I really wanted to like this guest house. The room was dark. White paint would be great. And, unfortunately, the bathroom has only one small towel bar on the shower door. Bangkok is hot and sweaty. There's a need to rinse out clothes and hang hand and bath towels. There is no place to do that.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Spotlessly clean. Large rooms with modern amenities. Reception staff super friendly and helpful. Even came to the police station with me when my husband went missing the first night (he forgot the name of the hotel). I absolutely recommend it.

We loved our stay at Orchid House 153! The beds were super comfortable and the whole place had a cute, calming aesthetic with orchids in bloom. The only downside was the wet-room bathroom — the shower leaked and left the floor wet longer than ideal.
The location is perfect: a quiet street but steps from great restaurants, shops, and Old City attractions. We visited the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Khaosan Road, went shopping, got a massage and took a nap — all in one day. Super convenient and charming stay!

We had a wonderful stay at The Orchid House. The service was excellent, super friendly and very helpful. When we checked in the room had two single beds, we asked about a double and they were fully booked. We came back from a day out in Bangkok to find that they had turned our two singles into a very large double bed. Room had a big wet room and was cleaned daily (if you want). Fridge with cold water in glass bottles (which you will be very grateful for) and AC. Great location, 5 mins walk from Khao Sam Rd.

It is in a very quite place, with a little monastery nearby, but at the same time close to more busy areas with many dining options etc. Walking distance to Khaosan Road and to the river, where one can take the boat and go to many places. This was my third stay at the Orchid House and I’ve been satisfied each time. The room is clean and comfortable with food amenities and is on a quiet street close to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend and plan to stay again on my next trip of Bangkok.

Very good place for the price. It is not very noisy. It is clean, comfy beds and cleaning service good as well. Position very good for Khaosan rd it is about 10 min walk. No receptionist after 22:00 but no problem at all because you have a tag to open the main entrance. I would stay again if in Bangkok. Taxi to the hotel from last stop of airport train is about 100 bahts.

Great hotel. A fair way from the airport, but close to the river for the river boat to get around. A few places locally to eat and drink too. Breakfast was good.

I picked this hotel based on reviews and area. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was on the 2nd floor, no elevators so you do have to carry your luggage up flights. The air conditioner worked great, our room was nice and cold. Room was small but fits 2 people great. They offer a safe and a robe in the closet and shampoo, soap, toothbrushes. There is a refrigerator, you can have 2 free waters a day. WiFi worked great. It’s a short 10 min walk to Khao San road which was great. A Lot of local food but I will say a little more expensive because of the tourism In this area. We used public transit a lot here, buses, metro, ferries, the grab app (taxis/private cars). This hotel is close to the water so it was easy to take the ferry down the river to Grand Palace, Wat Phra or China Town, 30 baht for 2 people. To Chatuchak Market we took the public bus to the metro, about 45 min or so, but an easy ride. Overall I think with the hustle and bustle of the city, I’m glad we had a quit area to come back to. For the price, I would def consider it :)

I would definitely come back here for every time I visit Bangkok. The hotel has just opened for over a month, so literally there were no review or not much information while booked. But I still took risks and never regretted. Room is huge and great decoration. The staff are super helpful and professional. Every morning we were happy to have breakfast brought to room without any extra fee. They even asked me what type of foods we 'd like to eat, Thai style or English breaky. Staying here made my holiday completely amazing. Thank you so much to all staff at The Orchid House.
