The room was in poor condition and located next to a sewage line, resulting in a constant foul smell. The staff were not very friendly or helpful, which added to the unpleasant experience. The amenities were minimal and did not match what is expected from a five-star property. Overall, the hotel is overpriced for the facilities and service provided and does not justify its high rating.

However, they sent a vehicle that didn't meet our need. They have rectified it on contacting but the whole situation left us stranded at the airport for a short period.

Somebody stole my jackets that are in my room. I notified the hotel mgmt. They told me
That they are working on it but so far poor response. I suggest Expedia should delist them in their searches for a hotel in Hyderabad. We don't somebody to go thru the same pain that we are going thru currently.

The Marigold is easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. The property is impeccably maintained, spotlessly clean, and offers every amenity you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread at Breakers is outstanding – an impressive variety that ranges from continental classics to authentic Indian dishes and a wide selection of hot items. The ambience in the dining area elevated the entire experience; listening to soothing live flute and violin music while enjoying breakfast was the perfect, almost magical way to start each day.

Location-wise, the hotel couldn’t be more convenient, with easy access to everything I needed in the city. The staff, for the most part, were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful – a big highlight of the stay. The only slight letdown was the reception team, who came across as a bit indifferent compared to the rest of the crew. That said, the in-house restaurants more than made up for it; the Japanese restaurant has instantly become one of my absolute favourites in the city – exceptional quality and flavour.

Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying and memorable stay. I’ll definitely be returning to the Marigold the next time I’m in town and have no hesitation recommending it to others looking for a top-tier hotel experience.

The room I got with King Size bed was very neat and clean, very comfortable, and the front office staff ( I remember one name 'Usha') was amazing. She went over and beyond to help to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hyderabad. I had my buffet dinner as well buffet breakfast and both were beyond my expectations with lots of variety. The bar selection was also good and servings were very good. The booking experience was terrible and very disappointing. I had booked a banquet hall for an event. The hotel did not provide any free room for the host. The banquet team redirected me to the front desk to book the room. I was shocked to hear for the first time that they can take my reservation in person and asked me to book online. The online experience is much worst. I am not the only person had issued. during my stay, I hear customers how disappointed with the reservation experience.

The service desk took almost an hour to provide us the room despite of confirmed booking. The AC duct had leakage issue and the room , bathroom was full of water due to it. After several complains they manage to get it cleaned and transfer us to new room after we pushed them. The new room too had problem where door after locking was getting open from outside without key card. The desk was informed around 6 in evening and they assured to resolve it however after I was back from meeting at night, I was surprised to see no action was taken, again despite of several complains they managed to send someone mid night to get it done. In all the incidence the manager never bother to be available. Worst service

My experience was horrible. Firstly, they took almost 40 minutes for check-in. Next morning I got up with water all over the room (leakage from the AC vent) and no hot water supply to the shower. After 30 minutes of insisting, we finally got our room changed. The same night I had to get the 2nd room changed as well, since the main door's lock wasnt functional.

Marigold is a very good property in Hyderabad. Location relatively good. But the staff working there were very casual. A king bed room is prepared in the way that was in the picture. After explaining the situation We were alloted another room where civil works are going and noise is to it's peak. At last after 3 hrs of check in we were alloted a peaceful room. But the owes continued..i am sleeping and the staff opened my room door walked in and went off.. later buzzer sounds and i woke with a gentleman saying sorry disturbing me from my sleep. Lights washrooms were dim.the slope of floor not scientific hence water stands up every where. A beautiful property in bad hands. SILVER LINING IS THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT.THE CHEFS HAVE MAGIC IN THEIR HANDS... REQUEST MANAGEMENT TO MAKE NECESSARY CORRECTIONS.

Gorgeous hotel in a convenient location

Clean, quiet hotel with a lot of pizazz. The road leading to it can be appear to be chaotic and loud, but Marigold is a sanctuary. The interior is tastefully decorated and oozes class. The rooms are inviting and stocked with all the amenities expected out of a star hotel. The breakfast is great as is the food in the restaurants. Nothing is walkable in the neighborhood - the traffic is a menace. But many places are quite close and Uber/Ola show up easily to the front door.

Service was curt and cold. Was told to leave the queue and make myself comfortable and that they would call me when it's my turn to check in, but they kept serving the walk-ins. Had to rejoin the queue all over again otherwise I might end up waiting the whole night there.

Room was dated and old. Mirrors were tarnished around the edges, leather chair was mouldy and the power points were damaged. The plug on the iron was missing a pin and I spotted a baby cockroach in the toilet. To top things off, I nearly slipped and fell after housekeeping left the floors mopped but still wet.

Breakfast was a small spread though there was plenty of bottled water provided in the room.

The property of Marigold itself was good and the staff was good, wish there was more seating at the buffet but otherwise it’s good. The staff were awesome, they gave us our packages to our room. My issue wasn’t with the hotel but with the other guests staying there sometimes, some nights there would be weddings and it would draw party guests and they started smoking excessively in the hallways and yelling in the middle of the night

Outside and loby are appealing, room needs better maintenance. I arrived 10 hrs afrer my check-in time. They told me that the room was not ready, had to wait 30 min. They refused to give a second key for my room. After check-in another guest came in my door with a key for the same room. Had troubl with wifi. Hallway and outdoor smelled like garbage. No happy at all

For a four/five star property this is poorly maintained .
We dtsyrd gof 8 nights - first five we were in a room with poir housekeeping- floor was never vleaned and sheets not changed toiletries randomly replaced
The room was below a banquet hall and every night we heard loud music snd singing in the room until way past midnight and ghen we heard furniture bein rearranged
All day everywhere including atbreakfast staff were seen giving preferential treatment to certain families and hotel management while other paying hotel guests watched on waiting for second level service
The staff are friendly and try but they need training and definitely the management needs training

They are running a banquet facility in a 5 star hotel but have got neither the space or proper banquet management facilities

I have been in this property many times before, the service used to be very good and the facilities were ok. But this time many issues happened, which as a sum lead me to the decision of not staying here again. Main trouble, internet at my room, somehow the router was down and as the IT department just starts at 08.00 am I spent around 14 hours with no service, for a business traveler that is dead, I had to go to public spaces to work which was very uncomfortable. If the issue was the room they should have move me to another one! Another trouble was the iron, it has some dirt stick to it and when I was preparing my clothes one of my shirts was ruined. Breakfast used to be quite goods, but now I found cold massala chai, cold coffee and bad attention. Look for another option if you are a business traveler.

Warmly welcomed, complimentary room upgrade, - nicely decorated each day and with a perfect laundry service for little money, excellent breakfast both Indian and Contintental included. Rich dinner either as buffet or delicious pizza mediterranean style a la carte. Super lounge 'Mystique', happy hours for residents daily from 4pm on. Big thanks to Venkatesh, Paul, and all the friendly staff at the reception, in the restaurant and bar as well as our cleaning fairy.

The hotel had so much going for it, nice staff and a well maintained modern lobby area. However the real disappointment was the room itself. The room looked stunning in daylight but soon it turned out to be my worst nightmare. There was a very fowl smell in my room and to make things worse I was bitten by mosquitoes throughout the night and in the end I ended up sleeping with my hat on (the mosquito bites were surprisingly painful and their buzzing kept waking me up). I barely slept a wink that night and the next morning as I woke up I realised I was covered in bed ticks. This is the most expensive hotel I've stayed in India and would easily go down as one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in.

Right from the start the staff became our friends and made our experience memorable, from the manager Shaan and Aprita, the front desk staff and restaurant staff, all were amazing! The artwork in the hotel is sensational, very well placed and interesting! We ate at the Mekong restaurant and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had, also the main restaurant is amazing for breakfast with a huge selection and all food delicious. It’s the small touches that count , from chocolates to experimental cocktails in the Mystique bar that contributed to our fantastic stay at the Marigold!
Definitely highly recommend a stay at this wonderful hotel!

Calm amidst the chaos

The Marigold is a well appointed, clean and welcoming hotel, with attentive and helpful staff. The two restaurants provide a wide range of good food, of which I ate far too much (good sign) during my 4 day stay on business in Hyderabad.
On my day off the hotel's dedicated transport manager arranged an excellent full day, 8 hour tour of the 'must see' sights of the city with my own driver for the day as well as the two airport transfers. Even if you are a confident driver in foreign countries DO NOT hire a car here. Taxis and drivers arranged by the hotel are affordable and competent in what is a 'challenging' traffic environment... dramatic understatement there.
Hyderabad is a fast growing city with much-needed infrastructure under construction, vibrant and intensely busy. The Marigold's gated (3 security guards at the entrance) environment provided me an oasis of calm amongst the colourful chaos of the city.
The staff were polite, numerous and eager to make sure I had everything I needed for a happy, successful stay. They were really great liaising with the airport to get my 'lost' suitcase (thanks BA) couriered to the hotel for me asap.
I will be returning to Hyderabad in around 4 weeks,... and I will be staying at the Marigold.

I had a nice stay at the Marigold, a nice step up from the Green Park, their next door sister property. They rate it as a 5 star hotel, but I would say it's a 4 compared to luxury 5 star properties I have stayed in. First time - I struggled to get normal charger. No charger of normal samsung one. Stayed with my mobile switched off entire night.
Second time - Cool & Good for 1 night.
Third Time - Parking person lifts 3 2000 notes that I forget in my car.
Fourth time - No show cause of flight delay, still charged two days even after intimating them on right time. Requested to charge for one night. They refused and charged all 2 nights booked for.

I never visit again.

A great place for a break. Polite,friendly and helpful staff. The toilet hose would leak and cause a puddle so had to turn tap off. could also hear corridor noises whilst in the room. But other than these two problems it was a great stay.
