The Park Lees hotel is located in the Gushan District of Kaohsiung City. There is a nearby Aozodi Forest Park that is beautiful and the popular Love River canal, and is conveniently located next to a local strain station. The area surrounding the hotel is very safe and walkable. The newer style hotel has a small lobby but doesn’t offer much in the way of amenities like free breakfast. The rooms are newer and the sink and shower have very good water pressure. Some quirks include having to use the hand soap for shampoo/body wash which makes it inconvenient to have to keep remembering to bring it into the shower. The in-room Nespresso machine is a nice touch. But for $140 USD per night there are many choices available with better amenities. I would recommend the hotel offer 1 hour late checkout without charging a $1000 NTD fee.

Best location to stay if u are planning to watch a concert at the Kaohsiung Arena. It's 2 MRT stops from the HSR zuoying station. Very convenient location. The famous night market is just 5 mins walk away. Room wise I am very impressed. The bathroom design, room interior and amenities given to us are really good. Bath tub is really new and well designed. Breakfast is a small setting but I feel the spread is really delicious. Fruits given are generous. The porridge with small dishes is my favourite. Soup is also very tasty. I usually will grab their plain yogurt and pair with the fresh fruits, especially the freshly cut passion fruit ! Yummy.. definitely a highly recommended hotel

Convenient location easily accessible from Arena Mrt station, Exit 2. Walking distance to Ruefang night market (open on certain nights), Arena stadium, Hanshin Shopping mall (super big). Nice hotel, quality finishes, snacks like biscuits, fruits, gummies available to guests at lobby. Hotel provided some canned drinks in room free of charge. Comfortable beddings. I had a twin room, space a bit tight to open up 2 luggages. Nespresso machine provided. No coasters provided for hot cups. Toilet and shower area separated by glass screens. The only thing I find strange is the toilet mirror is not in front of sink but to the side. Didn't like that as it's inconvenient. First time I come across such a design in hotel toilet.

Close to subway station, pleasant stay and friendly stuff. At check in, one lady at reception noticed the next day was my birthday. When we returned from dinner, she handed me a bag with cakes as a present, which we enjoyed very much. I missed asking her name, but I will never forget her kindness and hospitality. Definitely 5 star 5 diamond hotel. Attention to detail is what makes one stand out from another. Staffs are professional and room are well maintained. I used to be a hotelier so I know what to pick out and there was not one single thing I can pick on in this hotel. Our housekeeper was excellent – you can tell she paid attention to every corner and items in the room. To note- the AC grill was dust-free, the caulking on the wall are defined so you know the room was well kept. Love the wainscot wall panel- reminds me of the Peninsula. Will definitely come back to this hotel next time in Kaohsiung and I’ve never said that about any hotel. I had a wonderful stay and hoped I stayed there longer. Until next time =)

In the shower, there is one very narrow rack for the body wash and hair conditioner. No hook and no space for your own stuff (which guests are very much encouraged to bring your own).
