This hotel is a dump. The pictures shown on Expedia are photoshopped. The entire hotel room was filthy. Stayed one night and I think we even got bit by bedbugs. Disgusting.

This is somehow a designer hotel, with great and awesome amenities, BUT the hotel is super super dirty. Staff don’t speak english which is fine but they are rude and really don’t care about your experience you will have here. Again they have a beautiful roof top which they serve the breakfast with panoramic view of the whole city but if you are not good at dodgeball don’t go there. While you are getting your breakfast plate and walking to your table literally you have to move around and try to miss the drips, falling from the ceiling. They have the kitchen in the same place and while they are cooking you can see all the moisture on the ceiling and they falling on your head, table, plate and everywhere. The food they are serving has very low quality. The sheets, pillowcases, and the blanket all were super dirty, I had a suite with a sofa which you could see the dirty spot all over it, the room that I was staying in had windows all around it with great view but what is the point when you can’t even walk around and sit on the couch. I am a architect and I can tell overall the owner did a great job preparing this hotel for Ankara visitors BUT is the management that can’t handle such a great hotel with great amenities. I checked out one day earlier because I couldn’t stay in such a dirty hotel. I asked for refund for the night that I did not stay and they said “you can get the refund from the place you got the hotel from”. I took pictures of all the dirty spot, so i can post them.

Please avoid this hotel if possible. It's filthy, smell smoking all over the place. Bathroom unexpectedly dirty, towels are not in useable conditions and guess what we had a cockroach in the bathroom!! We only managed to stay a few hours. After a very long journey following our flight was delayed, we were at the hotel midnight around 3:30 am and couldn't sleep all night and checked out even though we had booked for 4nights! Luckily found another placed to stay but in higher price obviously..I don't think this hotel is a good standard hotel to be advertised on this website at all!

Before check out reception call many time to ask us that when we will check out.they bother us alot. The woman who was cleaning came and open the door without permission even she knew that I was in the room and I don't want her to clean at this day because I just want to sleep witthout somebody bothering me.I felt there's no privaty. My wife asked for a printout and one of the CS guys charged her 159TL, non of the hotel ever charge a fee for the printout, and I complained He refunded it, I think management needs to inform the staff never to ask for payment for the print outs. I did not want the give fewer stars to the hotel since it was some of the staff's issues that needed to be trained properly. My wife also was not happy when She was checking in, the front desk was smiling and warm, and welcoming particularly one of the ladies would not answer my wife's request despite my wife's repeated 3 times. Those issues have to be handled by the management, providing good training. The front desk is the first impression of any hotel. Good luck.

Hotel is very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They did not speak English and I couldn't speak Turkish but they always smiled and tried to help me. Room was very comfortable. Nice and warm. Quiet. Shower very nice and powerful. Breakfast was fantastic. Excellent variety and very flavoursome. The hotel is in a good location. I would make a reservation tbthis hotel again.

The housekeeper and F&B's team are ok and do the job ok. However, reception and reservation departments need to learn how to do the basic rules of the front office job and how to approach hotel guests correctly. This hotel needs good management to teach this basic hotel concept of how things work. Of course, I won't go to the Rox Hotel again. It is not a four starts hotel service and decoration that is even not close..there is no alcoholic drink licence and very poor breakfast.

We rented two rooms for two nights. The Expedia website only presented the option of rooms with two beds, though we wanted one room with a single large bed and a room with two beds. On arriving, I explained that, and the front desk was Nice enough to give us what we wanted. The two rooms were right across the hall from each other. One was fine. The other room had a strange smell, so I thought I would run the water in the shower to clear the drain. Upon turning on the water, though, the shower head popped off the hose and water sprayed all over me and the room. I went down immediately and reported it, and upon sending a worker to confirm, the manager gave us an upgraded room on the same floor. Really great service. Also, props to the valets, who did a good job managing the awkward parking situation.
Of note, the bathrooms have glass walls with blinds. Unfortunately, our blinds were broken, so there really was not much privacy. We didn’t report it, but probably should have.

The property is in a decent location with plenty of eateries nearby. My stay didn't begin well as the car I had booked from the airport didn't arrive where I had requested and then charged more than I was told it would be. I was quoted 130 but charged 154. I was told this was because of tax. When I received the invoice the bill was for 110.17 excluding tax and 130 with it, so somebody had made a profit there.
They have decent food from the ground floor restaurant but no room service. You have to go down, order and pay and the then they will bring to your room which doesn't make much sense.
The rooms are modern and clean but the TV, despite having hundreds of channels, only has one or two in English and they are just news channels so bring a book!

This felt like false advertising, The lady at the reception was awfully rude. Phones were not being answered despite having booked for an airport shuttle, I had to find my own way there. Upon arrival, I was made to pay an additional 10 Euro for the room. The receptionist made an error on entering my passport number in her system, which would then be my wifi password. I had a hard time logging in, made several trips to and from the reception, as she wouldn't answer calls on the landline from the room. It was frustrating.
I booked a massage ahead of time only to be told thsi wouldnt be possible. I had carried my sports wear for a quick work out since Expedia says there is a gym, To my surprise, I was told there isn't one. This was rough as I expected to relax during my stay.
However, the hotel's butlers and concierge were very kind and helpful the entire time. They went out of their way to make my stay better, despite the situation. The hotel was also very clean with well kept and modern furniture. Their breakfast was healthy, filling and delicious, I have nothing to take away from it. The location was convenient as it was close to most areas I needed to go to i.e. stores, restaurants, pubs, ATMs etc.

This is a very nice hotel, well maintained, fun entrance cafe area, nice buffet breakfast on the top level with a good view of the city. Great location for our business purposes. The rooms are compact, but everything you need is there - USB outlets in the lamps, plenty of plugs (something you don't always find in Turkey), a safe in the closet. Bathrooms have decent showers/shower heads, hair dryer. We needed a place to meet with another person and they were courteous to let us use the breakfast space when no one else was using it. They need to upgrade their soaps (very tiny, had to keep asking for more every day) and their towels (stiff and flat). A small thing, but would make a big difference in the feeling of comfort.

Yukarıda ki kahvaltı salonuna bir kahve içmeye çıktım, aşırı yemek korkuyor. Peynirler dışarıda çok beklemiş. Kahvaltı çok kötüydü. Aşçı işini severek yapmıyor belli ki, aslında çok düzgün bir otel konum şahane her yere yakın o da da güzel, daha temiz olursa süper olur. Wir kamen relativ spät an, der Empfang an der Rezeption war ok. Wir hatten drei Zimmer, 2 davon waren die Badezimmer mit Schimmel befallen. Das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe, ich würde das Frühstücksbuffet für eine Pension als ausreichend empfinden aber nicht für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Kaffee gibt es nur als Instant Kaffee als Pulver, \"normaler\" Filterkaffee nur gegen Bezahlung als extra zu haben. Des Weiteren gab es nur \"pseudo-menemen\" weder Spiegel- noch Rühreier. Auf Anfrage hieß es man könne gegen Extra Bezahlung gerne Omelett servieren. Alles in allem ist ein guter Start in den Arbeitstag mit einem solchen enttäuschend schlechtem Frühstück nicht wirklich möglich! Der Mitarbeiter Abdullah war sehr bemüht die Situation zu entschärfen und hat kostenlosen Filterkaffee gebracht und sich entschuldigt. Das war wenigstens ein Lichtblick!

Otolde ücretsiz otopark hizmeti sunulduğu yazıyor. Fakat dışarıda 3 araçlık otopark yerleri mevcut. Akşam gittiğimde araç parketmek için lobiden hizmet almak istedim. Lobideki görevli arkadaş otoparkın dolu olduğunu caddede yer bulup parketmem gerektiğini söyledi.
