The Hotel was in a great location and an easy walk to the train station and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast. Our room was a little noisy as it was near the lift and stairwell. Good value for money.

Positives: very nice staff, big TV, clean and good location
Negatives: the advertised hot tub does not exist; the pool is only available by reservation, and reservations are hard to get, even though it seems hardly used at all; bathing cap required to use the pool; pool was not warm at all; the beds are so old and creaky we had to change rooms to find a bed we could possibly sleep in; the lamps by the bed did not work; the breakfast was very disappointing - choices were ok, but the hot items were barely warm (ever had cold french fries or cold mercimek?), and the coffee machine was not working properly; the bathroom had issues - toilet was not affixed to the floor, the shower head barely attached to the wall, a cracked sink...
So, good staff, clean, and good location, but specifically booked because of the advertised hot tub and breakfast, both of which were not as promised.

Great Location in Ankara for Sightseeing

Very elegant hotel located conveniently near the Maltepe Station, so you can walk underground through the metro station or take the Ankaray line to Asti if taking a bus.

Breakfast was good, with lots of fruits and cheeses, hot foods, etc. The staff were very kind. The room we stayed in had a view of the Anitkabir Monument. We would stay here again.

Disappointing stay

It was not good
The bath drain was almost blocked
Some of the employees were not nice and almost disrespectful,
The hotel level shouldn’t be 4 stars
There is no auto park as mentioned in the website.

The good: 1.). walking distance from the central train station 2.) Very charming and clean and affordable accommodations. 3.) Superb and accommodating staff. The bad: 1.) Google earth directions will take you for a 1km walk to an erroneous site. 2.) they don't serve alcohol in their restaurant. And 3.) nearly everyone in Turkey smokes and the hallway (and my room) filled with cigarette smoke at 2am. Won't return to a hotel that won't serve wine with dinner (a personal choice not affecting anyone, yet allows people to smoke which stinks up the whole facility. I would like to say that the staff was absolutely accommodating to a weary traveler, but I wouldn't choose Ilci again.

The hotel does meet all that's been listed on the booking information and facilities.
Hotel is very clean and very friendly staff, Particularly Mr Mirach. He is very professional, helpful, well mannered and well spoken English language.
I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the breakfast each morning and used the facilities of Sauna, Hamam and the indoor swimming pool. Above all, the hotels is good value for money. I would definitely recommend it!

I booked online because it had a gym. When I arrived I was told the gym.was.being refurbished. I had booked a non-smoking room, but I was given a room which clearly was a smoking room. I asked to change rooms and was told the hotel was full. Breakfast very disappointing. Only plus point was it was close to Metro.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel .. a lot

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Ankara, on a tree lined road. From the outside the facade is ornate and has a Turkish flourish. At night it is lit beautifully and calls a welcome to you. The decor inside too has aspirations above its station. Maybe some may say it’s a little too dated, but I loved the hotel and it’s character. The staff were attentive and friendly. The room I stayed in was at the rear and very quiet. It was not a huge room but adequate and the shower was large with the bathroom good overall. Breakfast is excellent. A variety of Turkish dishes ( no European cereals) and plentiful. The staff again are welcoming and friendly. I rated the breakfast highly. The cleanliness is always important to me and I had no doubts about this hotels standards. The bed linen was white and fresh and the beds very comfortable. Complimentary toiletries are proved. The tv has only Turkish stations. Nothing in English. Not even a news channel, but the majority if the guests appeared to be Turkish, so maybe the hotel attracts business type guests. I found the hotel great value. It offered me a convinient location not too far from the centre with a metro station one minute away outside that is only two stops from Kizilay. Perfect. Would I stay again? Undoubtably. I enjoyed my stay very much.

The Ilci residence is a solid hotel. Service was exceptional. The breakfast buffet spread was one of the best I have ever encountered in my life. The local area is nice. The staff speak decent English. In our modern times to assume that everyone will be able to speak the same language as myself smacks of privilege. My only issue was with the fitness center. It is attached to the Spa and Hamman and is only open from 11:00-9:00. Not very convienient as those are generally the hours one is not going to be at the hotel...Maybe that’s the point?

My short stay in Ankara

The hotel is convieniently located near the main railway station, local shops and near a small supermarket. The room was clean and comfortable and importantly for me - quiet. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice for guests. I thought the hotel was good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying there.

Very friendly staffs. Gave us tourist map and detailed information. Called taxi fit is and told the driver to point out every interesting monument etc.. people usually just stop by Ankara for a short transit. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't get bored.

一进酒店大门就闻到一股令人不快的霉味，房间里更是充满令人无法忍受的下水道臭味，只能经常开着窗户通风。房间门关上后留有很大的缝隙，既不安全也不隔音。早餐菜品种类少，蔬菜非常不新鲜，面包也是放在那里很多天的。客人用餐走后，服务员直接用手持吸尘器吸餐布，并没有每天消毒清洗。酒店的基础很好，但是维护和管理太差。

Doktora tezim için araştırma yapmak üzere Ankara’ya gelmiştim ve bir gece konaklamam gerekiyordu. Tek başıma bir kadın olarak güvenli bir yer seçmek benim için çok önemliydi; bu konuda beklentilerimi karşıladı. Otelin konumu harika, metroya çok yakın. Oda temiz, geniş ve sıcaktı. Dışarısı soğuk olmasına rağmen içerinin sıcak olması beni çok mutlu etti. Yatak ve yastıklar rahattı. Kahvaltı çok güzeldi ve çeşit bakımından oldukça zengindi. Personel güler yüzlü, ilgili ve yardımcıydı. Genel olarak çok memnun kaldım, kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. 🌟

Konum olarak çok iyi bir noktada. Anıtkabir, YHT, Ankara Garı yürüme mesafesinde. Otoparkı olması avantaj. Yaşadığım bir olayı paylaşayım. Valizimin çekme kolundaki vida düştüğü için arıza vardı. Ben hiç bir şey demeden görevlinin bir yerlerden vida bulup valizi tamir etmesi şahaneydi. Bu küçük detaylar tüm olumsuzlukları gideriyor. Olumsuzluk dediğim odanın banyosunda ufak sorunlar vardı. Genel olarak memnun kaldık. Kavsiye ederim.

There was a bad smoking smell in my room the moment I walked into it and I asked to change it , they refused and instead he said he can give me a spray ? And even the spay wasn't provided ..I was disgusted with the smell all my stay as I could smell cigarettes smoke all the time ..such a bad experience.

Es un buen y céntrico hotel. Muy cerca de la estación YHT , que nos facilitó la llegada con el tren desde Istanbul.
Limpieza de la habitación, mejorable.
No nos gustó que a las 9:30 de la mañana, dentro del horario del desayuno, al volver del bufé comedor ya nos estaban limpiando la habitación, y tuvimos que esperarnos a que el servicio acabara su trabajo.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel. Sehr tolles Frühstücksbuffet in einem schönen Raum.
Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel und es hat stark nach Abfluss gerochen. Die Verständigung auf Englisch war sehr schwierig und der Spa-Bereich war eine Baustelle.

Otelin konumu güzel. Anitkabir ziyareti yapmayi düşünenler için tavsiye ederim. Otele giriste biraz beklemekle beraber, genel olarak memnun kaldim. Odalar çok büyük değil ama temiz idi. Kahvaltı şehir otelleri için yeterli düzeyde.
