Property for the most part was clean and staff were friendly. Hotel is older and it shows. However it had great character which you won't find in newer hotels which are cookie cutter these days. Don't shy away from this one!!!

The location is okay although I didn't find choices of restaurants. The room is spacious and you can see the theme as once grand before and now it looks outdated. They don't provide much amenities and their towels are not in good condition. The bed is good and clean.

This 5 star hotel is bit far from city close to ai

This 5 star hotel is bit far from city close to airport breakfast it's ok not the best dinner also is ok.tje only problems is they have some kind of problem with the air-condition I believe they need to fit new units not the old system as did never work the room too hot during the summer there is little fridge in your room at nights sometimes disco so loud no way you can sleep.

Solid 6-8 - great personal service!

Good stay. I arrived in first week of May. Room I paid for was Junior suite. Only problem was it had no ac or fan options, as they said it is not summer yet and they are in winter months? Temperature was around 20 at night and 24-26 during the day.

Things maybe out of their control: Lots of noise too because it was Saturday night and another hotel nearby had a rooftop bar which was playing loud music. I requested room change which was done quickly, and now I was on the road side … 5/6 am onwards noise outside woke me up. I suppose that can happen to anyone. But, service was absolutely good.

Breakfast was budget buffet but good enough for me.

Overall, I’d give it a solid 6/7 from me, maybe 8 if the service of night reception and morning (Hamza) is to take in account. They went out of their way to make it comfortable for me. Thank you guys!

Spacious suite for the price of a room.

The staff are welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. I arrived at a very unsociable hour (2 am!) and they got me checked in quickly so I could rest. The room itself is massive, with a huge 4 poster bed and a lovely sitting area. Bathroom has a tub with overhead shower, plus a separate shower cubicle. The bathroom could do with a deep clean, it's an older building so starting to show some stains, but nothing of concern. The included breakfast was lovely. I did attempt to order room service but what I wanted wasn't available, which was a bit disappointing. Overall I would recommend this as a not-quite-5-star option at a fantastic price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Maison Blanche for two nights, and it was an enchanting experience from start to finish.

Check-In and First Impressions:
The check-in process was seamless. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff and immediately struck by the hotel's elegant and charming decor. The lobby, with its classic French-inspired design, set a luxurious tone for our stay.

PRO:The room was huge and provided comfortable seating and sleeping. It served our purpose which was an overnight hotel during transit.
CON: There were no places to eat and the staff could not tell us where we could find a place for dinner. The signs for the hotel are quite hidden from the street so could be difficult to find if arriving by yourself.

I only liked there was a place to sleep at night for me. I wish I never paid upfront for 9 nights reservations without refund! The bed was very uncomfortable and when I asked to help change/upgrade room they flat out said “No”. I am very disappointed with their service. I didn’t feel safe. The night receptionist was very rude and made me feel unwelcome throughout my stay. I had to sleep somewhere else one night because of the receptionist during the evening. He never helped me with most of my requests like towels, fixing the mini fridge…etc. He will also asks me to pay extra fee for family to visit me. The rooms were not cleaned some days even though I left early in the morning. I was new to Tunis and Maison Blanche hotel made my short experience a living hell. I hope travelers stay away from this hotel.

WORST HOTEL I STRONGLY do not recommend to anyone

First, It was the worst hotel that I've never experienced! So dirty, air conditioning system not working or working as ventilation only. I had to ask the receptionist to change my suite but still the same issue. I am wondering how it could be a 5stars hotel!!!
It's not worth it to rate it even for 2 stars...You need to think carefully before choosing to stay here, the pictures and facilities mentioned in their website doesn't reflect the shocking reality.
Second, the breakfast was terrible and no options at all, I could only drink coffee and took one glass of water.(croissant, cakes and bread were all not fresh and you could see easily mosquitoes flying around)
P.S. I regret staying in this hotel and I couldn't cancel my staying as it's not free cancellation booking.

I liked nothing other than it was close to where I wanted for my next day meeting
However, it was terrible night as I could not sleep due to the AC not working and they could not resolve and the room I was moved to was the same, they have issue with their AC
Breakfast was terrible, staff were sleeping on the couches yet came 30 minutes after the time and it was held at the Bar with no proper tables, had to sit on a couch and put my plate on a coffee table
Food forget it, just had piece of bread as the cooling counter was not cold so could not trust

Very poor service, staff did not acknowledge me and did not even know about local places to visit. Would give false information and waste more of our precious time. In 5 days I stayed only had 1 small water bottle given for the entire 5 days. When leaving didn’t even get a goodbye, or help with luggage even though visibly struggling, not even help opening the door they just was on their mobile phones. Breakfast was very dull, a selection of breads and juices, very very poor for a 5 star. Rooms look extremely outdated, no slippers, fridge doesn’t work, not a single English Channel and only 5 Tunisian drama channels, Bed was very uncomfortable and the cleaners were at the door at crack of dawn!! Do NOT stay here if you want a 5 star experience! Wi-fi was non existent in the rooms unless you stood in the corridor, location also very poor not much to do and hard to hail any taxis. Staff don’t speak great English so very difficult to communicate plus air conditioning doesn’t work!! How was this ever given 5 star is beyond me, I’m an avid traveller and this was one of the worst, 3 star at TOPS! Avoid avoid avoid

the hotel looks really nice, and rooms are spacious. But it is really not well maintained. They could use some serious renovations.
There is a club in or next to the hotel. We were there on a Tuesday to Wednesday, and from 23h00 to 05h00 it was impossible to sleep due to the noise. This made it very unpleasant, especially since we had business meetings early in the morning. It would have helped if we could have had a heads up regarding that prior to booking.
Location wise, it's quite convenient, as many of our meetings were planned around that area. Otherwise service was nice!
Breakfast was ok-ish, but could do better. Also the restaurant/bar/club (?!) where the breakfast was taking place was not very clean and appealing.

the hotel is extremely poorly insulated. In a high-rise opposite is a club with very loud music until late at night and the noise in the hotel room are like being on the dance floor. Sleeping hardly possible. And then from 4 clock 30 furniture in the breakfast room from right to left pushed (every morning) as if a whole moving team over the head would be active. So the hotel room is very large and luxurious, but brings little if one plans to sleep. The staff is very nice, but nothing could be done to reduce the noise level.

I dont recomand for staying more then one night . You cannot have a nice shower cuz of the smell in the toilet plus you can smell in the bed when you want to watch tv. The stuff is upset when you ask them for slippers that they should give especially when you are staying in an 5 star hotel in junior suite .

When a hotel is rated 5 stars it should offer the minimum. although the room is clean but the bathroom was smelly and house keeping did not have a tooth brush to provide which is something part of the 5 stars rating.

Loud music until 3am then garbage truck and other noise smashing bottles at 6am.Horrible view of garbage, black mould along all the tile seams in the bathroom, the safe was not operational and no Internet in most of the building. It was a bad stay, when we booked a 5 star we did not expect this. We want our money back!

Very Good Hotel in Tunis

The Hotel is a couple miles far from the center of the city, but taxi get you there with 3 DT. It is nice that it is abit far from the crowd of city center. It has an excellent bar with good music and crowd. The hotel rooms are nicely decorated and has nice floor and ceiling plans. The halls are clean and doors are made of nice weed. The hotel staff are pleasant. I satyed there twice. It is probably the best place to stay in Tunis.

Chambres et SDB très spacieuses et confortables mais établissement vétuste et, gros point noir, musique forte tous les soirs en face ou en dessous us jusqu’à 2h du matin… difficile de dormir même fenêtres fermées, les double vitrages ne sont pas efficaces.
Autre point noir : odeur de remontée de canalisation dans la SDB, vraiment désagréable.

A decoração do hotel é muito antiga. O quarto era espaçoso. Não se trata de um hotel de padrão 5 estrelas. Entendo que o mais adequado seria de 3 estrelas. A localização é boa. Nas duas primeiras manhãs o café da manhã foi servido no quarto e somente nas duas últimas no estilo buffet. O café da manhã é bom. Não foi possível utilizar a banheira porque não havia uma tampa para a saída da água.

Cet hôtel présente des aspects contrastés, à la fois positifs et négatifs. L'établissement semble avoir connu son apogée dans les années 60, offrant un luxe cinq étoiles avec une décoration harmonieuse, des sanitaires en marbre, des ornements et un souci du détail.

Cependant, plusieurs points faibles ont été relevés.
L'absence inacceptable de système de chauffage dans les chambres en novembre est problématique. De plus, les chambres doubles ne sont équipées que d'une seule couette, et la demande d'une couette supplémentaire pour une personne âgée de 92 ans n'a initialement abouti qu'à la fourniture d'un simple drap, nécessitant une insistance notable pour obtenir satisfaction. L'absence de piscine, de spa ou même d'un simple sauna constitue également un inconvénient.

En revanche, l'établissement se distingue par l'excellence de son petit-déjeuner, disponible de 6h30 à 10h30. L'emplacement est également idéal, à seulement 5 minutes en taxi du centre-ville. Le point le plus positif réside dans la qualité du personnel, de la réception aux services en chambre et au restaurant, qui s'est montré extrêmement serviable et aimable.

Il est impératif que les propriétaires envisagent des aménagements afin de restaurer le prestige d'antan, car le potentiel de cet établissement est unique.

O quarto que nos foi oferecido estava com um cheiro muito ruim e o ar condicionado não funcionava, após reclamarmos fomos mudados de quarto e sim ficou bem melhor!
Ao redor do hotel há muitos bancos mas ao caminharmos um pouco achamos restaurantes.

年配の男性のメガネをかけたスタッフですが、もちろん私の理解が不十分で全ては私が悪いのですが、朝食で20TND×2かかったのと、後は残りなんの支払いかわからんけど、合計で60TNDチェックアウトの際に支払いを求められました。
まず何故カードが使えなかったのかが疑問。この時点で手持ちは40TND、現地通貨余してもしゃーないのでチップとして20TNDを部屋に置いてあったの20TNDを部屋に戻り足してなんとか支払い。これで空港までのタクシー代は無くなり、なおかつ円を両替できる最寄の場所まで2ｋｍでフライトまで時間も無く完全に詰み状態。これはもちろん理解の足りない私の悪いということを前提に、せめて両替先までTND貸してくれと頼みましたが、ニヤニヤした顔で断られ。まぁ、総じて私が悪いからそりゃあそうなんだけどさ。あのニヤニヤした顔は一生忘れない。情けとうものはないのかね。

Un hôtel bizarrement encore debout.

Hôtel de fonctionnement très bizarre, il tourne à l’appui d’une taverne / bar au jour et des vieilles larges chambres la nuit, il n’a pas aucun critère de cinq étoiles, ni piscine, ni club, ni restaurant, ni réception, ni snack… un vieux petit hôtel qui ne mérite pas plus de deux étoiles.

Both their Doors to the hallway and the Doors/windows facing the street was in such a condition that every Little sound came through, so Even though I stayed at the fifth floor, we could hear the traffic,horns, people talking/shouting, Doors closing and opening etc.. just so much noise all night. Definitely a shock considering this is supposedly a 5-star hotel. Concierge was mad because we did not need help with bags. Only one key to room although 2 people(small issue). Definitely my worst night in Tunisia so far although I go every year. If you want a pleasant stay with good service, and a calm night, do not Pick this hotel.

Interior design was nice, the room was very large, and bed large and comfortable also, if Only it had been quiet enough to enjoy it.
