We chose this hotel at the last minute as our VRBO canceled on us. It turned out to be a very happy accident. Levanto is a lovely town with pretty streets and great food and the shuttle from the hotel to city centre and station made accessing the local area super easy. The staff was very helpful and had great info/ suggestions for us. The room was clean and the included breakfast delicious. Sitting at the pool after a long day of hiking was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family

Our stay here was fantastic! The hotel was very clean & the staff were extremely accommodating! They have a van that took us to the train station & downtown & picked us up several times. That was a huge benefit to us! We also ate dinner at the restaurant our last night there & it was one of our best meals of the trip! Highly recommend. The service was impeccable!

I was extremely impressed with how friendly and helpful were the staff from front desk to waiter, particularly Frankie at the front desk. He showed me short cuts to walk down to the train station. The hotel is up on the hill with a nice pool and spa facilities perfect for relaxation after a day of walking in Cinque Terre. It provides shuttle service to town center and train station from 9 am to 11 pm which makes it a good starting point to explore Cinque Terre.

This property is perfect for a CinqueTerra visit. It is an amazing property. It is very clean, the rooms are very nice and luxurious. The spa was really nice, my wife and I both had treatments. The staff were amazing, Maria, Frankie and Martina at the reception desk are beyond charming and genuine; they will make sure that all your needs are met. The GM, didn’t catch his name, was very kind and helpful as well. Now the food. The food was wonderful. We had lunch and dinner; both were five star quality. However, the breakfast was sensational. Great property and would recommend to anyone.

We took the train to explore cinque terre (7 mins to Monterosso), but were glad to have a nice quiet hotel to return to at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

We loved this hotel so much I almost don’t want to leave a review, we’d like to keep it as our secret! I have never known such a genuinely friendly hotel, all of the staff were so helpful and welcoming. The food was excellent, the hotel is spotless, it’s in a wonderfully peaceful location but only a 10 minute walk into town. If you don’t fancy the walk for any reason the shuttle bus will take you there and pick you up any time you ask. We honestly could not have been happier and will definitely be back.

Wow. Amazing. The room was massive which was great. The breakfast was fantastic. We ate on the terrace with the beautiful view. Evening meals were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The shuttlebus in and out of Levanto was priceless and effortless. The grounds and pool are stunning. Every single member of staff from the room cleaner to the general manager were absolutely wonderful. Always genuinely smiling and happy to see you and chat to you. The general manager was regularly checking on guests to see if all was good. He was also regularly checking in and chatting with his large team. A genuine man who seems to beloved by his team which shows in their actions and service to the guests. A priceless commodity. We were blown away and it forged life long memories and we cant wait to be back. Thank you so much

Amazing hotel just north of Cinque Terre

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous grounds and a wonderful pool. The daily shuttle service was amazing. If we needed to be dropped off at the train station or in town, the hotel sent the shuttle right away. The pool and spa area was amazing after a long day. An amazing place to stay that is nice and quiet away from Cinque Terre, but easy to take the train when we wanted to visit the towns.

The staff is quite approachable and willing to help, while also being low key in their approach (they wait for you to ask questions rather than getting in your face).

Good mix of American and European guests. Opportunities to meet other travelers if you want, and no need to if you want to be private.

Overall, one of the nicest stays I’ve had stayed in general. The property is immaculate. The pool and gardens were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and included! Shuttle to town or train was super helpful. Quick train ride to all of the Cinque Terre villages. If I have the chance to return to CT, I will stay here! Oh, and if you have a car, free parking! Easy to get to.

A Perfect Stay – One of the Best Hotels We've Ever

We spent three nights at Park Hotel Argento and are still deeply impressed by the outstanding hospitality we received. We've been traveling for decades and have stayed in countless 4- and 5-star hotels across Europe and beyond – but we've never experienced anything quite like this.

From the moment we arrived, we felt less like guests and more like friends. Every single member of the staff was warm, genuinely kind, attentive, and always eager to help. This wasn’t just professional politeness – these are truly good people, and it's simply a joy to be around them.

Our room was spacious, clean, and inviting – the perfect place to relax after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The pool and spa were just what we needed to unwind, and breakfast was absolutely wonderful: rich, varied, fresh, and complete with a juice press and fresh vegetables we quickly fell in love with.

But the true highlight of our stay was the hotel’s free shuttle service. Every time we needed to go to the train station or the nearby town, all it took was a quick 10-minute notice (usually less), and a friendly driver was there to take us – always with a smile.

In short – a fantastic hotel, warm and attentive service, and a great base for exploring the area. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality accommodation with a big heart.

The property is a little far from everything but their transportation was excellent. We were relieved after a long day of travel to be picked up at the Lavanto Train Station. It was late so we opted to have dinner at the restaurant there. The food was fabulous just like the service. The wait staff were excellent probably the best that we encountered this trip.
The room was big and comfortable with tile flooring. It was loud with moving chairs above us at times but other than that it was quiet. We had a patio off the sliding glass doors which was a plus. The air conditioner worked great. The bathrooms were a good size and had all of the amenities that we needed. The breakfast was incredible. It had everything we wanted and then some. Again the wait staff was excellent there too.
We took the transportation downtown and hiked to Monterosso. We made it to Monterosso but it was pouring rain. We were tired and soaking wet when we arrived back to the hotel. We put on our robes and dragged ourselves went to the free spa. So nice!
It’s great having a hotel with transportation service. We didn’t have to shlep our bags up a ton of stairs like most Airbnbs in Italy. The spa was relaxing, the food was great, and kudos to the staff. The front desk was so helpful and excellent, the wait staff at breakfast were great, and the restaurant staff were incredible. We moved to different hotel closer to Portofino and we noticed the difference. Thank you Park Hotel Argento for a wonderful stay.

Great place for a visit to Cinque Terra. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Hotel shuttle was extremely convenient, and we enjoyed visiting the charming, less crowded town of Levanto near the hotel. Included breakfast was a nice feature. An Oasis and Excellent for Cinque Terre Visits

The hotel provides an excellent, free shuttle service for pickups from the Levanto Railroad Station (for new arrivals as well as for train trips to Cinque Terre villages), and for trips into Levanto for dinner. The hotel buffet breakfast (included in the price) was the best among all the hotels where we stayed, including in Germany and Barcelona, and Milan. The front desk provides good advice on Cinque Terre visits and on restaurants in town for dinner, despite having its own superior restaurant for such dinners. The hotel outdoor pool has a beautiful setting and is perfect for laps. The hotel staff provides coffee and snaks at the pool as well as on the hotel's other outdoor terraces.

Should ensure that can always provide dinner in the restaurant for all hotel guests.
There was some initial confusion with our room allocation which we absolutely understood. These things happen. However, to offer us an alternative choice of two rooms, (an upgrade to a suite was the terminology used) one which smelt musty and the other overlooking the back of another building was disappointing. The room we were then offered was ideal but should have been the first one we were shown not the last. I think we were right to feel disappointed.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the urban area and the train station. You can see the hotel very clearly up ahead when you are standing on the platform at station. We didn't realise the hotel lay on a shuttle service from the station - so we walked up the hill with 2 suitcases which was very difficult in the sweltering heat!
However on arrival we were given a large bottle or chilled water!
Our room was extremely spacious. The bathroom was very large, however I've never seen. Such a small shower in such a large bathroom. Great toiletries. Robes and slippers provided. Tv good.
The pool is beautiful and overlooks the train station. Lovely pool bar and good staff. Hotel staff very helpful. We were so glad to find that the restaurant staff at breakfast were fantastic- having just spent 4 nights having received pretty poor service in the restaurants in Montrosso and pisa. It really was a breath of fresh air here.
There is a shuttle bus to the beach and back which is much needed.
The best thing we did in Levanto was hire bikes at a place the hotel recommended and ride thru the old railways tunnels to Framura and bonosolo

The only place in Cinque Terre to stay

I will only stay here if traveling to the Cinque Terre region. The staff is amazing and is well located to the regional train and town. Our room was huge by European standards and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and they had plenty of gluten free goodies carefully placed in its own separate basket, a really nice touch. We enjoyed an incredible dinner outside on the patio with beautiful views of the mountains. The food was artfully plated, delicious and the service excellent! The spa is well appointed with a lovely outdoor pool, so welcomed after a long day of hiking. I enjoyed a terrific sports massage with Julia, highly recommend! They also provide shuttle service to the town and train station if needed. The resort is removed from the hustle and bustle of the busy towns yet very convenient to everything, providing a nice peaceful respite from the crowds. Overall a wonderful stay!!

This is the perfect place to stay to visit Cinque Terre. It has a shuttle bus to take you to the train or down into Levanto. The train was easy access to the five towns of Cinque Terre. If you wish you can walk to the train station quickly but it is not an easy walk, more like a hike.
This property was our favorite out of our seven hotels in Italy. The grounds were exceptionally landscaped and the pool was very welcoming after walking and hiking the towns all day.
Breakfast was delicious with everything you could possibly want to eat and drink.
This property is amazing!
There is even a small beach in the town to swim at.

This is an excellent property at the top of Levanto. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle which takes you to three different locations in the town for free and on demand. It was really nice after a long day of exploring to be able to arrive at the train station and have the hotel shuttle waiting for us. It’s not a far walk from the train station to the hotel but after a long hot day, it’s nice to have the shuttle option.
The hotel grounds are beautiful and they serve a very impressive breakfast each morning. One of the highlights of our stay was simply enjoying the grounds of the hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cinque Terre.

Good location, despite the lack of sea view. Very Friendly and welcoming staff. Very much a 3 star / 4 star resort feel. Shuttle service was excellent. Rooms quite bare.

Outstanding hotel and staff

An amazing stay with at park hotel argento. The reception staff were outstanding so helpful with recommendations and travel tips. The wellness centre is divine and shuttle bus service was exceptional. Location was perfect tonstroll into town or catch the train to explore the Cinque Terre.
Very happy and confident to recommend this hotel. We look forward to coming back

Very nice property. Levanto is a nice place to stay and it is convenient to reach Cinque Terre from Levanto. The breakfast is very nice and the shuttle bus is very convenient. The main owners of this hotel are actively involved in the running of this hotel and they do a superb job.

Very convenient property if you’re driving. Lots of parking. The service is very good. The staff go out of their way to help you with information.
Breakfast is terrific. The room was spacious if somewhat bland. All the amenities are there.

If there was a way to give extra stars, this hotel deserves it. The room was beautiful and very large. But the real star is the service and the breakfast at this hotel. The shuttle bus starts early and runs till late (11:00 pm) and picks up on demand from the train station which is on the Cinque Terre line.

Enjoy the service and the stay.

Hotel location is only 10 min walk to the train station and hotel provides shuttle between hotel to train station, it is very convenience. hotel people are very friendly and helpful. we are glad to chose staying at Levanto. we enjoyed much for our stay.
