Super friendly and accomodating staff. Less than 10 min walk fom Kaoshsiung station. Breakfast buffet is extensive. Food is prepared with fresh ingridients but the taste could be little improved. You can have free ice cream, coffe & tea, and cereal all day long. Free to use laundry machine & drier come with detergent, ironing items, laundry net & basket. Room is very clean. Bonus is shower slippers.

The location is walkable distance from the train station. The staff is very friendly. They provide ice cream and nice drinks for free on the 1st floor. The hotel is the only one without a moldy smell during our 6 days at Taiwan. The interior and room looks like newly renovated and modern. There are multiple shower heads and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the full breakfast where fresh vegetables are served which is nice after we had night market food the night before. The price is incredible for the quality!

The hotel is very convenient as it is just near the Kaohsiung Station. You can take metro, train and high speed train to anywhere. The staff are well mannered. Booked this hotel due to the location that next to Kaohsiung station which is convenient and easy to get around town. Nice and clean room and electric seat toilet and multi shower heads in the shower. We have the upgrade to 2 double bed although we booked for 1. We are a couple and in this case 2 beds didn’t have any benefit to us. Free bottled water everyday. Love the breakfast, both western and traditional. Would recommend this hotel.

This was a great hotel to stay in while I was in Kaohsiung for a conference. The room was clean and comfortable. It was in walking distance of Kaohsiung station (though it is across the overpass and the train tracks, it is not the one across the street ). Overall, it is a good hotel and I enjoyed my stay.

Prior to booking this Kindness hotel we had stayed in another Kindness hotel in Hualien and absolutely loved it. This hotel provided the same excellent service, free evening snacks, excellent breakfast, etc. except it was a bit older so the conditions of the rooms and bathroom, etc were not as new. The hotel appeared to be near Kaohsiung train station yet it was not easy to get to as everyone had to cross over the railway line (using a strange \"platform\" where free tickets were issued at one end and collected at the other end. Outside the hotel there were many places advertised for massage services which we found not suitable for family like ours.

Kindness hotel is a decent business hotel for its price. It has all the stuff you need to stay for a few days. The room is not so big.
It's about 8 minute walk from the MRT station and you need to walk across the train tracks. The neighborhood there is not so bright at night, so you should avoid.

1-night stay in Kaohsiung
Our (family of 4, with 9 and 11 year-old) one-night stay in this hotel was great. The room was relatively small but it was modern, clean and had everything we needed, including good wifi. The children loved the free ice-cream & bikes, and Mom loved the free laundry. It's located very close to the TRA railway station (another Kindness hotel is also located on the opposite side of the train station with easier access to the bus station and metro). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a combination of western & Chinese foods with enough choice for a decent western breakfast. We will definitely stay with this chain again!

I stayed in Kindness Hotel Houyi Jiuru for 2 nights and this is the best hotel I have stayed so far in Taiwan. Its location is excellent, near to the Kaohsiung main station and there are several restaurants nearby too. The hotel is pretty new and clean. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The amenities and services provided by the hotel is of high standard. They serve nice breakfast with wide varieties and also provides snacks at night.

泊まった部屋が11階だったことと、ドアが二重ドアになっている事もあるのか、とても静かに過ごせました。
