Spacious entry and sitting area. We found the bar to be a nice comfortable area to relax after a day of walking around the town. It was only an eight minute walk to town, which is very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Topend hotel at a reasonable price.

Beautiful large bedroom.
Bathroom a bit dated but very clean.
Shower leaves you frustrated.
Service at reception helpful to a fault. Maybe a checkout key service would speed things up.
Enormous foyer area with comfortable chairs to relax on.

Easy check-in. Polite and professional man on reception. Spacious room. Quiet. Nice shower. Amazingly comfortable large bed with sumptuous bedding. I didn't want to leave. Plenty of street parking. Option to pay 10€ for indoor parking.

Would not recommend. Not clean.

Our room had multiple white stains on the floor, the walls and curtains had stains of what looked to be mustard or similar.

We changed rooms and the second room had broken air condition and the door to the bathroom would not close, due to being misaligned.

The breakfast had a booking system, we came 10 min early but still had to wait 20 min longer. There were no clean glasses for the juice, both coffee machines were out of order.

The gym and spa was closed.

Would not recommend.

A nice stay

Room was very spacious, bed was comfortable, shower worked well with lots of hot water. We enjoyed using the outdoor swimming pool, paid 5 euros extra to park our car undercover. Hotel is located in a quiet part of town, about 20 minutes walk to good restaurants and shops.

Very loud music until midnight three nights out of seven, meaning that we couldn't sleep properly.

Poor hygiene in restaurant. I had food poisoning at breakfast and had to stay in bed all day. After that I couldn't risk any any food that might be \"off\", so I was very limited in what I could eat. This was a waste of the money I had paid for a full buffet.

The hotel wifi was incredibly slow and went off constantly. This meant I had to pay a lot of extra money to use the mobile phone network.

Very tired hotel could do with updating, staff friendly but service was poor had to ask for everything, but took a while to get it. Beds were hard as rock so not much quality sleep, no heating so had to ask for blankets and everywhere was really dark and dingy.

Room for improvement

Although we were surprised by the amenities offered at the hotel, there was room for improvement. The restaurant stafff was disorganized so coffee machines and toasters did not work. Some staff members were very rude. Plates were not cleared. However the food was very good. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed pretty much every meal.
The general upkeep of the hotel is lacking....torn carpets, unfinished painting, burned lampshades, torn curtains. It was kept clean by the staff.
Location was great. Front desk staff was helpful and efficient.
I would tell a friend to stay there but to be aware that it is run down.

A functional 4-star hotel

The hotel is a large block built on the edge of town, where a lot of new development seems to be happening. Location is good for those travelling with their own cart, as on-street and covered parking is available. Hotels in town make parking problematic!
The rooms are nice, spacious, clean and airy. There is a pool, with cafe overlooking and a small bar area that also serves snack food. There is also a wonderful restaurant on the premises too.
The hotel partly-sponsors a little \"tourist train\" that meanders through all the major sights and this is highly recommended as a way to travel into town and back. You can get on and off at will.

The hotel breakfast price compared to local area restaurants was dabble. The health centre (swimming pool, gym, Sona,...) only open 12:30-22:00 which we couldn't use it as we went out at 11:00 till late in the evening. The room was a bit cold at night and we request the heating but they said it is not a winter time so no hearing at the moment.

Good for the money

the stay was good. This one was one hotel of a series of hotels we used while we travel. Again some of the information provided was not accurate by offering things that were out of service or not provided unless there was an extra charge or fee for using the service, where the description made it sound it was part of the stay or use of the hotel. Apart from that the receptionists where very polite and helpful and the hotel was easy to find. They have a restaurant at the hotel so we were able to eat when we got there late that night.

Very big property. Lots of rooms. Size of rooms are great. Big and comfortable. Bed are extremely great. Centralised heating in december is not so ideal as not all guest wants the room to be warm as the a/c is blowing warm air into the room. We have to turn off the a/c or heating in order not to have a warm room to sleep. Wifi is great. Free and good connection Free public parking around the hotel. Few minutes drive to the center and also walkable distance. Near to a shopping mall nearby. Although room is a little outdated but the colours and decoration of the room is nice. Very clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Antequera Golf our room was great, a large room which was very cosy great bathroom. If you are planning to eat out for dinner then you will find it hard to find restaurants very limited.

Noisy and crowded hotel

We were offered a room with shower instead of a bath, also the room was of a low standard. The room was situated in a noisy area. The booking date coincided with a spanish holiday and it was too crowded, mainly with noisy spaniards. The most enduring experience was at night , we couldnt sleep due to the noise some people were making outside our room .

Déception absolue. Premièrement à l’arrivée: notre demande de grand lit n’a pas été honorée et aucune solution ne nous a été proposée. Nous avons dû dormir 9 nuits dans 2 lits séparés avec un trou entre les deux matelas ! Ensuite, personne ne nous a prévenu à l’arrivée qu’un groupe de 200 personnes arrivait 2 jours après pendant 3 jours. Nous recherchions du calme pour notre séjour et nous avons du subir le bruit d’un groupe aux repas, dans les couloirs et à la piscine où ils envahissaient les transats et mettaient leur musique à fond pendant toute la journée ! Déception aussi du personnel car personne n’a le sourire dans cet hôtel à part Cristina dans la salle du buffet. C’est la seule qui soit professionnelle et avenante. Tous les autres membres ne sont pas aimables et surtout ne cherchent absolument pas à répondre aux demandes des clients! Même demander une sangria au bar est compliqué alors que nous sommes au pays de cette boisson !! Quel dommage pour un 4 étoiles ! Nous ne reviendrons pas et sommes mêmes partis une nuit plus tôt que prévu car nous étions vraiment déçus. L’hospitalité dans cet hôtel est à travailler fortement. Il semble que les critères d’accueil espagnols ne soient pas au niveau des nôtres en France.

Quartos do século passado, mau cheiro, pó por todo o lado, chão em carpete! Mini frigorífico mesmo mini e não refresca.
Ficamos uma noite com meia pensão (jantar). Comida fria e de muito fraca qualidade. Sobremesas todas artificiais. Pequeno almoço sem um único sumo natural (tudo sumos aguados e cheios de açúcar). Café de máquina a saber mal. As 20h somos expulsos da piscina ( com o calor ainda se faz sentir aquela hora…) sendo que a piscina é boa e o espaço exterior também. O único positivo é a cama ser confortável e a casa de banho tb era bastante grande. Os funcionários também eram simpáticos !

Segundo año que volvemos. Fin de semana en pareja. Limpieza buena. Habitacion amplia. Hotel tranquilo para desconectar un poco del bullicio de la ciudad. Piscina buena. Zona buena para aparcar. Desayuno completo y variado. Las cenas quizas le falta un poquito mas de variedad pero tienes comidas para cenar bien.

The Antequera Hills fails to meet expectations, as presented.

Large hotel with modern facade but lack personal service quality and overall appearance to meet up to its promises. It is actually quite worn.

Check-in has room for improvement in most areas. You are a guest, not someone needing correctional actions.
And where are luggage carts when needed?

Outdated and unpersonal rooms with ”spare” furniture and outdated textiles. Tried a suite but not worth the extra cost. Would be nice to have a waist paper bin. And a shower cabin in a suite - really?
The terrass had more weeds than our backyard.

A quite basic, boring and school type bar and restaurant. Only buffe and opens at eight - good to know if you have another schedule. I give it to them being bold enough to charge 14 euros extra for breakfast.

Not a memorable hotel experience for travelling couples but maybe a decent overnight stop for business or as a turist group. View from higher up is nice, easy to reach, good parking but surroundings rural.

The hotel is dog friendly - it says. However, we fast learned that our dog does not fit the template. Another harsh and not so valuable lesson. Now we know - time to put her on a diet.

The conclution is that four stars alone does not provide quality - nice experiences during the stay does. I would give two stars - and that is stretching it.

Poor customer service not only destroys existing customer relationships. It also puts at risk future prospects.

Die Anlage ist recht schön, aber leider ist das Essen (Frühstück als auch Abendessen) keinen 4Sterne-STandard Wert. Das Essen ist lieblos serviert, hat keinen Geschmack und das Personal leider nicht sehr motiviert. Die Essensräume haben eher das Flair einer Betriebskantine

muy completo,instalaciones comunes bastante modernas y habitaciones limpias y super amplias.
Tienen que mejorar los colchones, las habitaciones estan un poco anticuadas y el hotel está un poco lejos del centro aunque tiene buen aparcamiento y acceso.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana en Antequera. Instalaciones buenas, las habitaciones amplias y comodas. Servicio de limpieza correcto. Una buena piscina para estar relajado y refrescarte. El servicio de comer correcto, teniamos MP. Bufet libre en desayuno y cena, bebidas pago aparte. Si vas en coche se puede aparcar bien por la zona.
Sin duda repeterimos para descansar y desconectar.

Inconvenientes por doquier

Espero que los visitantes de este hotel de\" 4*\"(entre comillas, a mi parecer no lo es) tengan más suerte que tuvimos nosotros, pues de los 7 días hubimos de cambiar de habitación 3
1ª No nos dieron la habitación seleccionada.
2ª la nueva habitación, tenía rastros de haber tenido humedades en el techo. El lugar de la ropa minúsculo para maletas de 7 dias. Y ya el culmen fue no poder dormir por la firmeza de la almohada, casi sin relleno.
Desde esta si se veía la piscina, pero los cristales estaban sucuos, de tiempo.
La 3ª habitación era la mejor, pero como en las demás la limpieza era escasa. Los cajones vacíos tenían suciedad. El colchón por abajo, deshilachado y con colgajos.
En ninguna habitación que estuvimos no había ni papel ni bolígrafo ni guía alguna de como o donde llamar a recepción.La penúltima noche, se nos fue el Aire Acon, digo de paso el teléfono de la habitación y de las otras 2 no funcionaba,el de los baños, no tenia ni el cable a la clavija. Incluso llamamos con nuestro móvil al número del hotel con tan mala suerte que nadie cogió el teléfono así que fuimos a recepción a dar la consiguiente queja y un operario lo soluciono.
El día anterior a nuestra salida, vinimos a las 14:00 h. de la piscina (teníamos reserva en un restaurante a 14:30) no funcionaban las llaves de tarjeta, tuvimos que hacer otra visita a recepción, y recorrer todo el hall en ropa de baño,
Y llegar tarde al restaurante muy concurrido.
