The room has everything you need. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle every hour from 7:30 am until 11:30 pm to take you to the village and back to the hotel. It’s at the level os a business travel hotel.
The view from the hotels is fantastic.. there’s lots of trees and green areas near the hotel. I think no other hotel has that view. Most are near the pier.
I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

I can't rave enough about our stay for 6 nights. Our sea view room overlooked the entire Cinque Terra coast. Although out of town, the walk down was only 10-15 mins, and there is a very reliable shuttle service to and from town every hour. The rooms were spotless, the views incredible and breakfast plentiful and very fresh. A small bar menu is available for in house dining. Purchasing the CT card was only 3 euro if done at the hotel. Beach towels are provided. Plentiful parking on-site if you have a car. If there was only 1 improvement it would be a kettle in the room.

This hotel is a true gem. Set in a mountain with glorious views of the coastline and other \"terre's,\" it creates the quintessential Italian seaside experience. The shuttle to the town/beach ran frequently, on time, and with trips late into the evening. Great breakfast, lovely staff. Our room had a terrace as big as the room with a stunning view! A truly special spot.

Overall, nice stay. Room was comfortable with a balcony and beautiful view of the sea. Pros: great breakfast, comfy bed, beautiful view. Cons: such a long steep hike up and down (kept missing shuttle) and we are in good physical condition, no coffee/tea service in room (breakfast starts at 8), strange shower configuration inside bathtub (great water pressure though), towel racks and hooks were made for very tall people, hair dryer fried my hair.

Hotel could not be bettered for views of the CinqueTerre coastline, but the shuttle service to Monterosso , although efficient, was hourly and QUEING it seems is not recognised in Italy! ( Apart from the Brits! )

This hotel was amazing. It sits on a hill top over looking Monterosso and the sea. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was amazing and the whole hotel was sparkling clean. We will definitely be back. I know some of the reviews mentioned the shuttle times were not reliable. We did not find that to be the case. The shuttle was precisely on time. A couple of suggestions: the drive up to the hotel is not as clearly marked but Google GPS will take you to the front door. The drive up is on a one lane road, so be careful. Also, try to time your shuttle rides to train rides if you are going to different villages so that you are not wasting a lot of valuable time.

Service was lovely. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was lovely. Always helpful, always respectful, always assist. The view from our balcony was exquisite. The only fault, and it is a big one, was the shuttle bus to the village below ran, at times, hourly. Also, the hotel needs a number system given out at reception for the shuttle. Unfortunately some people are rude and do not wait their turn for the shuttle. The hotel needs to attend to this and it would be the perfect stay. The breakfast was amazing; there were so many choices and the staff serving were a delight. Many thanks.

Lovely hotel perched up high on a hill overlooking Monterosso- in fact, one can see all 5 towns of Cinque Terre from the hotel grounds. Clean, comfortable, good-sized room; if available, book a room with a balcony for a fantastic view. Shuttle van to & from hotel into Monterosso was very much appreciated as walking up or down the hill would be difficult. Breakfast was excellent with many choices to suit all tastes (8-10 am). Staff were efficient but not overly friendly, which was fine. Nice areas outside to sit or lounge any time of the day.

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our recent stay. The location provides a stunning view of all 5 Cinque Terra hotels which makes up for the slightly further distance to the main town (although the free hotel shuttle makes that more than manageable).
We eventually stayed in 3 rooms here, moving from our originally booked, non-sea view rooms to two sea view rooms which later became available. All had their charms.
The staff here (seemingly all female) were friendly, helpful and flexible. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Must book! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a remote location outside of the crazy tourist zone and has a beautiful view from the ocean side room. The free shuttle bus was a lifesaver, and a huge shoutout to Roberto as the best driver ever. He would always come back to get you if the bus was full, and if he was early for pick up time he would just drive you to the hotel or to the City Center (about 5 minutes from the train station). The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our only concern was that the air conditioner didn’t seem to keep up with the heat, but we would have booked knowing this. Monterosso is the best location to stay in Cinque Terre by far. We explored other villages and were always happy to return back to Monterosso.

The hotel has probably the best position and view in all Cinque Terre. The hotel is exceptionally clean, enough parking spaces, very friendly personnel, and an excellent breakfast. A shuttle runs for free from the hotel to the village below every 25-30min.
There are onky two things I want to mention. Although they have satellite TV, there were about 5 channels available (and that with almost no clouds). On the other hand, if you go to Cinque Terre to watch TV, you waste your time and money. The second thing to mention was the so-called hair drier, a crossbreed between a vacuum cleaner and a WWII era gas mask (see picture), inconvenient and almost impossible to use. For the price they charge for the rooms, I think the management can invest 20$ in some modern hair driers.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody that wants an extraordinary experience.

Three days in Cinque Terre

The hotel was better than expected but still expensive. The views from the hotel over Cinque Terre is just amazing, the biggest downside to the hotel is how far from the centrum it is and that it does not have a restaurant. The rooms and the outside have been nicely refurbished. But the breakfast hall needs some overhaul. The breakfast was ok, nothing more than that.

Nice hotel on top of a hill with great view. But to get on top of the hill they have a shuttle. You are stuck until this shuttle comes at certain times and picks you up to go to town or get back to hotel. The route is EXTREMELY SCARY. There is only one road up and down with cars going both ways with one side of the road being the cliff!

The hotel is very nice. They have a shuttle that takes you down to the main area of town and it leaves every hour or so. We were very happy with our stay. We got a beautiful balcony that had an amazing view of the water. The service was great from everyone except for one person who was very rude and harsh. They also have beach towels that you can check out and reuse while you're there. City tax is only 1.50 euros per person per day, but be prepared for that. The breakfast was good, but more focused on pastries so it was a little too light for me. Overall, I would recommend.

Amazing views, wonderful clean/modern rooms

This was quite possibly our favorite hotel of the entire trip. The staff were wonderful, the room was very clean and the entire hotel looked as though it had been completely renovated recently. The shuttle service to and from the hotel was easy to use and always running on time. To top it all off, the view is absolutely stunning! Despite not having a sea view room, there are multiple patios and chairs right out the front door of the hotel which provide a completely unobstructed view. We cannot stress enough how absolutely amazing the views were. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful View and Location

Beautiful view and location very friendly staff very clean and nice room TV was tiny. But I guess you don't need a TV when you have such a beautiful view. Really appreciated the convenient free shuttle service into town saved us from having to drive up and down the very steep winding Hill to get to the hotel. Will definitely playing I'm staying here again highly recommend.

The view is great. This is the highest hotel facility in Monterosso. Wish the shuttle service is more frequent. The sound insulation is poor. There is no tea or coffee in the afternoon.

Nice Hotel Just Outside Town

We accidentally ended up in Monterosso on the May Day holiday weekend, when the entire area was literally jammed with tourists. The hotel is just far enough out of town to get away from the noise and the crush of humanity in the town below, but taking the shuttle back and forth was only a minimal inconvenience. The location up the hill also sits right on top of the walking trail to Levanto. Nice staff and breakfast. Rooms could be noisy, like all older, smaller hotels.

Nice hotel with brilliant view.

Very quiet and picturesque location of the hotel just on the top of the hill. You can see all five villages of the Cinque Terre. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel hasn't got access to the beach but staff provided to us the beach towels when needed. Traditional italian breakfast is freshly serviced every morning. The reliable shuttle bus takes you to/from the hotel every hour. It takes you around 20min walking to get to the top of the hill to the hotel.

Gorgeous views of Monterosso village

Upgrade to room with the view! The view is exceptional from top of the hill. The shuttle service runs down to village every 30 min. The walk down is easy - 10 min by foot.

Extremely disappointing and upsetting

This hotel is up a very steep hill and it is impossible to reach with luggage. They have an hourly shuttle going up and down but is always over crowded. The shuttle seats 8 people and driver not 10. They do not run between 2 and 3:30 pm. They do not tell you that they will come back and make another run if too many people are waiting. We spent extra money for taxis up the hill because we were never informed that the shuttle would come get us if overcrowded. That cost 10 euros to f you could find a taxi nearly impossible. In general I did not think the proprietors were interested in providing a pleasant experience to their guests. Our Room 115 was courtyard side which in reality is a stone wall and no courtyard and nothing to be seen in the back so shutters were closed and room was dark .Not very pleasant response to my first Comments. I had called the evening before my arrival for details on how to get to hotel. They asked me to send an email which I did and said they would send explicit instructions via email which they never did. They need to inform visitors before they come if shuttle details and room details and location. Pictures are deceiving on website.

Wonderful panarama

We had a sea view room with balcony that was very relaxing and quiet - the shuttle bus was reliable - breakfast also good and staff friendly. Room was spacious and towels changed each day. Bus shuttle stopped near station for visiting other villages. The walk from the hotel to Levante was demanding but well worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel with magnificent views

My wife and I spent a weekend at Hotel Suisse Bellevue and loved it. The view out our bedroom window was to die for - probably the best in all Cinque Terre. While not luxurious, the room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The hotel owners and staff were friendly and always willing to help. While the hotel is a significant walk up a hill, they offer a free shuttle to and from town that runs frequently. If you're going to Cinque Terre, this is the place to stay.

Nice but some hesitations

Hotel was nice and room was nice but a few drawbacks existed. Firstly, the evening receptionist was downright rude and unhelpful. The air conditioning in the room took more than half the night to cool our one room. The hotel is also on the top of a hill above the town, which is nice for views, but you have to rely on the hourly shuttle to get you around.

Great hotel in Cinque Terre

We are just back from our holiday in Cince Terre and we were delighted of having found and stayed in this hotel. It has great views, quiet location, room was clean, modern deco, complete breakfast and a shuttle bus service to town which is frequent and that will do as many trips as are needed to not to leave anybody behind.

Hotel rooms were small but otherwise nice. Breakfast was included, too, which was a plus. Do be warned that the hotel is on top of a hill so do not attempt to walk from the train station if you have suitcases. There is a free shuttle that takes you in and out of the city center!

Very far from beach, restaurants and shops. Hotel has free mini bus transport taking you to and from the beautiful town. Might as well book in many hotels already there!!
The hotel is situated on top of a hill with beautiful views so make sure you book it with a balcony otherwise you will have a window facing a wall !!
You can see these magnificent views from anywhere else anyway!

Worst hotel I ever stayed at

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. I was expecting a sea side view but unfortunately Our room had a view of a brick wall (not a joke). This was not communicated to me and I would not have stayed there had I known this in advance- this was not communicated by management to me.

As well, when I arrived in Monterosso there is no taxi to hire. The hotel did not inform me there is a shuttle that picks you up from near the train station. As a result, I had to walk 900 meters (you read that right) UPHILL with 60 lbs of luggage. It took 35 mins and I was completely exhausted. Again, management did not email me about this shuttle.

The final straw for us is because the hotel is located uphill, you need to depend on the shuttle to go into the town. The shuttle runs every hour only. Therefore, it makes it really difficult to plan your day if you want to return back to the hotel for example for a quick shower. The last straw for us was once we arrived at the shuttle stop in the town 30 mins before the departure. We had hiked 7 Kms. We saw the shuttle and the driver and asked if we could seat in the car until the departure time. He refused. We had to sit on the side of the crub like beggars while he chatted away with other drivers.

For the price, this was just a terrible experience all around. Wifi in the room is terrible too. We will not return again.

Long road up...

The views are unbelievable....We came by motorcycle so getting there was no problem, but if your coming off the train good luck....you have to take a taxi or find out about there shuttle otherwise it is a long climb straight up....otherwise we enjoyed it.

Lovely hotel with panoramic views over Monterosso

Lovely hotel set up in the hills overlooking Montorosso. No sea view rooms available when I booked but I emailed them and the lovely receptionist said she would keep me in mind if a cancellation came up. When we arrived she said she had 'juggled' the reservations and we got our sea view - Fabulous!
The only slight downside is that the hotel is high up, and it's a long steep walk into/back from the town. BUT .... they provide a free minibus to transport you every hour or so.
Overall a lovely hotel in a wonderful setting. Would I go again? You bet I would!
