get by and fill any requests we had (hairdryer and clothes iron, both of which aren't supplied in the room. The iron is only available on the 6th floor), but the general friendliness is so-so.
The location is good being about 10 easy minutes to 2 different metro stations so you can easily navigate around.
The room was more a kids shoebox vs a normal shoebox. You would struggle for two people to get changed at once. The sink didn't have the plug part so if anything was to fall into it it'd go straight down the drain. The shower door didn't fully close, it would stop at about 100mm from shutting (room 407), and there's mould on the silicone in the shower.
Breakfast is good, you get baguette, croissants, pain aux raisins, pain au chocolat, toast, crepes, coffee/hot chocolate/tea etc, cheese, ham, apples etc. it was quite satisfying and stocked regularly.
Overall I'm not overly satisfied with my stay at Belambra City Hôtel Magendie, if the room matched the pictures in the email and the bathroom issues fixed then the rating would be higher.

The bathroom fitments were perfectly clean and usable but probably in comparison to more modern hotels the tiling and counters showed signs of wear and tear. I did not mind but if you are fussy , probably not for you.

Stayed for 5 nights for the Olympic Games, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very nice, although a little smaller than I expected. The shower could’ve been cleaner, but other than that it was a perfect trip!

This property was average. There is no heating. The lack of ventilation made my throat hurt the next morning. The check in staff was great the night crew the first night was awful and rude. It was hard to get an extra blanket, the second night the staff gave us his portable heater which was very nice.

No airconditioning during a heat wave in Paris...my room was a furnace. I had a silly little ventilator that did absolutely nothing. When I arrived in the room, I saw that the shades had not been drawn...this should have been done for the rooms, like mine, that are exposed on the sunny side of the hotel all day long.

We had a nice stay at the Belambra hotel. It's close to bus and 2 metro stations and there are a lot of shops around (groceries, bakeries, pharmacy, laundrymat, etc). The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is good to start the day - ham, cheese, cereals, bread and croissants, juice, yoghurts, fruits... The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The area feels safe. I will definitely consider this hotel again when I come back to Paris

The light above the washbasin fell out and just missing my face as I was standing there cleaning my teeth, fell on my hand and damaged it. My stay at Belambra City Hotel was great! The staff were incredibly helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast was great - typical continental breakfast, but still had plenty of options. The room and bathroom were very clean, although my only complaints are that there is only one wall plug in the room and the walls were very thin in which you could hear everything (which is understandable because of the buildings age). Otherwise, my stay here was very pleasant and will consider staying there again in the future! It’s close to public transport and an added bonus was the shuttle from the hotel to airport is only €26 :)

A couple things. We reserved a shuttle for our flight home through them and said our flight was at 7:25 in the morning. The front desk associate called the company, and us not knowing french thought it was taken care of, but it turns out she booked it as though the flight left at 7:25 pm. We did not realize the mistake until the morning of (just a 1.5 days later). We thankfully got one to come that morning, but the man on duty at 3 am seemed less than thrilled to help us. Upon getting into our room, it was a little disappointing. There was a small tower fan to add circulating air to the room that seemed like it was going to break at any moment. There was a tiny TV (which was fine because we didn't need to watch tv), there was no type of little fridge to keep any food, fresh or leftover, which was disappointing. But the most disappointing part was the bathroom. It was like a prison bathroom. Completely white, dirty looking. And then the toilet felt like it was going to come off the wall when it was sat on. So bad that we made jokes about it. The one good thing was the breakfast. The croissants were great. Would not stay here again.

An older hotel in a corner of the left bank of the Seine. Within walking distance of Metro Lines to allow exploring other parts of the city. Staff very courteous, and helpful in providing directions to places of interest in Paris. No official concierge available, WiFi was problematic. Room had only one electrical outlet. This made recharging digital devices difficult. Had to be used in lobby to maintain a connection, but we were able to purchase advance museum tickets and have them printed out on the hotel printer. Did not have a restaurant on premises, but suppled an excellent full hot breakfast each morning.

I try to use this hotel when in Paris. It is not cheap, no where in Paris is, but compared to others it is good value, and includes breakfast. Rooms are clean and warm, with good wi fi and room safe.The area is nice, with some places nearby to eat. Public transport is close by. Just for you a secret, on street parking is possible, and one can usually find a space nearby.

I have been travelling to Paris nearly every year and I stayed in the center of Paris but in the center it’s to noisy and this hotel its perfect in anyway, it’s only 15 minutes by Metro from the center and 5 minutes walk from the Metro station and in my opinion it’s perfect: yes it’s not 5 star but you are only staying for sleeping not staying all day in the hotel, I think it’s perfect, the reception were very good, breakfast was normal,

Everything is quite good except that the location is quite inconvenient, an 8 minute walk from the metro station which is a little far away from tourist spots. This makes it hard for family with older people and big luggages.

I have enjoyed my stay in Belambra Hotel. The only problem that I faced is that the bed is not that comfortable. But everything else was fine: hotel is clean, room are not too small, breakfast is delicious, located next to subways and buses. The staff is friendly and always smiling:)

Awful experience but paid a high amount per night
I don't normally leave reviews but this place was awful, so here is my quick review: the breakfast was the unhealthiest I've had in any hotel, ever. There was not a single fruit available, let alone vegetables. The juice tasted cheap. The reception area looks cheap and unwelcoming and the doors of the rooms make a loud bang when they close, waking you up when people return to their rooms (in my neighbours' cases around 1 - 2 a.m.) as well as early in the morning. Have they ever heard of devices that you install to make the doors close slowly/quietly??!

I stayed here for 3 nights. Room was well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and responsive. Located in quiet street but close to public transport (bus) and within walking distance of Latin Quarter. Very enjoyable stay.
